Abstract

Ohoi Faan in Southeast Maluku Regency has a rich potential for cultural tourism, with various cultural activities that are still actively practiced by the local community as a traditional royal village. This study explores the cultural tourism potential of Ohoi Faan in the Kei Islands, an area rich in cultural heritage and history. The main goal is to understand how developing this potential can contribute to strengthening the local economy. Using a qualitative descriptive approach—through interviews, participatory observations, and document reviews—the research highlights several cultural sites, such as traditional houses, ancient wells, royal tombs, and Japanese bunkers, which could attract visitors. Local cultural festivals like Meti Kei, along with traditional crafts, also add to the area's appeal. Despite facing challenges such as limited infrastructure and minimal government support, the local community shows strong commitment to preserving its cultural identity. This is evident in their collaborative efforts with various stakeholders. Developing cultural tourism in Ohoi Faan offers promising opportunities—not only for creating jobs and boosting small businesses (SMEs) but also for promoting sustainable economic growth without compromising the region’s cultural values.

Abstract

The difficulty in understanding individual characteristics based on palm lines is still an attraction in the context of education and technology-based experiments. This study aims to develop an educational application that is able to detect palm lines using a laptop camera, then predict certain characters or conditions based on the input. This system is built using the Certainty Factor (CF) method to provide certainty-based inferences on the visual symptoms of the detected palm lines. The process begins with taking a picture of the hand directly through the camera, followed by detection of main lines such as the life line, head line, and heart line using simple image processing techniques. After that, the system will display symptom-based questions related to the shape of the visible palm lines, then calculate the certainty value of the inference results using CF. This application is non-commercial and was developed as an educational tool to introduce the basic concepts of expert systems and Python-based visual processing. The system has successfully detected major palm lines with an accuracy of 80% under standard lighting conditions, and produced predictive results with certainty values that matched expected outcomes in over 70% of test cases. This demonstrates the potential of the CF method in processing visual data for educational inference. The system functions reliably as an educational tool, successfully demonstrating how certainty-based logic can be applied to simple visual data, and has been well-received in testing scenarios for learning purposes.

Abstract

Roads are one of the important elements to improve community economic facilities and infrastructure based on resources, as well as support regions in overcoming rural and sub-district isolation in Musi Rawas Utara Regency (Muratara). The Simpang Lake - Musi Rawas Boundary Road Section is one of the main connecting sections for the community to go to the plantation location and is a priority area in the plantation area. Considering that this section is a priority road section, planning is needed on the Simpang Lake – Musi Rawas Boundary road section using the 2024 Pavement Design Manual. The planned age of the Simpang Lake - Musi Rawas Boundary road section is 20 years with a CBR value of 7.85% JSKN plan of 64,295.49 units, the length of the road tested is 4,800 km. The results obtained are the design of concrete design with a low traffic category with a concrete slab thickness of 200 mm, a thin concrete thickness of 100 mm, an aggregate foundation layer with a thickness of 150 mm and has a Tie Bar with a transverse joint distance of 4.00 m.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of environmental awareness, price, and digital marketing on green product purchase decisions among students at Dian Nusantara University. The research uses a quantitative method, employing questionnaires distributed to 200 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results demonstrate that all three variables—environmental awareness, price, and digital marketing—have a significant positive effect on green product purchase decisions. Environmental awareness emerged as a key motivator, while price influenced consumer choices based on perceived value. Digital marketing played a dominant role in shaping awareness and purchase behavior. The findings highlight the importance of integrating eco-conscious values with effective pricing strategies and digital engagement to foster green consumption. This study provides both theoretical insights and practical recommendations for marketers and policymakers seeking to promote sustainable consumer behavior among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of perceived ease of use and perceived security on the intention to use QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) among micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Rempoa Subdistrict, South Tangerang, with user attitude as a mediating variable. Using a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS, data were collected from 50 MSME respondents selected through purposive sampling. The research instrument was based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and tested for validity and reliability. The findings reveal that both perceived security and perceived ease of use positively and significantly influence user attitude and intention to use QRIS. User attitude significantly mediates these relationships, especially between perceived security and intention. The R² and Q² values indicate strong explanatory and predictive power of the model. These results suggest the need for strategies that enhance security perceptions and promote positive user attitudes to support wider QRIS adoption among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of entrepreneurship education, family environment, and entrepreneurial motivation on the entrepreneurial interest of students at Dian Nusantara University. As the unemployment rate among university graduates continues to rise, entrepreneurship has emerged as a viable alternative to traditional employment. Using a quantitative approach, the study surveyed 70 students through structured questionnaires. Data were analyzed using validity and reliability tests, multiple linear regression, and classical assumption tests. The results show that entrepreneurship education, family environment, and entrepreneurial motivation each have a significant positive effect on students’ entrepreneurial interest, both individually and collectively. Notably, entrepreneurial motivation was found to be the most dominant factor. These findings highlight the need for universities to integrate more experiential entrepreneurship programs and for families to provide moral support. Ultimately, fostering entrepreneurial interest among students can contribute to the creation of self-sufficient graduates who are ready to innovate and generate employment.
