Abstract

The curriculum is one of the most important parts of the teaching and learning process. Curriculum changes have become an important discussion in the world of education. In Indonesia, there have been eleven curriculum changes. This study aims to analyze English teachers' views on curriculum transformation in Indonesia. Using a qualitative method, this study used a questionnaire as an instrument. This qualitative approach allowed for a comprehensive exploration of the nuanced views and experiences of English teachers. The results of this study show that English teachers have varied perspectives on curriculum change in Indonesia which include the positive impact as well as difficulties encountered. Therefore, support from the government is needed both in maximizing supporting facilities in schools as well as training for teachers

Abstract

The company merger between Gojek and Tokopedia, which has been carried out since 2021, aims to unite two different company ecosystems into a single entity with a wider reach. Therefore, the existence of Public Relations is needed in maintaining the image of the two companies that have become one. This study aims to determine the role of Public Relations in maintaining GoTo's corporate image after the merger. The theory used in this research is the theory of Dozier and Broom regarding the role of Public Relations in maintaining the company's image, including (1) expert preciber communication, (2) problem solving process facilitator, (3) communication facilitator and (4) technician. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through literature search, company documents, media monitoring, and observation. The results showed that with the role of Public Relations as a problem solving process facilitator and communication facilitator, the GoTo Company can handle issues regarding the policy of reducing incentives and employee layoffs quite well, so that GoTo's image can still be maintained

Abstract

This research was conducted to examine and obtain a comparison of the performance of state-owned pharmaceutical industry companies before and after the formation of the holding company. Based on the results of research conducted, the author uses the results of the total asset turnover ratio (TATO), Net Profit Margin (NPM), Return on Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Current Ratio ( CR). The method used in this research is a descriptive and comparative method using a quantitative approach. The results of this study show that there are differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the Total Asset Turnover ratio before and after Holding, there are differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the Net Profit Margin ratio before and after Holding, there are differences in financial performance pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the Return On Asset ratio before and after Holding, there is no difference in the financial performance of pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the Return On Equity ratio before and after Holding, there is no difference in the financial performance of pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the ratio Debt to Equity Ratio before and after Holding, and there are differences in the financial performance of pharmaceutical industry holding companies as measured by the Current Ratio before and after Holding.

Abstract

The Korean Wave is a rising phenomenon in Indonesia. South Korean entertainment companies capitalize on this by introducing an innovation called LYSN, an application designed to enhance the quality of relationships between fans and idols. This research aims to explore the motives behind the usage of the LYSN app among NCTzen fandom. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews as the data collection technique with informants meeting specific criteria. The findings reveal four motives for using LYSN: surveillance, diversion, personal relationships, and personal identity.

Abstract

Tofu dregs flour is obtained from drying tofu dregs, which still have high protein and fiber content. It can be used as a substitute for wheat flour in processing a typical Bengkulu cake, namely bay tat cake. This research aims to analyze the effect of substitution of tofu dregs flour on the physical, chemical, and organoleptic properties of bay tat cake. This research method includes processing tofu dregs flour and processing bay tat cake with tofu dregs flour substitution treatment of 2.5%, 5%, 7.5%, 10%, 12.5%, and 15%. The analysis in this research includes yield, texture, water content, protein, fiber, carbohydrates, organoleptic (color, taste, aroma, texture), and analysis of the benefits of bay tat cake. The results of the analysis of the yield of bay tat cake with the substitution of tofu dregs flour were between 85.81% and 88.66%. The results of the texture analysis of the bay tat cake were between 8.69% and 19.23%. The results of the analysis of the water content of the bay tat cake were between 15.13% and 15.80%. The protein analysis results for bay tat cakes were between 14.07% and 16.46%. The results of the analysis of the highest carbohydrate content of bay tat cake were in the 15% tofu dregs flour substitution treatment, namely 47.00%. The results of the analysis of the fiber content of bay tat cake were between 1.12% to 1.53%. The results of the organoleptic analysis of the color of the bay tat cake were between 3.55 (somewhat like) to 4.5 (like). The organoleptic taste of bay tat cake is between 3.5 (somewhat like) to 4.4 (like). The results of the organoleptic analysis of the aroma of bay tat cake were 3.2 (somewhat like) to 4.35 (like). The texture analysis of the bay tat cake was between 3.15 (somewhat like) to 4.4 (like). Analysis of the profits of bay tat cake with 2.5% substitution of tofu dregs flour, namely Rp. 1,292/pack or Rp. 1,085.28 per month. Abstract

In 2020, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) revealed that current data shows that the number of people with disabilities in Indonesia reached 22.5 million people. Meanwhile, referring to estimates from the Indonesian Ministry of Health in 2017, the number of visually impaired people in Indonesia was 1.5% of the entire population. Teenagers with visual disabilities have visual impairments so they experience limitations in various experiences, the ability to encounter objects and interact with their environment. One way to increase the independence of blind teenagers is with a self-development program through computer information implemented by schools. SLB-A National Level Coach Jakarta. This research aims to describe a self-development program through computer information for the independence of class VIII blind teenagers at SLB-A Pembina National Level in Jakarta. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection was carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Determining informants using snowboll sampling. The results of this research indicate that the self-development program through computer skills implemented at the Jakarta National Level Pembina SLB-A plays a role in increasing students' social, emotional and intellectual independence. Then, at the SMPLB level, students are more interested in computer skills which are relevant at this time in the era of technological development.

Abstract

One of the sub-districts in West Sumatra that has tourism potential is X Koto Singkarak. However, due to the lack of promotion, especially in the tourism sector, there are still many people who do not know about the existence of tourism in X Koto Singkarak District. These factors cause the need to produce media in order to promote tourism in X Koto Singkarak District. The best type of media to promote tourism is video. The design of this promotional video will highlight the artificial and natural tourism in the sub-district. This video was published on a number of social media platforms, such as Instagram, Tiktok, and YouTube.

Abstract

Entrepreneurs are the main actors in economic development with their function as innovators or creators of new creations. Entrepreneurship has many types and fields, one of which is broiler farming. Broiler farming can be done using cages with open house and closed house types. Broiler farming has a relatively short maintenance time, there are three maintenance phases, namely the pre-stater phase, stater phase, and finisher phase. In order to produce quality chickens, farmers must know how to raise broilers properly and recognize the various diseases that can infect broilers. Broiler farming with a partnership system is very helpful for farmers in terms of facilities and infrastructure for raising chickens and selling chickens. Closed house chicken cages with a colony system have the advantage of being able to maximize the number of chicken populations with limited land conditions, cleaner cages, faster chicken growth and are in accordance with standards for raising broiler chickens. However, colony type cages have disadvantages compared to postal type closed housed cages which are cheaper to build, and have lower operational costs.

Abstract

Research aims to explore the interaction between Arab culture and local wisdom in Indonesia, particularly in preserving traditional values amidst modernization. This qualitative study employs in-depth interviews and participatory observation to collect data from Muslim community leaders in Jakarta. The findings indicate that traditional values such as mutual cooperation, respect for elders, and religiosity are still highly esteemed, albeit with varying interpretations. Muslim informants integrate religious teachings and ancestral traditions into their daily practices. They negotiate with modernity by adapting traditional values to be relevant to contemporary needs. In conclusion, traditional values persist in modern Muslim society in Indonesia through the selective integration of elements from Arab and local cultural heritage.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce competition in the food business currently causes food companies to always improve the quality of their food and services. McDonald's is a company that operates in the services and products sector that sells fast food. Fast food is in great demand by various groups because of how easy it is to get it. Mc Donald's is a fast food restaurant that is very popular with consumers in various regions. This restaurant serves a variety of ready-to-eat foods that offer various other aspects such as service, price, and so on. This is expected to satisfy consumers. The purpose of this research is to determine the characteristics of consumers who often or have used services at Mc Donald's, to find out consumer satisfaction with the products provided by this Mc Donald's restaurant. Good service quality, affordable prices, attractive promotions and strategic locations are very important in building a franchise. This research aims to understand the quality of service provided by McDonald's restaurants by examining five dimensions of service quality, namely tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance and empathy.
