Abstract

Kembang Kuning Tourism Village is located in Sikur District, Lombok Timur Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. This village is one of the tourist destinations famous for its natural beauty, such as mountain scenery, and unique local cultural wealth. These attractions make Kembang Kuning Village visited by many tourists every year. However, the increasing number of tourists brings its own challenges in maintaining the cleanliness and sustainability of the village environment. As a tourist destination, a clean and well-maintained environment is essential to maintain the village's image and attractiveness. Therefore, community empowerment efforts in maintaining environmental cleanliness are a top priority to support the sustainability of the village as an environmentally friendly tourist destination. Various community empowerment strategies have been carried out to increase residents' awareness and involvement in maintaining village cleanliness. The programs implemented include waste management training, the establishment of waste banks, and cleanliness campaigns involving the entire village community. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of community empowerment strategies that have been implemented in Kembang Kuning Village, evaluate the extent of community participation in cleaning activities, and analyze the impact of these programs on the quality of the village environment, as well as to provide recommendations to overcome obstacles faced, such as limited waste management facilities, minimal use of recycling technology, and lack of support from external parties. With better collaboration between the community, government, and tourism managers, Kembang Kuning Tourism Village can maintain the cleanliness and beauty of its environment in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

This review explored data security and privacy in Internet of Health Things (IoHT) networks, focusing on local training for AI models and Federated Learning (FL) to ensure privacy and integrity. This highlights the importance of leveraging technological advancements for disease prediction and data exchange. Functional programming can be used in various industries and applications under real-world scenarios. In the medical industry, safeguarding the confidentiality of patient records and medical status is essential. This is where collaborative or federated learning becomes relevant. On the other hand, creating an intelligent system that helps medical personnel without exposing data can result in a Federated Learning concept. An example is an AI-based intelligent system for diagnosing brain tumors, which can effectively operate within a teamwork setting. Advancements in smart devices and applications designed for the Internet of Healthcare Things have created an ideal setting for implementing Machine Learning techniques. Nevertheless, conventional ML solutions work by collecting and processing data in a centralized manner. Federated Learning (FL) offers a potential solution for training machine-learning models on numerous separate devices without the need to share private data. As a result, FL provides a secure framework for managing extremely sensitive data in the context of the IoHT. This survey provides a detailed overview of new data security and privacy tools for Federated Learning in Internet of Health Things networks. Initially, we introduced the fundamental concepts of Federated Learning (FL) as it is applied to the IoHT.

Abstract

Educational inequality in Indonesia is often influenced by socioeconomic differences and the distribution of educational facilities, which is the focus of the implementation of the zoning system in Oebobo sub-district, Kupang city, in accordance with Permendikbud No. 14/2018. This study aims to evaluate the level of accessibility to schools at different levels of education-Kindergarten, primary, junior secondary and senior secondary-and analyze the impact of the zoning system on this accessibility. Using mixed methods, this study combines quantitative data from questionnaires with qualitative data from field surveys to get a comprehensive picture of distance, time, cost, type of transportation and road conditions. The results show that kindergartens have the highest accessibility score (21) and fall into the very adequate category, while primary, junior and senior high schools obtain lower scores but remain in the adequate category (15-18). Road damage such as potholes and grain dislodgement had a significant effect on the accessibility score. Based on these results, it is recommended that the zoning system should still be implemented to ensure equitable distribution of students and reduce the stigma of favorite schools. In addition, it is necessary to map transportation routes, improve road conditions, and update zoning maps to meet the needs and latest developments in Oebobo Sub-district.
