Abstract

This study aims to formulate a development strategy for the Kabuyutan Ciburuy Site as a sustainable historical and cultural tourism destination. The site is a Sundanese cultural heritage that holds significant historical, spiritual, and ecological value, yet faces various challenges in terms of preservation and management. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. SWOT analysis is used to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that influence the sites development. The findings indicate that the Kabuyutan Ciburuy Site has great potential as an educational and spiritual tourism attraction, supported by ancient manuscripts, traditional buildings, and living local traditions. However, the deteriorating physical condition of some structures, limited basic facilities, and lack of government support present major challenges. The recommended strategies include cross-sector collaboration, the use of digital technology, strengthening the capacity of local managers, and safeguarding the sites sacred values. With integrated and participatory development, the site has the potential to become an icon of local cultural preservation as well as a driver of a local wisdom-based economy in Garut.

Abstract

Teenagers' usage of social media is frequently associated with emotional instability, especially loneliness. This study investigates the connection between social anxiety and loneliness in adolescents who use social media often and parental attachment. Participants in the study, who ranged in age from 13 to 21, were recruited using a correlational quantitative methodology. Purposive sampling was used to choose a total of 100 responders. Three Likert-based psychological measures evaluating social anxiety, parental attachment, and loneliness were used to gather data. The validity and reliability of every instrument were examined. Multiple regression and Pearson correlation were performed once the normality and linearity tests were completed. The findings indicated a strong positive correlation between loneliness and social anxiety. In contrast to the hypothesis, a significant positive relationship was also found between parental attachment and loneliness, suggesting that a strong emotional bond with parents does not always reduce loneliness. Adolescents may still experience emotional distress due to insecure attachment styles, such as anxious attachment. This study concludes that both parental attachment and social anxiety contribute to adolescent loneliness, especially in the context of frequent social media use.

Abstract

Presidential Instruction Number 4 of 2022 concerning the Acceleration of the Eradication of Extreme Poverty targets 0 (zero) percent of extreme poverty by 2024. However, until December 2024 there is still data on poor people in West Kotawaringin Regency. Therefore, this study aims to determine how the implementation of the strategy to accelerate the eradication of extreme poverty is carried out by the West Kotawaringin Regency Government, Central Kalimantan Province. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach using the concept of strategy implementation from J. David Hunger and Thomas L. Wheelen (2023) which is seen from program implementation, budget implementation and procedure implementation. Data sources are in-depth interviews and literature studies, report documents, and data from the Central Statistics Agency. The results of this study indicate that program implementation can be said to have covered the extreme poor, especially programs in the field of social assistance, while capital assistance and business assistance have not been maximized. Second, implementation in terms of the budget still needs to be improved, especially for strategies to increase community income, and third, from the implementation of procedures, there is innovation from the Regional Government through the Regent's Regulation concerning the repair of Uninhabitable Houses (RTLH) and assistance for the construction of new buildings.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Kamoro oral literature into a deep learning pedagogical model to strengthen character values among undergraduate students in Language and Literature Education. Despite the richness of indigenous oral narratives in Papua, they are often excluded from formal education. This research addresses the gap by investigating how Kamoro storiesrich in moral, ecological, and communal valuescan enhance students ethical awareness and cultural identity through a structured learning process. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic orientation. Data were collected five months through in-depth interviews with Kamoro elders, classroom observations, student reflection journals, and semi-structured interviews with students and lecturers. Thematic analysis was used to identify core values embedded in the narratives and evaluate student engagement across five stages of deep learning: engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration, and evaluation. Findings revealed that Kamoro oral literature contains strong cultural values such as respect for elders, environmental harmony, and communal responsibility. Students demonstrated meaningful engagement, critical thinking, and creative synthesis throughout the learning process. Reflective journals showed increased cultural pride and internalization of moral values. The inclusion of indigenous elders as co-educators also contributed to a more authentic and transformative learning experience. The study concludes that integrating indigenous oral traditions into deep learning frameworks not only enriches educational content but also supports character formation and cultural affirmation.

Abstract

The development of Islamic banking in Indonesia plays a vital role in promoting societal welfare, as it operates in accordance with Sharia principles. To evaluate the performance of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), several indices have been developed, one of which is the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Index. However, the application of the GRI Index in Islamic Commercial Banks often faces challenges, as not all indicators fully align with Sharia principles. Therefore, Sharia-based institutions are encouraged to adopt the Islamic Social Reporting (ISR) indicators. Standards established by the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) and the Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), which are in accordance with Sharia principles, should be taken into consideration. Using a quantitative approach, compliance with Sharia principles is considered a crucial factor in the relationship between Islamic Corporate Governance (ICG) and Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility (ICSR). Islamic Commercial Banks with a high level of Sharia compliance are expected to demonstrate greater consistency in implementing CSR activities that align with Islamic values. The sampling method employed in this study is purposive sampling, using annual reports of Islamic Commercial Banks from 2017 to 2023. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques with SPSS version 22 as the measurement tool. The influence of Islamic Corporate Governance on Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility, with Sharia Compliance as a moderating variable, was measured, and it was found that Islamic Corporate Governance contributes 50.4% to Islamic Corporate Social Responsibility after accounting for the moderating effect of Sharia Compliance

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of store atmosphere and location on consumer purchase intention at Opsal Plaza (Sejahtera) Palopo. In the face of growing competition in the modern retail sector, understanding the factors that drive consumer purchasing decisions is increasingly crucial. The research employs a quantitative approach using multiple linear regression to analyze data collected from 30 respondents through questionnaires, observations, and interviews. The results indicate that both store atmosphere and location have a significant partial and simultaneous effect on consumer purchase intention. Among the two, store atmosphere shows a more dominant influence, as reflected in the higher regression coefficient. These findings suggest that a combination of a pleasant store environment and accessible location enhances the consumer shopping experience and increases the likelihood of purchase. This study provides valuable insights for retail management in developing more effective, consumer-centered marketing strategies.
