Abstract

Abstrak. Salah satu unsur tridharma perguruan tinggi adalah program pengabdian masyarakat. Oleh karena itu, partisipasi dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat diperlukan bagi seluruh dosen dan tenaga kependidikan. Proyek pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk membantu 1) pembelajaran yang sesuai untuk pendidikan sekolah dasar, dan 2) menggunakan banyak pembelajaran dengan menggunakan pendekatan dan cara-cara mutakhir yang mungkin digunakan oleh anak-anak. Pengabdian masyarakat ini selesai di SDN 094153 desa Karang Anyar. Dari kegiatan tersebut terwujudlah pembelajaran yang berpegang pada standar pembelajaran sekolah dasar yang dibuatkan RPP. Pendampingan, yang langkah-langkahnya meliputi (a), akan menjadi strategi yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut. Hubungi wali kelas secara pribadi (b).Memberikan gambaran mengenai kegiatan pengabdian yang akan dilakukan;(c).Pikirkan dan bicarakan tentang beberapa teknik pengajaran mutakhir; (d).Melaksanakan program pendampingan teknik pembelajaran kreatif bagi guru sekolah dasar ;(e)mengevaluasi program pendampingan metode pembelajaran inovatif.

Abstract

Abstract. Learning achievement is an indicator of academic success that is influenced by various factors such as spiritual intelligence, self-motivation, and memory ability. This study aims to analyze the relationship between intelligence, self-motivation, and memory ability with learning achievement of nursing students at Timor University. The study design used a cross-sectional approach with a sample of 130 students selected purposively. Data were collected using a standard questionnaire related to Spiritual Intelligence, self-motivation, and memory ability and GPA as an indicator of learning achievement. Data were analyzed using the Pearson correlation test (p < 0.05). The results showed that there was no significant relationship between spiritual intelligence, self-motivation, and memory ability with learning achievement (p-value > 0.05). This finding indicates that these three factors are not the main determinants of academic success.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui kunjungan industri ke Bee Jamur bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan pengetahuan mahasiswa tentang kewirausahaan, khususnya dalam industri makanan sehat dan berkelanjutan. Dalam kunjungan ini, mahasiswa mempelajari berbagai aspek budidaya jamur tiram, pengelolaan keuangan UMKM, serta pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan oleh Bee Jamur. Materi pengelolaan keuangan yang disampaikan mencakup prinsip-prinsip dasar seperti perencanaan, pencatatan, pelaporan, dan pengendalian keuangan, yang bertujuan untuk mendukung keberlanjutan bisnis. Tantangan dalam pengelolaan keuangan UMKM, termasuk kurangnya disiplin pencatatan dan pemisahan dana pribadi dengan dana usaha, juga dijelaskan untuk memberikan pemahaman lebih mendalam. Dampak dari kegiatan ini tidak hanya meningkatkan kompetensi kewirausahaan mahasiswa tetapi juga memperkuat implementasi Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi, khususnya dalam aspek pendidikan dan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Kunjungan ini menjadi langkah strategis dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa sebagai pelaku usaha yang memahami pentingnya inovasi, keberlanjutan, dan pengelolaan keuangan yang efektif.

Abstract

The community service activity titled "Counseling to Foster Entrepreneurial Interest among PIK-R Tipes Youth, Surakarta" aims to address the issue of unemployment among youth, particularly in Tipes Village, Surakarta. This initiative stems from the low percentage of entrepreneurs in Indonesia, accounting for only about 3.47% of the total population. Therefore, this effort seeks to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit among youth through counseling and mentoring as a step to create new business opportunities that can reduce unemployment rates. The activities were conducted from June to August 2024, employing methods such as preliminary surveys, team discussions, and two phases of counseling and mentoring sessions. The first phase was conducted on July 13, 2024, focusing on the importance of cultivating an interest in entrepreneurship, while the second phase was held on August 24, 2024, providing guidance on how to secure business capital. Through this program, PIK-R youth were given insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship, the importance of taking calculated risks, and effective business management techniques. The results showed an increase in the youth's understanding, knowledge, and interest in entrepreneurship. Members of PIK-R in Tipes Village became more motivated to start their own businesses by evaluating risks and utilizing available opportunities. As a follow-up, the program is planned to expand by involving MSMEs in the Solo Raya area to strengthen the impact of local economic empowerment through collaboration with the Community Service and Research Institute of Slamet Riyadi University, Surakarta. Overall, this program significantly contributed to instilling an entrepreneurial spirit, supporting economic growth, and broadening the youth's perspectives on creating independent businesses.

Abstract

Lewomada Tourism Village, Talibura District, Sikka Regency, has great potential to be developed as a sustainable tourism destination. However, challenges in the form of limited community skills, minimal innovation, and lack of synergy between stakeholders are the main obstacles. This program aims to overcome these challenges through synergy and innovation training based on digital marketing and development of tourism products based on local culture. The results show that synergy between stakeholders and mastery of digital marketing can increase community capacity and sustainable tourism promotion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work experience, working hours, and tenure on the income of formal workers at PT X. A quantitative approach was employed, using a survey method through questionnaires distributed to 53 respondents selected using simple random sampling. The collected data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that tenure significantly affects income, while work experience and working hours do not show significant effects individually. However, all three variables have a significant simultaneous effect on income. These findings provide insights for the company’s management in developing strategies to improve employee income. Abstract

 This research aims to analyze the factors affecting consumer demand for milkfish in Pabean Cantian District, Surabaya City. Factors studied include the price of milkfish, the number of family members, and household income. The research method used is quantitative with a causal associative approach, where data is collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents who are consumers of milkfish in the research area. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa harga ikan bandeng berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap permintaan, dengan koefisien regresi sebesar 0,638, yang mengindikasikan bahwa kenaikan harga dapat meningkatkan persepsi kualitas dan mendorong keputusan pembelian. Jumlah anggota keluarga juga menunjukkan pengaruh positif terhadap permintaan, meskipun tidak signifikan secara statistik, dengan koefisien regresi 0,021. This indicates that the more family members there are, the greater the demand for milkfish consumption. Meanwhile, household income significantly affects demand, with a regression coefficient of 0.302, indicating that higher income increases consumer purchasing power. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa harga, jumlah anggota keluarga, dan pendapatan secara simultan berpengaruh terhadap permintaan ikan bandeng di Kecamatan Pabean Cantian, dengan kontribusi yang signifikan dari harga dan pendapatan. The results of this study are expected to provide insights for producers and marketers of milkfish to develop more effective and responsive marketing strategies to consumer needs.

Abstract

Abstrak. This research aims to evaluate the income and business viability of fruit traders at Tanjungsari Market in Sukomanunggal District, Surabaya, a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) in the fruit trading sector, mostly managed by the local community. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation using a qualitative approach with primary data from fruit trader informants. Tanjungsari Market is located in the western part of Surabaya, specifically in Sukomanunggal subdistrict. The informants’ characteristics include their age, education, and business experience. Financial analysis was conducted using the R/C Ratio, B/C Ratio, and ROI to assess revenue, costs, and income. The results show that revenue ranges from IDR 6,700,000 to IDR 8,900,000, costs from IDR 5,000,000 to IDR 8,000,000, and income between IDR 6,500,000 and IDR 11,500,000. The ratios indicate that the business is financially viable and has potential for growth.

Abstract

Foreign currencies hold significant importance in the realm of international business. Cross-border transactions, which frequently involve the use of foreign currencies, are conducted by companies as a result of rapid globalization and the increasing pace of global trade activities. Utilizing foreign currencies provides benefits such as market expansion, risk diversification, and the optimization of business opportunities. The type of research employed in this study is descriptive qualitative. The findings indicate that the policy regarding the recording of foreign currency transactions in the financial statements of PT Mayora Indah Tbk is as follows: transactions conducted in foreign currencies are converted into Rupiah using the exchange rate at the time of the transaction. Monetary assets and liabilities denominated in foreign currencies at the end of the period are reported based on the average buying and selling exchange rates published by Bank Indonesia for the latest banking transactions in the given period. Additionally, exchange rate differences, whether gains or losses, are recognized in the income statement for the current period. The foreign currency accounting policy implemented by PT Mayora Indah Tbk complies with PSAK 10, although exchange rate fluctuations continue to have a significant impact on the financial statements. The practical implications of compliance with this standard and its influence on financial decision-making will be analyzed. It is expected that an understanding of foreign currency accounting will enhance the quality and credibility of corporate financial statements in the global market.

Abstract

Choosing a strategy between long-term investment and short-term trading is often an important decision for investors. This study explores both approaches on the stock of PT Perusahaan Gas Negara Tbk (PGAS), which is one of the energy sector stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). In this journal, we analyze the performance of PGAS stock, examine the factors that influence its movement, and evaluate the potential returns and risks of both investment and trading strategies. The analysis shows that the investment and trading approaches to PGAS stock have their own advantages and disadvantages that investors need to consider according to their risk profile and investment objectives.
