Abstract

In order to implement policies, the government must have a communication strategy so that information about policies reaches all levels of society. This research aims to find out how government communication in the implementation of policies on digitalization of terrestrial television in Indonesia. The research was conducted using a qualitative method with the type of case study and the concept used is good governance. The results found that the government has not found the right format to communicate and coordinate with institutions and local governments in an effort to implement policies on digitalization of terrestrial television. Government communication with the concept of good governance is needed, which prioritizes transparency in the policy-making process, is responsible for the success and failure of policy implementation, and seeks to accommodate the aspirations of broadcasters and community representatives in the decision-making process and policy socialization.

Abstract

The marketing strategy used by Murakabi Craft includes the use of high-quality visual content, consistent aesthetics, selection of appropriate influencers, active interaction with followers, and use of creative features such as Instagram Stories and IGTV. In addition, they also use digital marketing strategies such as using relevant hashtags, contests, and special promotions to increase brand engagement and awareness. This study aims to reveal the marketing strategy used by the Home Decor Murakabi Craft brand through the use of digital marketing on the Instagram platform. In this fast-paced digital era, social media platforms like Instagram have become an effective means for businesses to promote their products and services to a wider target market. This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting interviews and observing Murakabi Craft and analyzing the content and marketing strategies they use on the Instagram platform

Abstract

Visual da'wah content must pay attention to various aspects in delivering its da'wah in terms of media and the material delivered must be appropriate and interesting so that it can be included as Islamic da'wah content. Visual da'wah through Instagram social media is utilized by the Instagram account @safari_dakwah in pouring out religious knowledge and creative ideas into visual designs with messages related to da'wah. This study formulates how the content of the da'wah message is contained in the content of the Instagram account @safari_dakwah. Then how @safari_dakwah packages visual da'wah content so that it can attract da'wah objects. This study uses a qualitative method using content analysis to determine the content of the da'wah message. Based on the data analysis carried out, it can be concluded that the Instagram account @safari_dakwah has filled the da'wah design such as messages of monotheism and morals with detailed content themes about personality, gratitude, Worship, Endeavor, and Thalibul 'ilmi. Then in packaging the design of the da'wah which is packaged using design elements such as points, lines, shapes, sizes, textures, contrasts, typography, colors, and principles such as rhythm, emphasis, balance, and unity that have been adjusted so that the design is easy to read, understand, attractive, and useful.

Abstract

The Lembaga Dakwah Kampus (LDK) AL INTISYAR UIKA Bogor is a campus da’wah institution focusing on da’wah content, visual da’wah, and creative da’wah. The da’wah content shared on the Instagram account @alintisyar_ldk attracts Generation Z. This research aims to understand how to determine engaging and relevant content for Generation Z on the Instagram account LDK AL Intisyar UIKA Bogor, as well as to explore the optimal utilization of Instagram features to enhance engagement and reach of da’wah messages among Generation Z on the LDK AL Intisyar UIKA Bogor Instagram account. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method. The findings conclude that the account @alintisyar_ldk has demonstrated a good understanding of these characteristics by presenting visually appealing content, such as high-quality images and videos, and highly informative info. This helps capture Generation Z's attention and maintain their engagement. The Instagram account @alintisyar_ldk has implemented effective strategies by actively interacting with followers through Q&A sessions, polls, and responding to comments. These strategies not only enhance engagement but also build a close relationship between the account managers and the audience. To further develop and increase appeal, it is recommended that the account continue to innovate by creating more varied content, such as collaborating with influencers or young figures, and hosting live sessions involving direct discussions with the audience.

Abstract

The background to this research is that MTsN 1 Bukittinggi routinely holds cult activities on Fridays once a month. The performance system is left to student creativity. In terms of the influence of implementing cult activities on student communication, sometimes students lack self-confidence so they are embarrassed to perform, because they are given responsibility and enthusiasm so that they maximize the practice that can make them mentally strong enough to perform. Students will perform in cultural activities which can make student communication smoother in carrying out cultural activities. Therefore, this research aims to determine the relationship between cultural activities and student communication. The type of research used in this research is quantitative correlational research. Data collection techniques in this research used questionnaires and documentation. The population in this study was 331 class IX students with a sample of 25 class . The results of this research conducted at MTsN 1 Bukittinggi show that the relationship between cultural activities and student communication is 68% and 32% is influenced by other factors, so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between cultural activities and student communication at MTsN 1 Bukittinggi.

Abstract

Effective communication is a cornerstone of successful leadership, influencing organizational culture, employee morale, and overall productivity. This journal explores the role of communication in enhancing various leadership styles, focusing on case studies from Indomaret and Alfamart, two prominent retail chains in Indonesia, along with insights from sales teams. Through qualitative analysis, including interviews and observations, this study examines how leaders at these organizations utilize communication strategies to foster collaboration, motivate employees, and navigate challenges. The findings reveal that leaders who prioritize transparent, inclusive, and adaptive communication not only enhance their leadership effectiveness but also cultivate a positive work environment that drives team performance. This research contributes to the understanding of the dynamic interplay between communication and leadership, offering practical recommendations for enhancing leadership practices in retail and beyond.

Abstract

The history of the Indonesian nation's journey, cannot be separated from the role of the Muslim community, especially in the struggle to expel invaders from the face of the Indonesian earth. Through the education sector, Islamic leaders established Islamic education to strengthen the foundations of religion and for the people to fight the education system brought by the Dutch colonialists. The Islamic education system is the only formal education that has its own system and management which is different from the education system brought by the Netherlands. The Dutch government regulations that are so strict and harsh on the activities of madrassas and Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia, do not make Islamic education paralyzed and in ruins. On the other hand, the spirit of Islam was still well preserved, where the ulama and kyai were non-cooperative with the Dutch and they moved away from places close to the Dutch. Similar pressure was experienced by the Islamic education system during the Japanese education era. Where the Japanese government requires teachers to learn Japanese and obliges the Tenno (Emperor) to respect. The strength of the principles of Islamic educator leaders has shown the ability of Islamic education to survive in accordance with Islamic principles, without the influence of any power that is in power.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and explore the impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, characterized by the development of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the internet of things (IoT), and big data, on Christian theology, particularly in the context of faith communities and evangelism. By employing a literature review method, this study examines various relevant sources, including academic articles, books, and research reports, to understand how technology has transformed worship practices, social interactions, and evangelistic strategies within the church. The findings indicate that although technology offers new opportunities to expand the reach of evangelistic missions through social media and digital platforms, ethical and spiritual challenges also arise, such as the loss of depth in community relationships and the risk of diminished spiritual experiences. This research provides important insights for churches and Christian leaders in responding to the challenges and opportunities presented by technological developments, aiming to preserve the essence of spirituality while remaining relevant in an increasingly digitally connected world.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) To describe the reasons why children prefer to play the internet rather than playing outside with their friends 2) To describe the role of parents in providing digital education to children.This study uses a qualitative approach and a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques use interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are First, children prefer to play the internet rather than playing outside with their friends, second so that parents can do their jobs easily, third parents provide facilities and freedom to children, fourth children are addicted to playing the internet on YouTube, fifth the videos on YouTube are interesting so that children feel at home watching them. First, provide examples of good morals to children, second provide examples of diligent worship to children, third force children to worship such as praying and reciting the Koran so that from coercion it becomes a habit, fourth lack of affection for children who have single parents.

Abstract

Attendance recording is an essential part of employee management and reporting in institutions or companies. However, many companies still rely on manual attendance systems, where employees fill out printed attendance sheets. This method often leads to problems, such as damage or loss of the sheets, requiring reprinting and re-entering data, which is time-consuming and inefficient. To address these issues, a modern attendance system was developed using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This system incorporates the ESP8266 module for connectivity, RFID for employee data scanning, and the ESP32 Cam for facial validation. Additionally, the system integrates with a web-based interface for efficient data management and reporting. The proposed solution aims to simplify the attendance process, reduce errors, and enhance reliability compared to traditional manual systems. By leveraging IoT and website technology, this system provides a more effective and sustainable approach to managing employee attendance in organizations.
