Abstract

In a context of globalization that is increasingly eroding local values and cultural identities, the integration of local wisdom into higher education curricula offers an innovative solution to preserve and enhance those values. The research aims to identify and analyse effective strategies in integrating local intelligence into the curriculum, as well as measure its impact on student character education and multicultural abilities. The methods used in this research include examining literature by looking for literature in accordance with the context of the research. The findings show that the integration of local wisdom can be realized through several ways, such as inclusion in learning materials, the establishment of extracurricular activities that focus on local values, as well as the development of a school culture that embraces local identity. This strategy not only enriches students' learning experiences by introducing them to traditional values and practices, but also strengthens character education through the internalization of values such as diversity, tolerance, and appreciation of other cultures.

Abstract

Mathematics learning characterized by constructivism emphasizes building one's own understanding actively, creatively and productively based on previous knowledge and experience. The teacher's task in applying constructivism to mathematics learning is not only to transmit ideas to students, but also to change the conceptions they have to develop them, therefore teachers need to pay attention to students' initial conceptions before learning begins, this aims to make it easier for students in the process. processing new knowledge that will be received. In the implementation stage of constructivist mathematics learning, teachers must understand aspects of mathematics learning that are based on constructivist theory. In this regard, a number of aspects related to mathematics learning, namely (1) students construct mathematical knowledge by integrating the ideas they have, (2) mathematics becomes more meaningful because students understand it, (3) students' strategies are better assessed, and ( 4) students have the opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences and knowledge with their friends. Based on these aspects, as much as possible, the implementation of constructivism in mathematics learning must start from basic education for children.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze how integrating local wisdom into the entrepreneurship curriculum can improve the quality of education in secondary schools. (SMK). Local wisdom-based entrepreneurship is seen as a means of connecting traditional values with modern market requirements, enabling students to acquire culturally and professionally relevant skills. The focus of this research is to identify ways in which local intelligence concepts can be integrated into entrepreneurial education and its impact on student skills development. This research takes a qualitative approach with literary research methods, analysing articles, books and documents related to the research context. The findings of this study suggest that local wisdom, when integrated into entrepreneurship learning in SMEs, can provide double benefits. First, it creates a competitive advantage for students by combining technical knowledge with a deep cultural understanding. Second, the emphasis on local intelligence in entrepreneurship facilitates the preservation of cultural heritage, helping students develop a work ethos that is rooted in their social values as well as their environment. Unfortunately, there are still obstacles, including resistance to curriculum changes and a lack of resources for teacher training. Nonetheless, evidence suggests that the success of this concept can improve the quality of education and better respond to local economic needs and the growth of new entrepreneurs.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to examine the leadership styles employed at STIKES Budi Luhur Indonesia and Mahsa University Malaysia in their endeavors to enhance the quality of health education, with a particular focus on leadership rooted in institutional orientation. Both universities have demonstrated a firm dedication to improving the quality of education through the use of distinct yet equally successful leadership approaches. STIKES Budi Luhur prioritizes the creation of a curriculum that aligns with the requirements of the healthcare sector, while also focusing on enhancing soft skills and fostering religious character. In contrast, Mahsa University Malaysia prioritizes enhancing the caliber of its professors by providing regular training, modernizing facilities and infrastructure, and integrating information and communication technologies into the learning process. The study reveals that despite variations in leadership strategies, both schools effectively establish a favorable, inventive, and competitive learning atmosphere. The results of this study are anticipated to offer significant perspectives for leaders of similar higher education health institutions in developing successful leadership strategies to improve educational excellence.

Abstract

Educational activities are a social reality in society. As a unit of activity, education is influenced by and influences the components of society. The increasing demands of society for education and advances in science and technology have made it no longer possible for education to be managed solely through traditional patterns, in addition to this method no longer being in accordance with the needs and demands of society. The revolution in technology and science, changes in society, understanding of how children learn, advances in communication media, and so on give their own meaning to educational activities and this is what makes the policy of utilizing technological media and technological approaches in managing education as part of culture a means of transmitting values and ideas, so that everyone is able to participate in the transformation of values for the progress of the nation and state. The reality of education in society is still shackled by policy and control by the hands of power, the political elite. As a capitalist system of color, the policy changes made still cannot answer social problems.

Abstract

Digitalization in the education curriculum is an effort to support the online learning process without reducing the essence of delivering the material. Online learning is flexible to use, anywhere you can learn without having to meet the teacher. With this, schools can provide a platform that can be used to access student learning every day. School digitalization aims to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and overall quality of education following increasingly advanced technological developments. By implementing digital technology in schools, the learning process can become more interactive, interesting and easily accessible to all students equally. In the educational curriculum there is a project-based learning method which is one of the independent learning programs where learning is carried out collaboratively so that one class is divided into several groups. In project-based learning, students carry out investigations through daily experiences in solving problems from a question asked. It is hoped that from this process students will understand the benefits of learning which will be useful for their future life. The research methodology employed in this article is literature study, which is the process of conducting research using books, relevant journal collections, reports of research findings from earlier research, or other types of literature (library). The definition of digitalization in the context of education curricula, project-based learning, and its significance in the age of digitalization are all covered in this study.
