Abstract

The language used in social media today is partly indifferent to good and correct language rules, therefore learning good and correct Indonesian according to language rules must be learned from an early age. Language is a communication tool used in everyday life, including in social media, without using language, communication will not run well. Social media today is a place where users can express their expressions and desires, especially among teenagers. Social media is basically the latest development of new internet-based web technologies, which makes it easy for everyone to communicate, participate, share and form a network online, after which they will create their own content from their users.

Abstract

One of the areas of law that must be enforced is criminal law, because its existence is still recognized as a means capable of overcoming and preventing violations or crimes. Talking about criminal law, it cannot be separated from four main problems, namely the problem of the perpetrator, the problem of the act, the problem of punishment and the problem of the victim. Criminal law is also a means to provide legal protection for all citizens from all forms of ill-treatment, discrimination and violence. Children are the next generation of the Indonesian nation who have the right and obligation to participate in building the Indonesian state and nation. Children are also the capital of development that will maintain and defend and develop the results of national development. Given the important role of children in this country, children's rights are expressly regulated in law, that the state guarantees that every child has the right to survival, growth and development and has the right to protection from violence and discrimination. Child protection is an effort to create conditions where every child can exercise their rights and obligations. Child protection is a manifestation of justice in a society, thus legal protection must be attempted in various areas of state and community life. In community life, it can be seen that not everyone is born perfect, many are born with deficiencies which we often know as the term disabled or disabled.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze what factors can reduce poverty rates in Papua and West Papua Provinces. This study uses secondary data with a quantitative approach. The analysis tool used is STATA 14. The type of data used in this study is panel data consisting of 29 districts/cities in Papua Province in the period 2010-2021. The research data comes from the official website of the Papua Province Central Statistics Agency and the Annual Report of the Indonesian Ministry of Finance. The results of the study show that government spending and unemployment have a positive and significant effect on poverty in districts/cities in Papua and West Papua.

Abstract

Digital world players in various corners of the world need what is called electronic space for their activities. One of the very rapid developments today is the development in the field of information technology, which is applied in the banking world, including internet banking. Internet Banking is no longer a foreign term for the Indonesian people, this is due to the many national banks that use internet banking services, the internet or what is also called Cyberspace, can actually be interpreted as a space for electronic entities (netters) to interact. Internet banking allows customers to make payments online. Internet banking also provides accommodation for banking activities through computer networks anytime and anywhere quickly, easily and safely because it is supported by a strong security system. This is useful for ensuring the security and confidentiality of data and transactions made by customers. In addition, with internet banking, banks can increase the speed of service and reach in banking activities. In the development of banking technology such as internet banking, banks must pay attention to aspects of customer protection, especially security related to customer privacy. Misuse of privacy data or personal data of a person on the internet is mostly directed towards commercial matters, but it does not rule out the possibility of misuse of a person's personal data being aimed at other things that are detrimental

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze how much influence the number of workers, education level and government spending have on economic growth in the city of Medan. The hypothesis proposed is that the number of workers, education level and government spending have a positive and significant effect on economic growth in the city of Medan. The type of data used in this study is secondary data. The data is then processed using SPSS 21 with the multiple linear regression analysis method. The results of the study indicate that the number of workers, education level and government spending have a positive effect on economic growth in the city of Medan, the regression results between the dependent variable and the independent variable are R-Square = 0.979 and F statistic = 93.880 so that together the variables of workers, education level and government spending have a positive effect on economic growth in the city of Medan.

Abstract

Based on data from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), Indonesia's rice production since the last three years has continued to increase, making Indonesia the third largest rice producing country in the world. This study aims to analyze the factors affecting rice imports in Indonesia with selected economic variables: foreign exchange reserves, rice consumption, rice production, GDP per capita, and inflation. This study used quantitative methods with secondary data. Data used in this study from 1980 to 2019. Data sources are obtained through data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia (BI), International Rice Research Institute (IRRI), World Bank, Ministry of Agriculture. The analysis method uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study show that the variable of foreign exchange reserves has a significant positive effect on rice imports. The variables of rice production and GDP per capita have a significant negative effect on rice imports in Indonesia, while the variables of rice consumption and inflation do not affect rice imports in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Sari Burger King Pekanbaru Branch, the respondents of this study were 75 people, where the sample of this study were employees of PT. Sari Burger King Pekanbaru Branch. The purpose of this study was to determine the Effect of Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Sari Burger King Pekanbaru Branch with the results of the hypothesis test showing that t count (6.415) t table (1.9929) with sig 0.000 sig 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant influence on if Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT. Sari Burger King Pekanbaru Branch. Based on the calculation table, the correlation value (R) produced is 0.600. So it can be concluded that there is a high relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable. While the R Square value is 0.361. This shows that the Work Discipline variable as a whole has an influence of 36.6% on Employee Performance while the remaining 63.3% is influenced by other variables not examined in this study, for example: leadership style, compensation, etc.

Abstract

Employee performance, which is a reflection of individual competence in completing tasks, is a crucial factor for achieving organizational goals. This research aims to analyze the influence of motivation, training and work environment on the performance of PT Mustika Jaya Lestari. By using quantitative methods and saturated sampling techniques on 46 employees, this research found that motivation, training and work environment have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. This research recommends that companies continue to strive to increase employee motivation and suggests further research to consider other factors such as organizational culture.

Abstract

Infrastructure development is one of the main requirements for achieving rapid and sustainable economic growth. This research aims to: (1) To analyze the amount of spending on economic infrastructure development and identify and evaluate the amount of spending on economic infrastructure development that has been allocated in North Kalimantan and (2) To find out how infrastructure spending influences economic growth in North Kalimantan Province. Based on the results of the analysis using simple regression, namely; (1) Infrastructure development in the road, transportation and electricity sectors has a positive impact on social aspects and human development, thus infrastructure development in North Kalimantan Province is not just physical development but is also an investment strategy in economic growth and community welfare. (2) Infrastructure development has a positive and significant effect on economic growth in North Kalimantan province. This means that an increase or decrease in infrastructure development has a direct effect on the increase or decrease in economic growth in North Kalimantan Province.
