Abstract

This study explores aggression behavior in early childhood and the effectiveness of storytelling in reducing it using quantitative methods. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires at Aisyiyah VI Kindergarten in Padang, with data analysis using JASP 0.16.4.0. Aggression, defined as behavior aimed at causing harm, is increasingly common among children in Indonesia and can be both physical and verbal. Storytelling was studied as a potential intervention, with evidence showing improved social behavior and decreased aggressiveness. The technique involves using stories that are appropriate to the child's developmental stage and allows them to learn through the example of the characters in the story. The implementation process includes needs analysis, theme determination, story creation and delivery. The results show storytelling is effective in reducing aggressive behavior in early childhood. This study highlights the important role of parents and teachers in supporting children's social development through a comprehensive educational approach.

Abstract

This qualitative research aims to describe (1) how Kurikulum Merdeka is implemented and (2) what difficulties are faced whilst implementing the curriculum in Indonesian language learning. The subjects of this research were the principal, fifth grade teacher and students. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The data then analyzed utilizing Miles and Huberman model. The study showed that the implementation of Merdeka Kurikulum of Bahasa Indonesia in fifth grade classroom is quite effective. It is said to be quite effective because the teaching and learning process runs quite well and is in accordance with the learning objectives. However, a few problems existed which were handled by the school administrator.

Abstract

The research that was conducted was entitled "The Influence of Lego Games on the Creativity Abilities of Early Childhood in Kindergarten IT Bunayya 7", researchers saw that some children's creative abilities had not yet developed, only a few children's creativity had begun to develop. The research methodology used is a quantitative methodology with a pre-experimental design one group pretest posttest approach. The research population was children from the Al-Quddus class at TK IT Bunayya 7 with a sample size of 15 children. Data collection techniques using observation, tests, documentation. Researchers use the SPPS application to facilitate data processing, namely validity testing, reliability testing, normality testing and hypothesis testing. The results of the research reveal that (1) Lego games have an effect on the creative abilities of young children in Kindergarten IT BUNAYYA 7 (2) obtained from the results of the t test analysis (paired sample t-test), it can be obtained that tcount > ttable (ǀ-5.113 ǀ (absolute) > 2.145) and Sig. (2 tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is a significant influence on children's creativity between before and after using Lego learning media. (3) The effect size of the Lego game is that a Cohen's d value is 1.3. And in the interpretation table, the value of Cohen's d is 90% which can be categorized as large.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the factors causing low numeracy skills in mathematics subjects in class 4 of SDN 8 Cakranegara. Considering that nowadays problems in learning mathematics are very often encountered and varied. Because in learning mathematics there are many symbols, numbers and formulas so it is often considered difficult and boring, therefore there are still many students who do not understand the concepts from mathematics lessons to their application in everyday life. This research uses qualitative methods with a library research approach. The results of the research show that the difficulties in learning mathematics experienced by students show that there are two influencing factors, namely internal factors and external factors. Internal factors that influence include attitudes towards learning, motivation to learn, and body health. Meanwhile, external factors include variations in teacher teaching, family and social environment.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) and Rahmatan lil 'Alamin Student Profile (PPRA) within the Merdeka curriculum at MI YMI Wonopringgo 03, Pekalongan Regency. The research aims to address the challenges in nurturing and developing students' interests and talents at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Initial observations identified several issues affecting student engagement, including laziness, lack of responsiveness, and a tendency to give up easily. These behaviors hinder the optimal development of students' potential. Through a comprehensive analysis, the study examines how innovative teaching approaches and collaborative planning can enhance student engagement and achievement. The findings highlight the significance of integrating religious practices with modern educational strategies to foster a holistic learning environment. The Merdeka curriculum's emphasis on religious habituation is found to be instrumental in motivating students and uncovering their latent talents. MI YMI Wonopringgo 03, known for its consistent student achievements at various levels, serves as a model for effective implementation of the curriculum. The study concludes that tailored educational models and methods significantly contribute to the development of students' interests and talents, leading to improved educational outcomes and the overall quality of the institution. This research underscores the importance of continuous innovation and personalized learning approaches in education, particularly within religious institutions. The successful integration of P5 and PPRA within the Merdeka curriculum at MI YMI Wonopringgo 03 offers valuable insights for educators and policymakers aiming to enhance student potential and academic performance in similar educational settings.

Abstract

Innovations implemented at Nasima Elementary School (SD) Semarang to improve learning activities. These innovations include technology integration, relevant curriculum development, interactive teaching methods, and ongoing training for teachers. The aim of implementing this innovation is to create a more dynamic, interesting and effective learning environment so that students can reach their maximum potential. The use of technology such as digital devices and e-learning platforms has enriched students' learning experience and increased their participation. The curriculum is developed based on students' needs and interests through a project-based learning approach which helps in developing critical thinking and teamwork skills. Interactive teaching methods, such as group discussions and simulations, increase student engagement and develop their social skills. Continuous training for teachers ensures increased competence in teaching methods and use of technology. These innovations show how important adaptation is in education to improve the quality of learning at SD Nasima Semarang.

Abstract

In the context of increasingly digitized education, the role of technology in the professional development of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers is an important area of concern. This study aims to explore the impact of technology on improving pedagogical skills, access to educational resources and collaboration among teachers, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The method used was a literature study, which included an analysis of current academic sources on the application of technology in education. The results show that technology, especially e-learning platforms and digital collaboration tools, can significantly improve pedagogical skills and student motivation, despite major challenges related to unmet infrastructure and training needs. The implications of these findings highlight the need for improved technology infrastructure, better training and institutional support to maximize the benefits of technology in education. This research provides a basis for the development of new models of technology integration that consider the local context and specific needs in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah education.

Abstract

Religious character is one of the characters that must be developed in students, because religious character is very much needed by students to face the changing times and moral decline, where students are expected to have standards of right and wrong based on religious rules and are able to act accordingly (Ahsanulkhaq, 2019). This study aims to analyze the implementation of dawn education activities in the formation of religious character in early childhood students at the MDTA Baitus Shafa Talang Babungo Mosque. This study uses a qualitative case study method with informants, namely the head of MDTA, three MDTA teachers and MDTA students from kindergarten, grade I elementary school, and grade II elementary school levels. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and data conclusions. Data validity techniques use source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this study are the planning carried out including forming groups, preparing themes, preparing materials, making event schedules, determining the implementers of dawn education, distributing materials, and rehearsals. Then the stages of implementing activities consist of preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities. Meanwhile, at the eval_uation stage, dawn education activities are held every week and eval_uations are held at the end of each semester.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the planning, implementation, eval_uation, supporting factors and inhibitions of the picture and picture method in Arabic lessons class V C. The picture and picture method is a method that uses picture or visual media, so that students are more interested and more enthusiastic in learning. The method used in this study is a qualitative method of field research. The data sources in this study consisted of one principal, one Arabic teacher and six students of class V C. The techniques used in data collection were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that teachers have carried out planning by making teaching modules, implementation starts from opening, core and closing activities, and eval_uation. The results of the summative eval_uation of students stated that the quality of student learning using the picture and picture method was quite good.
