Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the current state of IT governance at XYZ Group, identify capability gaps against best practices, and propose an improved governance model based on the COBIT 2019 framework. A mixed-method approach was applied, combining qualitative interviews with IT stakeholders and quantitative capability assessments across key governance objectives, including EDM03 (Ensured Risk Optimization), APO12 (Managed Risk), APO13 (Managed Security), BAI10 (Managed Configuration), DSS04 (Managed Continuity), and DSS05 (Managed Security Services). The capability assessment revealed that governance all process areas are at a capability level 2 Partially Achieved and lowest with EDM03 scoring 11.1%, indicating the process is not yet achieved according to COBIT 2019 standards. To validate the proposed governance framework, a validation was conducted involving both academic and industry experts. The results confirmed that the framework is relevant, feasible, and strategically aligned with XYZ Group’s IT goals. This research contributes a tailored governance solution focused on strengthening business application continuity, offering a practical reference for mid-sized organizations navigating similar challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by human resource (HRM) management in managing a multi-generational workforce in the digital age and identify strategic solutions that organizations can implement. The diversity of generations, consisting of Baby Boomers, Generation X, Generation Y (Millennials), and Generation Z, creates differences in work values, communication styles, technology use, and expectations regarding the work environment. The research method used was a qualitative approach, with a literature review of various journals, books, and recent research reports related to HRM management and multi-generational workforce dynamics. The results of this study indicate that managing a multi-generational workforce in the digital age is inseparable from a number of complex challenges. Intergenerational communication gaps, negative stereotypes, differences in work values, and limited digital skills are key obstacles frequently encountered in organizational environments. Furthermore, changes in the increasingly flexible work environment and diverse employee expectations add to the complexity faced by HRM management. However, the study also found that solutions such as open and empathetic communication, the use of multiple communication channels, ongoing training, the development of non-technical skills, and the implementation of HRIS technology can reduce gaps and increase work effectiveness. Efforts to build an inclusive work culture have been proven to strengthen cross-generational collaboration and create a more harmonious, productive, and adaptable work environment.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has brought significant changes to the world of work, particularly in how companies manage human resources. This study aims to analyze employee adaptation and competency development strategies in the digital era to remain relevant and competitive. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, reviewing literature and in-depth interviews with managers and employees at several digital-based companies. The results of this study indicate that employee management in the digital era requires an adaptation strategy that emphasizes competency development, both technical and soft skills. The application of technology in recruitment, training, performance management, and administration has been proven to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness. However, the success of HR digitalization is greatly influenced by employee readiness to adapt, company support through reskilling and upskilling, and the creation of a flexible, collaborative work culture oriented towards continuous learning. Thus, companies that are able to integrate aspects of technology, organizational culture, and competency development will be better prepared to face the challenges and global competition in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology has driven the emergence of various digital financial services, one of which is online lending applications. However, behind this ease of access, various problems have arisen related to the misuse of borrowers' personal data by service providers and third parties. This study aims to analyze the legal protection of borrowers' personal data in online lending applications and to assess the effectiveness of applicable regulations in Indonesia. The research method used is a normative juridical approach with a statutory and conceptual approach. Data was obtained through a literature review of laws and regulations such as Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection, the Electronic Information and Transactions (ITE) Law, the Financial Services Authority Regulation, and regulations related to financial technology. The results show that legal protection of borrowers' personal data in online lending services in Indonesia has not been optimally implemented, despite the legal basis provided by the ITE Law, POJK No. 77/POJK.01/2016, and most recently, Law No. 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection (PDP Law). In practice, violations often occur in the form of the distribution and misuse of users' personal data without valid consent. The Personal Data Protection Law (PDP) actually provides more comprehensive protection by affirming the rights of data owners and the obligations and responsibilities of fintech providers to maintain user data confidentiality. However, its implementation remains weak due to a lack of oversight and legal awareness among both providers and users.

Abstract

Developments in information and communication technology have supported the emergence of social commerce as a new form of online transactions that combines the functions of social media and e-commerce. This study aims to deeply understand the factors driving social commerce adoption in Indonesia, focusing on trust, reviews, and platform features. The study was conducted using a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The results indicate that trust, user reviews, and platform features play a significant role in driving social commerce adoption in Indonesia. Trust has been shown to be a key factor influencing purchasing decisions, with information transparency, transaction security, and seller reputation contributing significantly to consumers' sense of security. User reviews serve as social proof, helping potential buyers assess product quality and seller reliability, while interactive features such as live shopping and user-generated content enhance engagement and the shopping experience. Overall, the combination of trust, social support through reviews, and innovative platform features creates a more credible and engaging social commerce ecosystem for Indonesian consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Cause-Related Marketing (CRM) strategies in increasing consumer brand engagement. CRM is a form of corporate social responsibility that combines business objectives with social goals through partnerships between companies and non-profit organizations. This approach allows companies to focus not only on profits but also on contributing to social and environmental issues relevant to consumer values. This study used qualitative methods with a descriptive approach, through literature review, social campaign observations, and analysis of CRM implementation by several companies, such as Unilever (Lifebuoy and Molto) and Burger King. The results show that CRM strategies can strengthen emotional connections and consumer engagement with brands, enhance positive corporate image, and attract market segments such as Millennials and Gen Z, who care about social issues and sustainability. CRM also creates shared value between companies, social organizations, and communities through mutually beneficial partnerships. In conclusion, CRM has proven effective in building consumer brand engagement and loyalty. Authentic, consistent, and socially value-oriented CRM implementation can strengthen a company's reputation, foster consumer trust, and support sustainable development goals. Therefore, companies need to integrate social values into their marketing strategies to create long-term, profitable relationships between businesses, consumers, and communities.

Abstract

Traditional craft Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia, particularly in Makassar, face an existential challenge in the digital era: balancing cultural preservation with the need to adopt digital technology for business competitiveness. This study aims to test the influence of the Socio-Cultural Digital Innovation Capacity (SCDIC), comprising Adaptive Digital Literacy (X1), Socio-Cultural Preservation (X2), and Collaborative Governance (X3), on the Business Competitiveness (Y) of these SMEs. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected through a survey of 350 respondents selected via stratified random sampling. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed all three SCDIC dimensions have a significant positive effect on business competitiveness, both partially and simultaneously. The model demonstrates strong predictive power, with an R-Square value of 0.75. Socio-Cultural Preservation was found to have the strongest influence (β=0.34), followed by Collaborative Governance (β=0.33) and Adaptive Digital Literacy (β=0.32). The study concludes an integrated approach, synergizing adaptive digital capabilities, socio-cultural preservation, and multi-stakeholder collaboration, is crucial for building sustainable competitive advantage for traditional craft SMEs in the digital transformation era.
