Abstract

The development of social media, particularly Instagram, has opened opportunities for various educational institutions and learning platforms such to strengthen their image and increase brand awareness among users. This study aims to maximize presence and audience engagement through Instagram. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through content observation, analysis of Instagram features, and a literature review related to digital branding strategies. The results indicate that features such as Instagram Stories, Reels and Live make significant contributions to enhancing brand awareness. In addition, crafting an authentic brand narrative and fostering community based engagement have proven effective in building emotional connections with the audience. These findings affirm that integrated and adaptive branding strategies aligned with social media characteristics can effectively increase the visibility and image of educational platforms on instagram

Abstract

Abstract. This study examines the improvement in administrative efficiency resulting from the digitalization of material manifest documents at PT Duta Marine. The initial issue identified during the internship was the use of offline files, which were inefficient, difficult to revise, and limited collaboration among administrative staff. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of transitioning from offline document management to an online spreadsheet system that enables real-time editing and centralized data storage. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed through direct observation, informal interviews with administrative staff, and document analysis to compare offline and online manifest formats. The findings indicate that the digital system significantly reduces revision time, minimizes data duplication, improves data accuracy, and enhances document accessibility for relevant users. Therefore, the digitalization of material manifests using an online spreadsheet platform is recommended as an effective approach to improving administrative efficiency, strengthening inter-staff coordination, and supporting transparency in document control within logistics operations at PT Duta Marine. Abstract

Distribusi semen merupakan aktivitas logistik dengan tingkat kompleksitas dan risiko tinggi, khususnya pada perusahaan berskala nasional. PT XYZ sebagai perusahaan logistik BUMN mengoperasikan ribuan armada truk untuk mendistribusikan semen dari pabrik ke gudang dan pelanggan, sehingga rentan terhadap keterlambatan pengiriman, inefisiensi armada, dan kesalahan data operasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis risiko distribusi semen di PT XYZ serta menentukan prioritas mitigasi risiko menggunakan metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA). Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam, dan penilaian parameter Severity, Occurrence, dan Detection. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi 22 potensi kegagalan yang dikelompokkan ke dalam empat risiko utama, yaitu parkir lama armada, operasional rute distribusi, inapan armada di gudang, serta administrasi dan data operasional. Analisis FMEA menunjukkan bahwa risiko dengan nilai Risk Priority Number (RPN) tertinggi berkaitan dengan penurunan ritase akibat parkir lama dan inapan armada. Melalui analisis Pareto, diperoleh 14 risiko kritis sebagai prioritas perbaikan. Implementasi tindakan pengendalian terbukti menurunkan nilai RPN secara signifikan. Hasil penelitian diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar pengambilan keputusan manajemen dalam meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi, keandalan armada, dan pengelolaan risiko logistik secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Microsoft Excel as an appropriate tool for improving work effectiveness, such as recording financial transactions, particularly sales receipts and tax invoices, at PT XYZ. The method used was a case study approach within the context of an internship, allowing the researcher to directly analyze work processes before and after using Excel. This included the use and utilization of formulas, dynamic tables, data validation, and automatic formatting. The results of the study have shown that implementing Excel in completing tasks, particularly sales receipts and invoices, helped the recapitulation process by minimizing errors by more than 50%. Furthermore, the author contributed to streamlining time and work methods, resulting in faster completion of work. Another impact of the implementation is faster staff working hours and interdepartmental communication, resulting in a lighter and easier workload. The use of technology and computerization in financial management and transaction systems not only streamlines work and makes completion easier, but also minimizes human error and obstacles that occur in manual processes. Supervision and security are improved without reducing the working hours of PT XYZ employees.

Abstract

The rapid development of digitalization in the printing industry requires business actors to adopt technology-based work systems in order to improve operational efficiency and the quality of human resources. This study aims to analyze the implementation of BIMA and its impact on human resource development at B21 Digital Printing. BIMA is a digital system used to record incoming and outgoing goods as well as to manage customer orders in printing operations. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving employees directly engaged in the use of BIMA. Data analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data collection, data display, and data condensation. The findings indicate that prior to the implementation of BIMA, operational processes were carried out manually, resulting in various problems such as delays in recording, data inaccuracies, and difficulties in monitoring stock and orders. After the implementation of BIMA, there was a significant improvement in operational efficiency, recording accuracy, and workflow transparency. Furthermore, the implementation of BIMA had a positive impact on employees’ work behavior, particularly in terms of discipline, accuracy, and responsibility. However, several challenges remain, especially related to employees’ digital competencies, internet network stability, and the absence of formal standard operating procedures. Overall, BIMA plays an important role in supporting operational management and human resource development at B21 Digital Printing. Keywords: Digitalization, Performance, Human Resources

Abstract

UMKM Rumahan Mama Malik di Kecamatan Krembangan, Kota Surabaya menghadapi kendala terhambatnya perputaran modal kerja akibat pencatatan piutang yang belum terstruktur, perencanaan produksi yang kurang tepat, dan pembelian bahan baku yang tidak sesuai kebutuhan. Pengelolaan modal kerja yang efektif penting untuk memastikan arus kas lancar, pengendalian pengeluaran sesuai penjualan, dan ketahanan usaha terhadap risiko finansial. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pemahaman dan solusi praktis bagi pelaku UMKM mengenai pengelolaan piutang dan perencanaan persediaan berbasis aplikasi digital. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui wawancara, identifikasi masalah, pemberian solusi dan edukasi, diskusi, evaluasi, serta keberlanjutan kegiatan. Solusi yang diberikan meliputi penggunaan spreadsheet untuk pencatatan piutang dan tabel perencanaan persediaan berbasis aplikasi digital. Hasil menunjukkan meningkatnya pemahaman pelaku UMKM terhadap pengelolaan piutang dan perencanaan persediaan, kemampuan merencanakan produksi dan kebutuhan bahan baku lebih tepat, serta kesiapan menerapkan alat bantu digital secara konsisten. Penerapan solusi ini diharapkan memperlancar arus kas, meningkatkan efisiensi modal, dan mendukung keberlanjutan usaha UMKM.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi mendorong meningkatnya kebutuhan akan sistem informasi yang andal dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Keberhasilan pengembangan sistem informasi sangat dipengaruhi oleh pemilihan model pengembangan perangkat lunak yang tepat. Salah satu model yang masih banyak digunakan hingga saat ini adalah model Waterfall. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan model Waterfall dalam pengembangan sistem informasi serta menilai efektivitasnya dalam menghasilkan sistem yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi literatur, yaitu mengkaji berbagai buku dan artikel jurnal yang relevan dan diterbitkan di atas tahun 2019. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa model Waterfall efektif diterapkan pada proyek pengembangan sistem informasi dengan kebutuhan yang jelas, stabil, dan terdefinisi sejak tahap awal. Struktur tahapan yang sistematis serta dokumentasi yang lengkap membantu menjaga kesesuaian antara kebutuhan pengguna dan sistem yang dikembangkan. Namun demikian, keterbatasan fleksibilitas terhadap perubahan kebutuhan menjadi kelemahan utama model Waterfall, terutama pada proyek yang bersifat dinamis. Oleh karena itu, penerapan model Waterfall perlu disesuaikan dengan karakteristik proyek agar sistem informasi yang dihasilkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pengguna secara optimal. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of academic supervision in improving the professionalism of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers. Academic supervision is a strategic effort in developing the professional competence of BK teachers in schools. The research method used was a literature review, analyzing various sources related to academic supervision and the professionalism of BK teachers from 2017 to 2025. The results indicate that academic supervision, implemented systematically, planned, and continuously, can improve the pedagogical, professional, personal, and social competence of BK teachers. Effective academic supervision includes planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up, involving collaboration between supervisors and BK teachers. Good implementation of academic supervision will impact the quality of guidance and counseling services to students. The conclusion of this study confirms that academic supervision is an important instrument in improving the professionalism of BK teachers through continuous coaching, guidance, and competency development. Abstract

Bullying is a serious problem that threatens the well-being of students in schools. Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers play a strategic role in preventing bullying behavior through various structured services and programs. This study aims to analyze the contribution of BK teachers in preventing bullying behavior in schools. The method used is a literature study by reviewing various relevant literature sources from 2017-2025. The results show that BK teachers contribute through orientation services, information, individual and group counseling, classical guidance, mediation, and collaboration with various parties. Comprehensive prevention programs, early detection, and handling of bullying cases are the primary responsibility of BK teachers. In conclusion, BK teachers have a vital role in creating a safe and bullying-free school environment through preventive, curative, and developmental approaches.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategies of the General Election Commission (KPU) of Binjai City in increasing voter participation during the 2024 Simultaneous General Election. The background of this research is based on the declining voter turnout in Binjai City, from 82.5% in 2019 to 77.75% in 2024. This phenomenon indicates significant challenges in the election process, particularly in reaching young voters and politically apathetic communities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation. The research informants include KPU Binjai commissioners, socialization division staff, as well as several voters from vulnerable and first-time voter groups. The findings show that the KPU of Binjai City has implemented several strategies, such as the Goes to School program, Goes to Campus, Democratic Movie Night, and the use of social media. However, the implementation of these strategies has not been fully effective due to obstacles such as limited funding, low political literacy, and public apathy. This study concludes that the KPU of Binjai City needs to develop more innovative and community-based strategies to increase voter participation, especially among young people and vulnerable groups, in order to support the realization of inclusive and participatory democracy..
