Abstract

This research is motivated by the movement to spread extreme ideology increasingly facilitated by the existence of new media as a tool to inform, propagandize, and spread radical ideas. To overcome this, efforts to voice a moderate way of religion (religious character) are needed. The implementation of a system to fortify students from extremist Islamic groups is done through the implementation of maÔÇÖhad. This study aims to determine, analyze the characteristics, and construct the formation of religious character in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia. Applying qualitative research method, the data were collected .from the field based on observations and interviews and library data deriving from books, scientific articles (journals), research reports, etc. Data analysis techniques include data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings of this study indicate that the characteristics of religious character in MaÔÇÖhad Al-JamiÔÇÖah PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be identified by looking at intact faith, diligently performing worship, and having noble character. The role of MaÔÇÖhad Al-JamiÔÇÖah in constructing religious character values in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia is very strategic. This research contributes to PTKIN in Indonesia in accepting and graduating a very large number of students. The process of forming religious characters in students at PTKIN throughout Indonesia can be said to run simultaneously, namely through taÔÇÖlim activities, moderate insights, habituation of ubudiyah, and enactment of rules because maÔÇÖhad has designed various religious activities in it in an integrated and continuous manner, aka becoming a daily routine.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the implementation of knowledge integration within the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman, aiming to address the issue of dichotomy and the trend of knowledge development that leads to multi, inter, and transdisciplinary approaches. The research aims to analyze the implementation of knowledge integration in the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Employing a qualitative research design with an interpretative approach, the research subjects include the chairperson, secretary, and lecturers of the Islamic Religious Education Study Program at STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Data collection is conducted through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis is carried out descriptively with stages of condensation, display, conclusion drawing, and verification. The research findings reveal the following: Firstly, the rationale behind the implementation of knowledge integration is evident across multiple levels. At the paradigmatic level, this commitment is observed through the integration of knowledge via the program's vision, mission, and motto. The policy level is enacted through leadership regulations, while at the program level, implementation occurs solely through seminars hosted by STAIN Sultan Abdurrahman Kepulauan Riau. Notably, the Islamic Religious Education Study Program has not pursued comparable endeavors. Secondly, the implementation of knowledge integration is discerned through its practical implementation in education and teaching. However, a comprehensive analysis demonstrates that aspects of planning, execution, and learning assessment have yet to encompass the philosophical, material, methodological, and evaluative levels.

Abstract

Mathematical semiotic representation is the ability to analyze and express mathematical ideas or notions of a phenomenon and everyday problem situations into the form of signs, images, symbols, and symbols that represent them and provide meaning and explanation to a package of verbal sign messages. The symbolic stage is the stage where students have understood the symbols and concepts and have ideas that are strongly influenced by language and logic skills and students are able to manipulate symbols or symbols of a particular object. The purpose of this study was to determine the representation of symbolic-based mathematical semiotics in seventh grade students of MTS Al Barokah Ajung Jember on SPLSV material using qualitative descriptive method. The instrument used by researchers in the form of written test questions consisting of two questions tailored to the symbolic representation that has two indicators that use mathematical symbols to solve problems and interpret mathematical symbols. From the results of research that has been done obtained the error of representation on indicators using mathematical symbols to solve the problem of 100% and error of representation on indicators interpreting mathematical symbols of 0%. Several studies have been carried out to explain the mistakes that students make in representation skills. This paper presents the ability of mathematical symbolic semiotic representation of students who are more specific in solving SPLSV problems that can be considered by teachers in designing learning about the ability of mathematical semiotic representation and information for observers of mathematics education.
