The milling process is one of the essential techniques in the manufacturing industry used to produce components using milling machines. For engineering or manufacturing science students, understanding the milling process is relevant and valuable. The milling process is commonly used in various industrial sectors, including automotive, aircraft, energy, etc. Understanding the basic principles and techniques of the milling process will provide a solid foundation for students to develop careers in these various industries. The milling process involves the use of a milling machine. Students skilled in operating these machines will have a competitive advantage in the world of work. They will be able to contribute to product development, tool design, and efficient manufacturing processes. Students will learn how to read and understand technical drawings, choose the right cutting tools, as well as workpiece measurement techniques prior to the milling process. This capability will broaden their understanding of product engineering and design. The results of the training showed that almost all students were able to perform basic techniques in the milling process, as evidenced by their ability to produce products according to the technical drawings provided.

This workshop aims to teach students understanding and practical skills in making simple hinges using a lathe. A hinge is a mechanical device used to connect two objects to allow rotational movement around a certain axis. Through practical training, students will learn about the basic principles of lathes, selecting the right materials, precision measurements, and the correct working techniques in manufacturing simple hinges. This workshop will focus on practical steps, from reading technical drawings to the final stages of completion. Participants will be guided by instructors in lathe operations and manufacturing techniques so that they can develop valuable practical skills for the industrial world. By attending this workshop, students are expected to be able to apply the knowledge gained to engineering-based projects, broaden their technical horizons, and gain a competitive advantage in future career competitions.

This training aims to provide students with understanding and practical skills in making wrenches using bench work techniques. A Wrench is a tool used in various industrial and mechanical work, essential in tightening and loosening bolts and nuts. Through this training, students will be introduced to the basic principles of bench work techniques, including hand tools and an understanding of the materials used. The workshop will emphasize practical processes, from reading technical drawings to the final finishing stages. Students will receive instructor guidance in bench work and manufacturing techniques, enabling them to develop valuable hands-on skills in a manufacturing environment. By attending this training, students are expected to be able to apply the learning of the manufacturing process in actual practice. The training results show that all students can complete the products given even though there are still weaknesses, such as less accurate and precise products, because students do not have sufficient experience in hand skills and the use of simple bench work tools.

Cutting and drilling training is a program designed to provide the necessary knowledge and skills for students to cut and form holes in materials. During the training, participants will learn the basic principles and effective cutting techniques using various cutting tools such as hand saws, hacksaw machines, and grinding machines. Participants will also be taught about the proper use of drilling machines and techniques. The trainee will gain an in-depth understanding of selecting suitable cutting tools, machine settings, appropriate cutting speeds and safe handling during the cutting and drilling process. Participants will also be trained in measuring and evaluating the quality of cutting and drilling results. After completing the training, participants are expected to have practical skills in operating cutting machines and drilling machines. Participants can perform cutting and drilling with precision, efficiency and good quality. Participants will also increase their understanding of solving problems related to cutting and drilling. Thus, cutting and drilling training will significantly benefit participants in improving skills, work efficiency, and safety in material cutting and drilling operations.

Shaping machine training for students significantly benefits developing technical skills, preparing them for the world of work, and increasing their understanding of manufacturing processes and job safety. A shaping machine is a tool to machine metal surfaces using a reciprocating linear motion. This machine uses a blade moving back and forth to remove a thin metal layer from the work surface and create the desired shape. It is essential to adapt the training method to the needs and characteristics of the participants and provide a safe and conducive environment for learning and practising the use of the shaping machine. Evaluation of technical skills, assessment of theoretical knowledge, and review of the work results of the participants. The experience gained during the training will vary for each participant depending on background, level of expertise, and commitment to learning. The results of this training are expected to increase knowledge and understanding of shaping machines. Participants will learn in-depth about the basic principles of shaping machines, their components, and proper operating techniques.

Pawning gold is a financing instrument that can be used by people who need fast and easy financing. However, to obtain gold pawning financing, there are procedures and requirements that must be met by customers or the public. The public's lack of knowledge regarding the procedures and requirements for gold pawning financing is allegedly the cause of the suboptimal marketing of gold pawning at PT. Indonesian Sharia Bank KCP Radial Palembang. This community service activity aims to socialize gold pawning financing procedures at Bank Syariah Indonesia KCP Palembang Radial. This activity is important as a means of marketing gold pawn financing products as well as providing understanding to the public about financing products that can be used as alternatives when they need funds. The design of this service activity consists of several stages, such as identifying problems related to gold pawning procedures and marketing, socializing the requirements for applying for gold pawning financing, analyzing and socializing the assessment process for gold pawning financing and contract procedures for gold pawning financing agreements. The results of this service activity concluded that the gold pawn product is one of the financing products that has the potential to become a product that is liked by the public/customers in line with customer needs for easy, fast and safe financing products. To carry out the gold pawning financing process requires established requirements and procedures. Implementing gold pawning requires additional outreach and promotion by BSI Bank.

A workshop at a vocational school is vulnerable to the danger of accidents, especially at technology and engineering vocational schools, therefore the workshop must be managed by professional teachers who have adequate workshop management skills. Therefore, training for vocational school teachers regarding workshop management is very necessary to prevent work accidents for students during activities in the workshop. Training is currently being carried out among 41 productive teachers in the field of technology and engineering at SMK Canda Bhirawa Pare, Kediri. The training was carried out by the LP2M Community Service Team, State University of Malang. Workshop management training is carried out using theoretical and practical material. The training results show that the average competency score for the pre-test is 68.07; post-test score 90.64. So there was an increase in competency from before training compared to after training by 22.57.

Enumeration of feed in large quantities requires a relatively long enumeration time so that the fulfillment of feed requirements for livestock in large quantities is not optimal. In addition to the enumeration process, problems that often arise are the result of less refined feed enumeration because large quantities of feed enumeration still use manual methods or human power. Assistance and training Training for chopping livestock (Chopper) provides benefits to make it easier for farmers to produce good animal feed so that they can improve and accelerate livestock growth. The presence of Chopper in the "Loh-Jinawi" farmer group also has an impact: it saves the energy of farmers to find fodder, saves time in finding feed, feed waste becomes very small because the feed can be eaten by livestock cleanly, and livestock health is guaranteed because of the feed dishes to be better.

Swimming pools as public facilities that are crowded with people can potentially become a means of spreading germs and health problems due to poor environmental sanitation conditions and polluted pool water quality. Polluted swimming pool water quality can also be a means of spreading disease germs and health problems. Based on this background, the community service team through UM's internal funds intends to conduct community service as part of the tri dharma of higher education with the aim of (1) Creating and implementing a filtration system in the Padusan Tourism swimming pool that can be controlled remotely based on the Internet of Thinks ( IOT) with the type of filtration, (2) Conduct installation technical guidance on the Electrocosgulation Filtration System so that the results of water purification and pool cleanliness can be maintained properly. The method used in this community service activity is community empowerment through training and mentoring. The implementation of community service through counseling on swimming pool filtration equipment has had a positive impact and can increase understanding for residents who have swimming pool management. This can be seen from the interest and agreement between the village head and residents to produce the waste filter equipment themselves. As well as changes in the behavior of housewives in terms of limiting the use of water from springs and river water for bathing, irrigation, and consumption by livestock. In addition, this counseling activity showed that there was an increase in the understanding of Padusan Village residents as participants in this activity which was indicated by the correct answers in the question and answer process by the presenters.

UMKM Batik Ndil Koro, it is obtained that the process of making batik is less effective and efficient. At the time of the production process and the level of production speed, it was still done manually by the Cap Ndil Koro batik craftsmen. Based on this background, the community service team through internal UM funds intends to hold community service (1) Produce appropriate technology in the form of a CNC Router Milling Machine to improve the production process at UMK batik Ndilkoro for service partners, (2) Conduct technical guidance on the use of CNC tools Router Milling so that the production of batik can be increased in terms of quality and quantity, and the integration component of batik design and manufacture has been designed and prototyped. This component consists of a design system using the motif recognition method, and a computer-based CNC batik machine. The prototype has been successfully tested. System testing is done by designing batik motifs that are quite complex then transferring them into G-Code data and finally reading it to control the machine. The level of precision that is measured by testing simple images in the form of lines and rectangles can reach a precision level of up to 0.17mm, and this system is capable of producing the results. has a decent level of economic feasibility for investment. However, caution is needed in its application to avoid culture shock because it involves changes in production methods that are very different, so it is advisable to carry out socialization, education and transition programs by stakeholders, especially local governments.
