Abstract

The Badui tribe is one of the indigenous tribes in Indonesia that still survives to this day. Geographically, the Badui tribe is close to the national capital. However, this does not necessarily make the Badui tribe eliminate the customs and laws that apply to the tribe, so it often clashes with positive law in Indonesia. This study aims to identify the clash of Badui habits with positive Indonesian law. The qualitative approach method was used to collect data and analysis. Data were collected by observation and literature study. The results show that the clash between the habits that develop in the Badui community and the provisions of positive law is a factual condition that occurs in society. For this reason, it is essential to carry out legal acculturation so that the Badui Customary Law can run in harmony with positive Indonesian law.

Abstract

Indonesia is an archipelago whose land area is separated by a very large area of water, so the role of sea transportation is very important in connecting all regions in Indonesia. The function of sea transportation is basically to transport passengers or goods from one place to another which is separated by water areas. With the existence of sea transportation, it can help create a national distribution pattern. However, to achieve this, an effective, efficient and safe marine transportation system is needed. The movement or movement of passengers and goods is the basis for trade. Through sea transportation, raw materials and goods produced from one area can be marketed to other regions. Indonesia,Shipping in inland waters is one of the oldest transportation for people and/or goods which is economical and environmentally sound and for inland areas it may be the only mode of transportation for access to markets and other social activities. The modes of transportation can range from bamboo rafts to motorized boats that can operate in small rivers, lakes to large rivers. In this case using qualitative descriptive method. Descriptive research is the basis of all research. Data collection was done by using literature study method. Search for literature that supports research both from books and journals related to the research topic being carried out.

Abstract

Bungus Bay Ferry Terminal is the only access for vehicles and passengers between Padang City and the Mentawai Islands Regency. Mentawai Islands Regency is a separate district from West Sumatra Province, which is located in the westernmost island of Sumatra and is surrounded by the waters of the Indian Ocean. There are 2 (two) Ro - Ro ships belonging to PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Padang branch serving the Padang - Mentawai Islands route. The existence of this Ferry Port is very important in an effort to support economic development and progress in the Mentawai Islands. However, at this time the crossing port zoning system has not been implemented which causes the traffic flow pattern of passengers and vehicles at this port to not run well. It is necessary to implement a Ferry Port zoning system with zoning restrictions based on PM 29/2016 concerning the Sterilization of Ferry Ports and to apply regulations on traffic flow patterns for passengers and vehicles based on SK.242 / HK.104 / DRJD / 2010 concerning Technical Guidelines for Cross Traffic Management.

Abstract

The cooling system is a medium that serves to absorb heat. The heat is obtained from the combustion of fuel in the cylinder. engine cooling is intended to maintain a stable temperature in the engine so that there is no too high temperature increase as a result of the combustion of fuel in the cylinder and the friction that occurs. Cooling the engine is also intended to reduce the risk of damage. The diesel engine cooling system is divided into 2, namely a closed cooling system and an open cooling system. The open cooling water system has an average temperature of 300 Celsius and the closed cooling water system has an average inlet temperature of 400 Celsius and an outlet temperature of 700-800 Celsius. Problems that often occur in the cooling water system are broken shaft impellers for seawater pumps, pipe leaks and capillary pipes clogged with dirt. The results of the writing refer to the damage to these components, this causes the fresh water temperature to rise. Therefore, regular and systematic maintenance and repair of these components is absolutely necessary for the cooling system to work optimally.
