Abstract

Babies are assets that are beneficial for economic growth and sustainable development of a country because they are the life expectancy of families and nations. Based on the Decree of the Minister of Health Number 28 of 2017 concerning Licensing and Implementation of Midwife Practice, it is stated that midwives have the authority. Monitoring the growth and development of babies, toddlers and preschool children includes weighing activities, head circumference measurements, height measurements, early detection stimulation and early intervention for developmental deviations in toddlers using the Pre-Developmental Screening Questionnaire (KPSP). Counseling and counseling includes providing communication, information, Journal of Digital Community Service (JUPED) | e-ISSN: 2828-3503 Volume 1, Number 3, August 2022 16 education (KIE) to mothers and families about newborn care, exclusive breastfeeding, danger signs in newborns, health services, immunizations, balanced nutrition, PHBS, and grow. Baby massage is a form of stimulation for a child's body and development. Through baby massage, comfortable and safe communication will occur between mother and baby.

Abstract

 This type of research is Quantitative Associative which aims to determine the effect of motivation variables and interest in learning on improving student achievement / learning outcomes both partially and simultaneously. The population of this study were all class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a sample size of 30 people taken by purposive sampling, namely sampling techniques carried out on the basis of certain considerations of the researcher. The results of this study indicate that learning motivation partially and significantly affects student learning outcomes with a t value = 3.527> t table = 1.662, with a significance value of 0.02 <0.05. Meanwhile, the learning interest variable partially and significantly affects learning outcomes with a t value of 4.479 > t table = 1.662, with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05. Simultaneously, motivation and interest in learning affect the learning outcomes of class XI students of SMK Negeri 1 Percut Sei Tuan with a value of Fhitung = 6.406> Ftabel = 3.35 The percentage of influence is 39%. These results also explain that the higher the motivation and interest in learning students, the greater the learning outcomes and vice versa. Students with high motivation and interest in learning tend to be more active in learning and vice versa. This research is very important especially in the field of education because it greatly affects the success of a school where high motivation and interest can improve students' abilities so that it has an impact on achieving good and quality learning outcomes, the title we discuss is very interesting to be discussed by further researchers in depth, especially in learning interests that have not been directed to the majors that are really wanted to increase the achievement of student learning outcomes that are superior and can compete with existing majors in vocational schools.

Abstract

Public awareness of the importance of fitness is increasing. In Indonesia, especially in Makassar City, people's enthusiasm can be seen from the increasing number of people exercising, both individual sports such as running and cycling, as well as people joining fitness centers. Those who do this will usually end up feeling tired or known as burn out, and in the end this will make the program fail to be implemented. In this PKM activity, it was carried out at one of the FAST2FIT fitness centers in Makassar City. The type of assistance provided starts from measuring nutritional status to education regarding managing diet according to the fitness program needs of each partner member. Apart from that, more special and intense assistance is also offered for partners who want continuous assistance. The results and activities were that 32 mentoring participants were involved in the activities, and all of them showed positive responses both when educational activities were carried out and when feedback was provided. The service activities carried out consist of tests and measurements, education, and evaluation of mentoring activities.

Abstract

One of the causes of low PHBS scores in schools is due to students' lack of knowledge about the importance of clean and healthy living. By implementing PHBS in orphanages by students, teachers and the local community, it will form them to have the ability and independence to prevent disease, improve their health and play an active role in creating a healthy orphanage and school environment. The aim of this activity is to provide education to students living at the Mizan Amanah Malang Orphanage regarding Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS). The methods used are lectures, discussions, questions and answers and games. The results of the activity were an increase in the knowledge and understanding of students living at the Mizan Amanah Malang Orphanage regarding PHBS. The output of this activity is a PHBS prevention guidebook.

Abstract

Pasca Perang Dunia II, politik global dihadapkan oleh tantangan baru dengan kemunculan blok barat dan blok timur hingga terjadi peperangan ideologi antara Liberalisme - Kapitalisme oleh Amerika Serikat dengan ideologi Komunisme oleh Uni Soviet. Kemenangan Amerika Serikat atas Uni Soviet dalam Perang Dingin memberikan perubahan pada tatanan politik global yang mengalami transisi dari bipolaritas menjadi multipolaritas. Hegemoni AS dalam bidang militer, diplomasi, ekonomi, maupun kebijakan-kebijakan melemahkan posisinya sebagai negara hegemon disusul dengan kebangkitan Tiongkok sebagai pesaing AS dengan pertumbuhan ekonomi yang cukup pesat. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk melakukan analisis terhadap  pengaruh hegemoni yang dilakukan Amerika Serikat terhadap dinamika politik global dengan mengeksplorasi dinamika politik multipolar berfokus pada kebangkitan Tiongkok sebagai pesaing utama negara AS. Artikel ini memiliki pendekatan deskriptif-kualitatif  dengan menggunakan metode penelitian berupa studi kasus dan memperoleh sumber data dari kajian literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hegemoni AS mengalami penurunan akibat melemahnya ekonomi AS khususnya pasca peristiwa 9/11 karena melakukan peperangan melawan terorisme. Rivalitas ditunjukkan oleh AS yang berupaya mempertahankan status sebagai negara hegemon dengan Tiongkok yang berusaha menjadi negara hegemon mengalahkan AS melalui persaingan pada bidang ekonomi, militer, dan teknologi.

Abstract

The study aims to evaluate students' achievement in understanding English materials at the primary level through the analysis of speaking skills. The results show that students have poor speaking skills, especially in using the right words and correct sentence structure. Teachers need to increase guidance and supervision of students in speaking so that they can improve their speaking skills. The research method used was qualitative with observation and in-depth interview techniques. This research provides recommendations for curriculum development and more effective teaching strategies to improve students' speaking skills at the primary level. As such, this research makes an important contribution to improving the English speaking skills of primary school students through a more focused and targeted approach, and provides a foundation for the development of better education in the future.

Abstract

This research aims to describe scout extracurricular activities at SD N Ngaliyan 01, as well as activities aimed at developing disciplinary character at the school. This research uses a qualitative approach. In this method, the researcher acts as the main instrument, and data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained is generally qualitative in nature, with the data analysis carried out being inductive/qualitative. The focus of this research is the analysis of the implementation of scouting activities in the formation of disciplinary character at SDN Ngaliyan 01. The subjects of this research are Siaga scout students at SDN Ngaliyan 01. Data was collected through observation and interviews, then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. This research details scouting education as a means to improve the disciplinary character of students at SDN Ngaliyan 01. The research results show that (1) the formation of students' disciplinary character can be formed through scouting activities such as completing scouting attributes, (2) ceremonies, establishing rules or regulations , and through activities such as games which can help in the process of forming a disciplined character in students.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan salah satu bentuk kegagalan tumbuh kembang anak akibat kekurangan gizi kronis. Sepertiga anak usia di bawah lima tahun di Indonesia memiliki tinggi badan di bawah rata-rata. Jumlah anak stunting di Indonesia menempati urutan kelima dunia. Untuk mencapai target penurunan angka stunting membutuhkan perubahan perilaku masyarakat. Stunting selain bereziko pada hambatan pertumbuhan fisik dan kerentanan terhadap penyakit, juga menyebabkan hambatan perkembangan kognitif yang akan berpengaruh pada tingkat kecerdasan dan produktivitas anak di masa depan. Faktor penyebabnya adalah kurangnya asupan gizi, penyakit infeksi, kurangnya pengetahuan ibu tentang stunting, pola asuh yang salah, sanitasi dan hygiene yang buruk dan rendahnya pelayanan kesehatan. Selain itu masyarakat belum menyadari anak stunting sebagai suatu masalah, karena anak stunting ditengah-tengah masyarakat terlihat sebagai anak dengan aktivitas yang normal. Dengan melihat permasalahan mitra ini, maka program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan informasi kepada masyarakat agar dapat mencegah dan mengatasi masalah stunting. Hasil yang dicapai pada kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat ini, yaitu, peserta memiliki pengetahuan tentang: (a) pengertian stunting dan ciri-cirinya; (b)penyebab terjadinya stunting; (c) dampak stunting; (d) cara mencegah dan mengatasi stunting; dan (e) cara meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan gizi pada anak..serta selain itu di lakukan pemeriksaan ibu hamil di Wilayah Desa Parangbaddo Kecamatan Polombangkeng Utara Kabupaen Takalar.

Community Empowerment is a development process in which the community takes the initiative to start a social activity process to improve their own situation and condition. Community empowerment will be successful or can occur if residents participate. Community empowerment also has several principles in its implementation, namely raising awareness of the community, providing education and training, organizing, developing strength, and developing dynamics (decisions in the hands of the community itself).

Abstract

Studying English has become an important requirement in the technological era,namely the Industrial is today. One effort in the process of introducing English in elementary schools is by learning and memorizing English vocabulary that can be done by teachers i nparticular. Learning English vocabulary will increase our ability to remember. One way or method for learning to improve English vocabulary is through games. Games are one of the most effective tools to be taught to children when they want to improve their English vocabulary. This method aims to improve English vocabulary by playing guess words through our gestures. That way we will learn tomemorize and understand the words conveyed. The more guesses are correct, then we can learn the vocabulary with fun. Therefore this gamemethod can be applied by teachers in the process of learning English in the classroom.
