Abstract

Speech Delayin children is a developmental problem that often raises concerns for parents and health professionals. This research aims to identify the causes, diagnostic methods and effective interventions for treating speech delays in children. The causes of speech delays can vary, including genetics, environment, hearing loss, and medical and neurological conditions such as autism and language spectrum disorders. A diagnosis of speech delay requires a comprehensive evaluation by a multidisciplinary team that includes a pediatrician, speech pathologist, psychologist, and audiology specialist. Assessment tools such as language development tests and clinical observations are often used to assess a child's speech and language abilities. Effective interventions include speech therapy, language stimulation programs, as well as active involvement of parents in therapy. In addition, early intervention is highly recommended to maximize a child's speech development potential. This research emphasizes the importance of early detection and appropriate intervention to overcome speech delays and support optimal communication development in children.

Abstract

This study aims to improve cognitive abilities through patterned beading activities using loose parts in children aged 4-5 years. This research employs Classroom Action Research (CAR). The study was conducted in two cycles, each comprising four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, performance assessments, and documentation. The results show that learning activities aimed at enhancing cognitive abilities through patterned beading with loose parts can effectively improve cognitive skills in recognizing patterns, particularly ABC-ABC patterns. The improvement is evident as the pre-cycle activities showed that the percentage of pattern recognition skills in the BSH and BSB categories was only 14.28%. In Cycle I, this increased to 50% in the BSH and BSB categories. Subsequently, in Cycle II, cognitive abilities in pattern recognition within the BSH and BSB categories further increased to 78.57%. These findings imply that incorporating loose parts in patterned beading activities can be a valuable strategy in early childhood education to enhance cognitive development.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the implementation of the five holistic integrative program services and the factors that hinder and support the implementation of the holistic integrative program in Early Childhood Education institutions. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results show that the implementation of the five holistic integrative program services has been applied by conducting learning activities that can develop all aspects of child development, parenting activities, posyandu activities, and collaborating with several stakeholders such as health centers (puskesmas), DP2KBP3A, and the civil registration office (dinas dukcapil) to provide services and ensure the well-being of the students.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of playing the traditional musical instrument Talempong Pacik on the musical intelligence of children aged 5-6 years. The research employs a quantitative approach using an experimental method. The sample consists of 21 children selected through simple random sampling. Data collection techniques include observation sheets to assess the development of children's musical intelligence. Data analysis is conducted using a t-test. The results show a significant influence of playing the traditional musical instrument Talempong Pacik on the musical intelligence of children aged 5-6 years, with a t value greater than t_t (39.28 > 2.08), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (h) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (h). This indicates that playing the traditional musical instrument Talempong Pacik can be an effective means of supporting learning to develop children's musical intelligence.

Abstract

Gross motor skills are the ability to carry out activities with large muscles. This study aims to determine the effect of outbound games on the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years . This research used a PTK type of research carried out in 2 cycles with research subjects of 10 children aged 5-6 years. The success criterion is 80% as the basis for whether the research carried out was successful or not. The results of the research show that in the pre-cycle, children's abilities on average develop very well with indicators that children can carry out balance movements, control and agility, children can play games with rules, children can coordinate eyes, hands and feet, children can walk according to directions. with an average percentage obtained of 20%, in cycle I it increased to a percentage of 48% with very well developed criteria (BSB) and in cycle II it was obtained at 81.4%, an increase because it had reached 80%, so this research was.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an educational game tool called "Religion Mazes for Kids" to enhance the religious and moral values of children aged 4-5 years. Utilizing a research and development (R&D) method and needs analysis through surveys, this research produces a product whose feasibility is tested using descriptive quantitative analysis, including validation tests, initial field trials, and extensive field trials. The results indicate that this tool is suitable for use, with validation from material and media experts showing a "very good" category (scores of 4.75 from material experts, 4.46 from media experts, and 4.62 from classroom teachers). Improvement in children's abilities is evident from the pretest and posttest tables, with a significance value (2-tailed) of 0.002, indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. These findings suggest that integrating educational games like "Religion Mazes for Kids" into early childhood learning can effectively foster the development of religious and moral values in young children.

Abstract

The use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important because it has a very influential impact on the social development and communication skills of children. The aim of this research is to determine the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers. This research method uses qualitative methods with observation, interviews and documentation methods. The results of this research show that the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important due to the social development and communication skills of children. From this research it can be concluded that the use of effective communication by young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers is very important for social development as well as training social skills in children and children being able to control their own emotions. Therefore, the researcher hopes that future researchers will further develop the use of effective communication from young children aged 4-5 years in interactions with peers. The researcher also recommends to future researchers to use this research as a reference in conducting research on the use of effective communication in early childhood 4-5 years old in interactions with peers.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the improvement of cognitive abilities in early childhood by utilizing the educational game "Word Box." The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection methods including Documentation, Interviews, and Observations. Data analysis follows the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the utilization of the educational game "Word Box" has a positive impact on the cognitive development of children through their interaction with the game. There is a significant improvement in cognitive aspects, such as memory skills, understanding, and language usage in children.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe that the importance of the role of parents and teachers in shaping children's honest character because the role of educating children is not only from one direction but from many directions that are interrelated not contradictory. This research method is a library research with a qualitative approach where all data is obtained from the analysis of various previous studies related to the topic discussed. The results showed that it is very important to collaborate between the role of parents and teachers in shaping children's honest character, because in instilling character values to children it must be done by habituation. Where this habituation does not apply only at home or at school. This habituation is carried out at home with the role of parents and at school with the role of teachers.

Abstract

Digital literacy in children is the ability to understand information from the various information they receive. Introducing digital literacy to children is very important, in this era children use digital technology more often. Therefore, it is important for parents to ensure that children have a good understanding of how to use technology properly and that it can be used in positive activities. The aim of this research is to find out how to use audio stories to improve digital literacy skills in children. This research can also see how parents participate in introducing digital literacy to children, this media can help children develop developmental aspects in children. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this research provide important knowledge about research developments related to the development of digital literacy. Children can understand listening and improving words, retelling and most importantly children can express what is on their mind and use language that is easy for children and other people to understand. Researchers can conclude that it is very important to instill digital literacy in children from a young age because this development is very important to be instilled from a young age, this development is very influential on cognitive development in early childhood.
