Abstract

Torobulu Ferry Port is a port located in Laeya District, South Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This port connects between Konawe Selatan and Muna districts. At this time, the Torobulu Ferry Port has not implemented a zone system in accordance with applicable regulations, which causes many local residents to carry out activities in the port area, delivery vehicles or pick-ups are free to enter the port dock. a parking area ready to load vehicles and a parking area for shuttle vehicles, making delivery/pick-up vehicles often park in a ready-to-load parking area. To analyze this, an analysis based on the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number 29 of 2016 concerning Ferry Port Sterilization is used to analyze the zone system and the Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number SK.242/HK.104/DRJD/2010 concerning Technical Guidelines for Traffic Management Crossing for analysis of vehicle traffic flow patterns as well as analysis of the need for traffic signs supporting the zoning system and flow patterns referring to the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 13 of 2014 concerning Traffic Signs. In order to create an orderly and safe ferry port, the results of the analysis are to establish a zoning system and regulate the traffic flow patterns of vehicles at the Torobulu Ferry Port and to support the zoning system and vehicle flow pattern settings, it is necessary to optimize facilities such as: adding tollgates, determination of parking areas for passenger/pick-up, determination of parking areas for ready-to-load vehicles, and traffic signs.

The furthest distance from west to east is 263 kilometers and from north to south 226 kilometers (excluding Karimunjawa island). Central Java is bordered by the Indian Ocean and DI Yogyakarta in the south, West Java Province in the west, East Java Province in the east, and the Java Sea in the north. The province of Central Java also includes Nusakambangan Island in the south, and the Karimunjawa Islands in the Java Sea. In order to create services that are in accordance with the level of passenger service, analysis is neededusing the method of conformity level of minimum service standards for passengers with existing conditions. Based on this analysis, it can be concluded that there are variables that are still lacking in the services of several ferry transportations such as:Information and Safety Facilities that are easily visible and affordable are not yet available in the form of health workers, stretchers, and inadequate first aid kits, the absence of passenger service facilities, not yet available proper temperature control facilities, passenger toilet facilities according to needs, no breastfeeding mother room facilities, no wheelchair special room facilities and special room facilities for wheelchair users

Abstract

In this study, the authors took a case study regarding the evaluation of the number of ship trips on the Ketapang - Lembar crossing at the Ketapang Ferry Port, East Java Province. The Ketapang Ferry Port is one of the commercial Ferry Ports managed by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ketapang Branch and supervised by the Land Transportation Management Center Region XI, East Java Province. At this port, the operating vessels are Ro-Ro type ships that carry passengers, vehicles and goods and operate for 24 (twenty four) hours every day. Ketapang Ferry Port is one of the most crowded ferry ports. The routes at the Ketapang ferry port are the Ketapang – Gilimanuk route which connects the islands of Java and Bali and the Ketapang – Lembar route which connects the islands of Java and the islands of West Nusa Tenggara. The Ketapang – Lembar route is a new route because this route opened in December 2020. This route includes the LDF (Long Distance Ferry) route or long distance ferry service. With the existence of the Ketapang – Sheet route, it will create centers of economic growth and support overall development and it is hoped that it will reduce congestion on the island of Bali as a result of logistical transportation to the island of West Nusa Tenggara via the Padang Bai Port. Because this causes many service users going to the island of West Nusa Tenggara to prefer to use the Ketapang - Lembar cross ship because it is more efficient in travel costs and travel time. Because of this, the number of ships operating must be in accordance with existing service users so that there is no accumulation of service users and there is no vehicle overload on the ship so as not to reduce the comfort of passengers on board. The number of requests from service users for this often causes the accumulation of vehicles in the parking lot ready to load and results in overload when loading on the ship. This can be dangerous when the ship is sailing.

Abstract

The Kendari crossing harbor is a pioneer crossing that serves the three-hour commuter crossing. The government has made every effort to support economic development in the konave region. The level of services felt by those who use services may have a bearing on whether or not they should be carried out in the harbor, especially those felt at the harbor that must meet passenger service standards because they are consumers that determine the growth or failure of transportation systems. The method used to analyze existing problems is a minimum standard of compliance analysis with existing conditions. According to the corresponding treaty, the corresponding value of each passenger service requirement is 4, and the corresponding value of each passenger service requirement is 14 and 18 is also available. Based on the analysis, the conclusion is that there is still less service of several transit transit routes such as the waiting room, the toilets, evacuation route instructions, evacuation point point, the musholah facility. Inadequate, no passenger baggage service, no advanced transit information, information of shipwrecks and no masth has not met the standard requirements of passenger service in the port.
