Abstract

The Bangsalae Ferry Port is located in Siwa Village, Pitfeedua District, Wajo Regency, South Sulawesi Province. Bangsalae Ferry Port is a ferry port operated by the Transportation Service of Wajo Regency. The Bangsalae Ferry Terminal serves only one route, namely the Siwa - tobaku route. The Bangsalae Ferry Terminal has a very important role in improving the economy in Wajo Regency. Based on the survey results in the field, it was found that several services for passengers were not implemented properly, such as health facilities with inadequate equipment, absence of criminal prevention tools such as CCTV and audio speakers, clean water facilities in toilets / bathrooms, which were inadequate, no gangway facilities, information service facilities, parking attendants and luggage officers / porters do not use uniforms and there are no facilities for disabled / disabled passengers and space for breastfeeding mothers. In this study, the method used to analyze existing problems is the Customer Statisfaction Index, Gap Analysis and Importance Performance Analysis. Based on the analysis, it was found that the passenger satisfaction index was 72.98% with the highest gap in the equality dimension of - 0.92 and there were 9 service attributes in quadrant I that had to be improved and improved.

Abstract

Export activity is a source of incoe of companies and countries that can increase revenue. In order for the implementation of export activities in PT Meratus can ru smoothly, the company implements the system in service for customer satisfication. During carry out on job training in PT Meratus still in findng the consignee that does not return the container in a timely manner. This causes a shortage in the depo. Delays in container returns will hamper export activities at PT Meratus Line where shipment in the form of exports is a large load of actvities that can incrase the income of a company. From the result of analysis and discussion of the research, it is seen that the efforts of PT Meratus have overcome it optimally because it s very necessary once the efforts of various parties for export activities within the company is successful, and can incrase corporate ernings. If the above process is done then export process will run smoothly.

Abstract

The Klotok Rasau Jaya Port is one of the routes that serves passengers from and out of the Kubu Raya Regency to the interior such as Teluk Batang and Padang Tikar. The existence of this route is very important in an effort to support economic development in the West Kalimantan Province. The level of service felt by service users is quite influencing in the implementation of transportation activities, especially the service felt at the port which must comply with the regulations that have been set. The method used to analyze the existing problems is the analysis of the calculation of the need for a passenger waiting room, an analysis of the construction of a counter building for passengers, an analysis of fire fighting facilities, and an analysis of the suitability level of port facilities according to existing conditions. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there is no waiting room facility for passengers, causing passengers to often wait on board or in the canteen around the pier, there is no special room for purchasing tickets for passengers, there is no fire fighting facility such as APAR, and it is still not suitable. land facilities based on established regulations.

Abstract

The Ulee Lheue Ferry Port in Banda Aceh City serves a commercial route between Ulee Lheue - Balohan. The existence of this route is very important in an effort to support economic development in the Sabang region and development in the tourism sector. For this reason, it is necessary to provide services in accordance with statutory regulations in order to carry out good port activities. However, in fact there are still several indicators of service to passengers that are not in accordance with the provisions. Based on these conditions, the authors conducted a literature study on the problems found at the port. Then, an analysis is carried out using a method in order to obtain the results of the analysis as well as proposals for problem solving. The method used to analyze the existing problems is the analysis of the calculation of the level of conformity of passenger service standards in the Minister of Transportation Regulation Number PM 39 of 2015 with existing conditions. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that the appropriate aspect percentage was 44% while the remaining 56% were not. The following aspects are not appropriate, among others: (a) safety aspects such as fire extinguishers that are not maintained, there are no signs for evacuation routes and evacuation gathering points, there is no list of emergency telephone numbers; (b) security aspects such as no information on security disturbances , CCTV at the port is not functioning optimally, the lighting is less intense, (c) comfort aspects such as toilet capacity are sufficient for the comfort of the toilet in a dirty and smelly condition, no temperature control facilities available, no passenger lane (gangway) directly to ships; (d) aspects of convenience / affordability such as no information service on ship trips, porters who are not in uniform; (e) aspects of equality such as no facilities for disabled passengers, facilities for nursing mothers that still do not meet the requirements of Passenger Service Standards.

Abstract

West Sumatra (abbreviated as sumbar) is a province in Indonesia located on the island of Sumatra with Padang as its capital. West Sumatra Province is located along the west coast of Sumatra and a number of islands off its coast such as the Sikakap, Sikabaluan, Siberut, and Tua Pejat Islands which are called the Mentawai Islands. There are 4 crossing routes in the Bungus Bay Crossing Port that connect to the Mentawai Islands, namely Padang - Sikakap, Padang - Sikabaluan, Padang - Tua Pejat, and Padang - Siberut and the existence of this route is very important in an effort to support economic development in the West Sumatra Province. The method used to analyze the existing problems is the calculation of the level of conformity with the minimum service standard with existing conditions. Using Ministerial Regulation no PM 39/2015 concerning Passenger Service Standards. Standard of Passenger Service at the Bungus Bay Crossing Port Not in accordance with the Minister of Transportation Regulation number PM 39 of 2015 concerning Transportation Passenger Service Standards because the port only meets 39% of the conformity percentage, namely in the aspect of reliability / regularity in the sale and exchange of ship tickets in less time for each person. From 1 minute, in the comfort aspect, the Mushallah is available but does not meet the standards and in the security aspect, there are security officers wearing uniforms. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that there are still indicators that are still lacking and must be improved in several aspects of service such as in the waiting room for passengers, bathrooms / toilets whose conditions and numbers do not meet standards, lighting at the port at night, prayer rooms which are still adjacent to canteens, fire fighting facilities, evacuation routes or gathering points and special facilities for persons with disabilities and breastfeeding mothers who still do not meet the Minimum Service Standard requirements.

Abstract

Safety is on of the important aspects in ferry transportation. safety is shown not only to service users, but also to the ship's crew. In 1996, to be exact, on January 19 in the waters of Ujung Seukeui, Sabang, the ferry KMP. The octopus drowned, the cause of sinking the KMP. Octopus because the ship which is supposed to carry about 200 passengers, carries nearly more than 400 passengers who are transported on the ship. Then the extreme weather and changing climate from the east caused the ship to roll causing 54 passengers to die, 284 passengers missing and only 40 passengers surviving.

Abstract

Marampa Ferry Port is a port located in Manokwari Regency, West Papua Province. This port serves as an access crossing between provinces and within provinces in West Papua. At the moment, it is still at the Marampa Ferry Terminal there are basic mainland facilities that are lacking or even non-existent, which can hinder port operations. To analyze this, an analysis is used based on the Decree of the Minister of Transportation Number KM.52 of 2004 concerning the Implementation of a Ferry Port for waiting room analysis, Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 103 of 2017 concerning the Regulation of Vehicles Using Crossing Transportation Services and Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: SK.242 / HK.104 / DRJD / 2010 Regarding Traffic Pattern Management for weighbridge analysis and gangway analysis which is based on the Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: SK.2681 / AP.005 / DRJD / 2006 Regarding Operation of Crossing Ports. Therefore, it is necessary to have a review and additions to some facilities that are lacking or even non-existent at the Marampa Port, this is done to improve the existing services at the Marampa Ferry Port. Improvement of main land facilities such as repairing waiting rooms and additional supporting facilities such as air conditioning, television, charger boxing and wifi access, providing weigh bridges, and gangways that go directly to the ship deck are carried out to facilitate port operational activities so that passengers can experience the excellent service provided by the port.

Abstract

The Bakauheni Ferry Port is managed by PT. ASDP Indonesia Ferry as port operator , province BPTD Wilayah VI Provinsce Bengkulu and Lampung as a government representative in the port. Crossing the harbor Ba kauheni Located in South Lampung regency province of Lampung . Bakauheni Ferry Port is one of the largest ferry ports in Indonesia with a total of 71 ships and has 7 dock units which are divided into 1 (one) executive dock and 6 (six) regular docks, in the implementation of its operations there are several obstacles that are quite important to overcome such as the problem of implementing sterilization at the Executive Terminal which is not good enough, causing many service users to have activities in the Port area such as trading in the parking area ready to load vehicles, this can occur due to a lack of signs and support for sterilization at the Port, besides that there is still crossing between vehicles in area B3 which is an area ready to load vehicles onto ships. To analyze this, the author refers to PM Number 29 of 2016 concerning the sterilization of ferry ports, PM Number 13 of 2014 Traffic Signs and Decree of the Director General of Land Transportation Number SK, 242 / HK.104 / DRJD / 2010 regarding Technical Guidelines for Traffic Management cross crossing. The analysis used is the analysis of sterilization at the Executive Terminal, Analysis of Needs for Signs at the Executive Terminal and Analysis of Traffic Management at the Executive Terminal. In order to overcome the existing problems, it will be adjusted to the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 29 of 2016 concerning the Sterilization of Ferry Ports such as implementing zone arrangements in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 29 of 2016 concerning Sterilization of Ferry Ports so that service users will know which zones they are allowed to use. carry out activities and add equipment that supports sterilization such as land signs, road markings to make it easier for service users to reach their destination at the Executive Terminal, besides that, traffic management arrangements for delivery / pick-up vehicles will also be implemented so as not to enter prohibited areas so as to avoid crossing between vehicles in accordance with the Regulation of the Director General of Land Transportation Number: SK.242 / HK.104 / DRJD / 2010 concerning Technical Guidelines for Traffic Management at Crossings.

Hunimua’s Ferry Port is a Ferry Port that serves inter-island crossings within the province with the Hunimua - Waipirit route. Hunimua’s Ferry Port is managed by PT. ASDP Ship and Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 115 of 2016 Regarding the Obligation to Bind Vehicles to Crossing Transport Ships Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Ambon Branch. This study aims to: 1.) To determine whether the transportation at KMP. Rokatenda, KMP. Terubuk and KMP. Inelika 2020 is in accordance with the Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 115 of 2016 Regarding the Obligation to Bind Vehicles to Crossing Transport Ships and Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 30 of 2016 Concerning the Procedures for Transporting Vehicles Aboard the Ship 2.) To analyze the transportation and vehicle binding equipment requirements required by KMP. Rokatenda, KMP. Terubuk And KMP. Inelika, and 3.) To evaluate the loading of vihicles and needs of lashing officers required by KMP. Rokatenda, KMP. Terubuk And KMP. Inelika. Then to analyze this it is guided by the PM number 115 of 2016 Regarding the Obligation to Bind Vehicles to Crossing Transport Ships and the Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 30 of 2016 Concerning the Procedures for Transporting Vehicles Aboard the Ship. The analysis that will be used is the analysis of the transportation of the vehicle on the ship, the analysis of the distance between the vehicles, and the analysis of the vehicle binding officers. The results of this study are: 1) The loading of vehicles on the crossings on the Hunimua - Waipirit route is still not in accordance with the loading procedures that have been regulated in the the Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 115 of 2016 Regarding the Obligation to Bind Vehicles to Crossing Transport Ships. 2) The obligation to tie the vehicle (Lashing) on ​​the ferry on the Hunimua - Waipirit route is still not in accordance with the Regulation of Transportation Minister Number 30 of 2016 Concerning the Procedures for Transporting Vehicles Aboard the Ship. due to the absence of binding vehicles on the ship. 3) There was no lashing officer on board the Hunimua - Waipirit crossing so that the vehicle was not placed according to the rules.

Abstract

Virtual Classroom is a new term and innovation in the current teaching trends and developments in the education especially in the maritime school use communications systems, computers, Information Technology (IT) and telecommunications, particularly satellite communications. And also now, we got the pandemy of Covid-19 its impact to the learning system. It explored some of the current distance learning methodologies and the associated technologies used in their way to transfer the knowledge from the teacher and the students, especially the class which frequently empty because the teachers still in their duty especially happened in Ministry of Transportation who the teacher or trainer have to work, meeting, visiting, etc. This new approach to solve the current dilemma the country is facing now. That is, meeting both the qualitative requirements of IMO/STCW’95 and satisfying the quantitative demands of the shipping industry to avert a potential international manning crisis. The purpose of this paper is be the innovation tool to maximize the communications technology system and minimize the empty class during Covid-19 in the maritime school and assessing the technical feasibility of establishing a Distance Learning Programme for the candidate of seafarers in the Ministry of Transportation School area. The study endeavoured to make a detailed cost estimate of the resources necessary such as financial, material, human and other resources in establishing and running such a programme. Finally, it recommended the establishment of a new system in Distance Learning Programme through Virtual Classroom and to be the recommendations to all the Ministry of Transportation School to improve the quality of their education in the case of transfer knowledge and prepare the qualified seafarers.
