<![CDATA[Skills are something that every individual must have to increase family income and open work businesses for the community. The people of Bandar Bayu Village lack skills other than farming. Because of the skills possessed by the people of Bandar Bayu Village, skills training was held in the form of manual electric arc welding skills, the aim of this training was to increase family income and open work businesses for the community. Manual electric arc welding training is given because the equipment and ferrous metal are easy to obtain and the price is affordable. Welding training for the people of Bandar Bayu Village is carried out by directly instilling ferrous metal measuring techniques, ferrous metal cutting techniques, ferrous metal joining techniques by first explaining the function of the tool, the function of ferrous metal and safety before the welding process, safety during welding and safety training after welding. arc electricity manual. <![CDATA[According to Permendiknas No. 19 of 2005, cultural arts and skills education is given in schools because it is unique, meaningful, and beneficial to the development needs of pupils, and lies in the provision of experience through expressive, creative, and appreciative activities. This statement suggests that learning cultural arts and skills not only focuses on mastering the teaching material but also on enhancing students' creativity by improving their craftsmanship skills. Strategies are needed to encourage students to be creative while learning cultural skills and arts because of the importance of creativity. Approaches, methods, and learning models are crucial in the art learning process at school. By using the right target approach, learning will become more meaningful as it brings us closer to the goal. The purpose of this community service activity is to enhance students' ability to create creative products as well as help them find business opportunities. The students of SMK 10 November Jakarta are the target audience of this community service program. This method of community service is training. The lecturers and students of the study program of Industrial Engineering of Mercu Buana University who have experience in hand craft making with resin materials act as instructors and sources in this activity.]]>

<![CDATA[Community Service aims to increase the income of farmer groups by making hydroponics based IoT, the Mekar Ayu Farmers Group in Sei Mencirim Village has so far relied on horticultural farming by using agricultural land that is very dependent on nature and controlling hama by spraying anti-pests which results in the harvest being contaminated with these anti-pest substances. Farming groups have not utilized the empty land around the group members' housing which can be used to create various businesses that can increase their members' income, such as training in hydroponics, sowing water spinach and bok choi seeds. The problem is that there is no hydroponics yet, even though the land for laying hydroponics is mostly in the homes of members of farmer groups. So far, farmer groups have relied on agricultural land and knowledge of sowing seeds. IoT-based hydroponic production training solutions and seeding and pest control training until harvest arrives.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service aims to build a problem-solving mindset in screen printing companies, regarding the implementation of kanban. Currently, all roles in the company are expected to have ideas for solving problems. To generate a more structured productive mindset in the future, we need a facility that can free up ideas and provide feedback on decisions starting from the company's board of directors down to employee level. By implementing training that is equipped with simulations of case examples, the service team aims to improve the mindset of all workers that by implementing kanban simulations can be used as a strategy to achieve an agile manufacturing company. It is hoped that developing this mindset can awaken all workers to contribute to each of their work responsibilities.]]>

<![CDATA[The formation of several small, medium and large scale industries shows that Indonesia's industrial growth is increasing. Society is impacted positively and negatively by this increase. Small businesses should strive to improve supply chain efficiency. The supply chain involves all parties directly and indirectly to meet customer demand. Maximizing total value is the goal of the supply chain. The difference between the value of the final product received from the customer and the supply chain effort (cost) invested to meet customer demand constitutes the total value of the supply chain. Manufacturing processes in the production process, transportation networks that deliver products from factories to retail stores, and warehouses where products are stored in distribution facilities where large shipments are divided into smaller lots and returned. This training on supply chain management by considering environmental factors aims to increase productivity by minimizing waste produced, optimizing usage and supply chains in accordance with industrial needs. So that at the end of the training participants can have ideas for better time management based on the design cycle to delivery distribution and feedback.]]>

<![CDATA[The formation of a number of small, medium and large scale businesses shows the growth of Indonesian business. This increase has both good and bad impacts on society. It is advantageous to think of industrial growth in terms of the economy. In particular, people's living standards can be improved by reducing the unemployment rate. However, from an environmental perspective, industrial development has had detrimental effects. Where irregular waste disposal causes environmental pollution Small businesses must pay attention to internal performance and inventory if they want to compete. To meet customer demand, inventory involves all parties directly and indirectly. The goal of inventory is to maximize its total value. The total value of inventory is the difference between the cost of inventory to meet customer demand and the value of the final product received by the customer. During the production process, products are divided into smaller lots and returned to warehouses where they are stored in distribution facilities where they are shipped and from the factory to retail stores. By considering these environmental factors, inventory management training aims to increase productivity by reducing waste, optimizing usage, and developing inventory that meets industry needs.]]>

<![CDATA[One very important component of an electric car is the battery. Batteries are used as a current source for the entire electrical system and as a place to store electrical energy during the charging process. The power consumption of an electric car with a brushed DC motor drive. To find out the power consumption at a certain constant speed and the battery capacity used, the maximum distance that can be traveled can be calculated. The partner's problem is that there are no activities to assemble electric cars and calculate battery requirements for the power required by electric car. The implementation method uses the method of socialization and training or direct practice. The socialization method is carried out by inviting vocational school students to the mechanical engineering laboratory of Harapan Bersama Polytechnic to be given an explanation and knowledge about the basic principles of electric cars, the main components of electric cars and how to calculate the power required by electric car to be assembled, the activity will be held on June 9 2022 with the result being an increase in students' skills in assembling electric cars. Knowledge of calculating battery power and assembling batteries according to electric car needs, as well as correct electric car installation. The output resulting from this training is that students at SMK N1 Adiwerna have insight into battery circuits and electric car installations.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the MSME actors in Palembang City which is engaged in making accessories is AVAD Accessories. Even though it has been operating for more than 5 years, this business still has several obstacles, which is why community service activities at AVAD Accessories are very necessary to support this business. This community service activity uses primary data sourced from interviews and direct observations with business actors as well as secondary data in the form of documents in the form of previous studies and literature studies related to the theme of community service activities. This activity uses three stages including pre-activities, core activities and final activities (evaluation). The results of this activity found that the AVAD Accessories business has several strengths such as product uniqueness and the availability of online sales services. Apart from the strength of AVAD Accessories, it also has several opportunities such as the availability of bazaars and business exhibitions to support product marketing and the availability of several people's business credits and credits for MSMEs as a source of additional capital. The AVAD Accessories business also has several weaknesses, such as not using adequate promotional means, not including a trademark, not having an adequate business location and not having a method for determining selling prices and financial recording. Several threat factors for the AVAD Accessories business include: There are several similar businesses or business competition in marketing locations and limited raw materials for some products.]]>

<![CDATA[The main problem in drying crackers is that drying is not uniform and still uses solar heat. In the rainy season, the process of drying crackers cannot be done quickly or takes longer, thereby reducing the amount of cracker production in cracker MSMEs. The solution to the problem in the drying process is to use technology in the form of a cracker drying oven. The cracker drying oven was made at the UMKM Kerupuk Fantasi location so you could try it straight away. From the experimental results it is known that the drying process at a temperature of 75˚C results in a greater reduction in cracker weight than the drying process at a temperature of 70˚C. The drying process in a cracker drying oven is carried out for 3 hours to get perfectly dry crackers. Drying time using a cracker drying oven is faster than drying time using solar heat. By reducing drying time, cracker production capacity will increase.]]>
