Abstract

Graduation Mandiri is a measure of the success of the Family Hope Program (PKH) which can make participants graduate independently. This objective positions the PKH facilitator as an essential change agent for the program is success. As a result, this study will explain in detail how PKH facilitators might encourage benefit families (KPM) to graduate on their own. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. There were 11 research informants, which included program participants including mentors, independent graduate students, and the government. According to the study's findings, the facilitator plays four different roles: one that is facilitative by encouraging KPM PKH to meet their basic needs and increase the productivity of benefits who have graduated on their own; two that are educational by enhancing knowledge and hard skills through Family Development Session programs and vocational trainings; three that are represented by establishing connections between KPM and different source systems that can help them grow their businesses; and are technical by encouraging KPMs to improve their own performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of electronic-based goods and services procurement (e-procurement) at the Inspectorate General of the Ministry of Home Affairs as part of efforts to support good governance and bureaucratic reform. George C. Edward III’s implementation theory serves as the analytical framework, emphasizing four key variables: communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The study employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results indicate that the e-procurement implementation strategy within the Inspectorate General still faces several challenges, including limited human resources, inadequate internal facilities and infrastructure, the absence of internal standard operating procedures (SOPs), weak application of the reward and punishment system, and a lack of commitment and consistency in e-procurement execution. On the other hand, supporting factors include the availability of supporting application systems, sufficient internet connectivity, clear regulations, effective communication, and the benefits of time and cost efficiency. Through SWOT analysis and litmus testing of strategic issues, several improvement strategies were formulated, such as enhancing communication quality, strengthening commitment and consistency in implementing electronic procurement, reinforcing cybersecurity in the e-procurement system, improving facilities and infrastructure capacity, applying a reward and punishment system in electronic procurement practices, planning a digital risk mitigation roadmap, and establishing a rapid response team for system disruptions. With the right strategies, the Inspectorate General can become a role model in implementing efficient, transparent, and accountable electronic procurement, thereby supporting the achievement of good governance.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of educational quality on word-of-mouth (WOM) about Universitas Pancasila, with institutional image serving as a mediating variable among senior high school students in Depok City, West Java. Using a quantitative explanatory approach and data collected from 150 respondents, the study employed Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) for analysis. The results reveal that educational quality significantly influences institutional image and WOM, while institutional image also exerts a significant positive effect on WOM. Furthermore, institutional image mediates the relationship between educational quality and WOM, indicating that a strong image enhances the effect of perceived educational quality on students’ willingness to share positive recommendations. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining high educational standards and a credible institutional image as key strategies to foster voluntary advocacy and strengthen university competitiveness within Indonesia’s higher education landscape.

Abstract

Accounting digitization is an important part of technological transformation that is believed to be able to increase the competitiveness of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) through operational efficiency and cost control. However, empirical evidence regarding the simultaneous effect of accounting digitization on efficiency and cost reduction is still limited, especially in the regional context in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the impact of accounting digitization on efficiency and cost reduction in MSMEs in the city of Pontianak. The study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey design. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire from 372 MSME respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that accounting digitization has a positive and significant effect on efficiency and cost reduction. These findings confirm that the implementation of digital accounting systems, such as cloud accounting and mobile-based accounting applications, can accelerate the recording process, improve the accuracy of reports, and reduce administrative and operational costs. Theoretically, this study reinforces the literature on the role of accounting technology in supporting the performance of MSMEs. In practical terms, the results of this study can be used as a basis for local governments and stakeholders in designing policies and digitalization assistance programs to strengthen the sustainability of MSME businesses in the digital economy era.

Abstract

The rapid expansion of the coffee shop industry in Indonesia reflects a significant transformation in consumer preferences, particularly among urban populations seeking high-quality products and engaging social experiences. While previous studies have examined the impact of product and service quality on customer loyalty, empirical research in the context of local independent coffee brands remains limited. This study aims to investigate the influence of product quality and service quality on customer loyalty in the context of TKT in Tangerang, a rapidly urbanizing region in Indonesia. Using quantitative research design, data was collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 227 respondents who are regular customers of TKT outlets in Tangerang. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to assess the relationships among variables. The findings indicate that both product quality and service quality have a significant and positive effect on customer loyalty, with product quality emerging as the more dominant factor. These results align with the theoretical framework proposed by Zeithaml and provide further empirical validation within a local Indonesian context. The study contributes to the existing literature by contextualizing loyalty behavior in an emerging coffee market and offers practical insights for local F&B brands aiming to sustain customer retention through quality-driven strategies. Future research is recommended to incorporate mediating variables such as customer satisfaction or emotional engagement to enrich the loyalty framework in similar service settings

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of digitalization roles and strategies on the implementation of circular economy practices in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) within the culinary sector in Tulehu Village, Salahutu District, Central Maluku. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 100 MSME actors through structured questionnaires and interviews, and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that the role of digitalization has a positive and significant effect on circular economy practices (β= 0.2965, p < 0.001), while digitalization strategies demonstrated an even greater positive and significant effect (β= 0.4205, p < 0.001). Together, these two variables explain 92.3% of the variance in circular economy practices, indicating a strong predictive capability. The findings confirm that technology adoption not only improves operational efficiency but also facilitates sustainable business models in line with the principles of reduce, reuse, recycle, and recovery. Strategically planned digitalization is more effective than technology adoption alone in promoting sustainability. This study contributes to the literature by integrating digital transformation with circular economy practices in the context of island-based MSMEs, and provides practical implications for policymakers and business actors in fostering sustainable local economic development.
