Papanda Journal of Mathematics and Sciences Research
Papanda Journal of Mathematics and Sciences Research (PJMSR) is a scientific journal published by Papanda (Paguyuban Panalungtik Sunda) since 2022. This journal was established to provide up-to-date knowledge in the fields of mathematics and science (physics, chemistry, biology) widely to all academics, researchers and students who have an interest in this field. PJMSR is an open-access journal published twice a year (June - December). All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by the editor and then evaluated by two reviewers with relevant fields through a double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the manuscripts published in the journal.

This study aims to determine the Application of Matlab in the Matrix. The development and presence of computer technology have made it easy for various parties to use it in life, including education, to support education. Computers are increasingly providing significant benefits in education, especially in learning. Hundreds or even thousands of computer application programs or software can be used for learning mathematics, especially the Matrix. One software that can be used in Matrix learning is the Matrix Laboratory (MATLAB). This program can increase speed and accuracy in mathematical calculations in Matrix learning so that the time needed to work is more efficient. The results obtained are more accurate than estimates done manually. It can also visualize graphs in 2 and three dimensions, for example, in completing the Matrix, so it is expected to increase understanding of the material provided.

Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa salah satu disebabkan oleh kurangnya penerapan model pembelajaran yang efektif pada saat kegiatan pembelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan kemapuan berpikir kritis siswa diperlukan inovasi pembelajaran agar dapat memperbaiki serta dapat meningkatkan kualitas dan kuantitas suatu pembelajaran matematika. Salah satu alternative penyelesaian masalah ini adalah dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Penelitian primer terkait efektivitas model Problem Based Learning untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa SD telah banyak dilakukan. Penelitian-penelitian tersebut perlu diidentifikasi, dianalisis perkembangannya, dan ditarik kesimpulan secara umum sehingga dapat dimanfaatkan. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi, memaparkan dan menganalisa hasil beberapa studi terkait efektivitas model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode systematic literature review (SLR). Berdasarkan pembahasan ini menunjukan bahwa, secara umum penggunaan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berdampak positif dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis matematika siswa SD pada saat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran Matematika. Hasil penelitian ini dapat menjadi pertimbangan bagi para peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian dan bagi guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas.

One of the reasons for the low numeracy skills in elementary schools is the lack of application of instructional media which provides opportunities for students to practice directly and train themselves to be skilled at counting. To improve students' numeracy skills, learning innovations are needed that involve students actively through direct learning experiences. One alternative solution to this problem is to use colored beads as learning media in learning Mathematics in Elementary Schools. This study aims to find out 1) to know the application of color bead media to grade 1 elementary school mathematics 2) to find out the increase in math skills in grade 1 elementary school students after using color bead media, and 3) to know the effect of using the media the color of the beads on the numeracy skills of 1st grade students. This research is a systematic literature study. Based on this discussion, the media of colored beads is very effective for improving students' numeracy skills, because students have the opportunity to directly practice and train themselves to be skilled at counting. The results of the research are expected to provide an overview for developing further research regarding improving numeracy skills through learning media of colored beads in mathematics in elementary schools.

Primary research related to the implementation of Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) to improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities has been carried out a lot. These studies need to be identified, their developments analyzed, and general conclusions drawn so that they can be used as suggestions for the progress of researchers and practitioners in the field of education. This study aims to look at research trends by identifying and classifying all research results related to the application of the Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) model to improve students' mathematical problem solving skills in Indonesia in 2018-2022. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method. There are 7 related articles analyzed in this study. The results of this SLR show that the most research on the implementation of the Discourse Multi Representation (DMR) learning model on students' mathematical problem solving abilities was mostly carried out in 2021 and the most research subjects were elementary students. The most widely used research method is the quantitative method and in general the results show that the Discursus Multy Reprecentation (DMR) model is able to have a positive impact or improve students' mathematical problem solving skills compared to other learning models. The results of this study can be a consideration for researchers in conducting research and for teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom

Education is a reference that is assessed for the progress of a nation. Good quality education is born from good quality human resources. Mathematics is one of the sciences that must exist at all levels of education. This study uses a qualitative approach and the data analysis process emphasizes more on concluding comparisons of literature reviews from several scientific journals. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning model could improve students' mathematical problem solving abilities. In this case students are required to be active in groups, understand, plan to solve problems. Thus it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning model can be an effective learning method for improving elementary school students' mathematical problem solving abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on students' natural science critical thinking skills. This study uses the SLR (Systematic Literature Review) method. Sources of data obtained from various articles and research journals. Data collection was carried out by reviewing all articles related to the use of the Inquiry learning model published in the 2018-2022 period. The articles used in this study were 15 articles obtained from DOAJ and Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish application. Each article was recorded and then classified based of year of study, level of class, and research method to be analyzed one by one. The results of this SLR show that most research on the implementation of the Inquiry learning model on students' critical thinking skills was carried out in 2020 and the most research subjects were elementary school students with the most widely used research method being the quantitative method (Quasi Experiment) and in general the results show that the Inquiry model is able to provide positive impact compared to other learning models. The results of this study can be a consideration for researchers in conducting research and for teachers in conducting learning activities in class

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Systematic Literatur Riveuw (SLR). Sumber data yang didapat dari berbagai artikel dan jurnal penelitian. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan riveuw yang dilakukan terhadap berbagai artikel yang terkait dengan penggunaan model pembelajaran problem based learning (PBL) yang diterbitkan dalam kurun waktu 2018-2022. Artikel yang digunakan pada penelitian kali ini sebanyak 10 artikel yang diperoleh dari Google Scholar dengan penggunaan aplikasi Publish or Perish. Setiap data yang didapat dari hasil klasifikasi berdasarkan tahun, jenjang pendidikan, dan metode penelitian. Dilihat dari hasil SLR menunjukan bahwa penelitian mengenai implementasi dari model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa banyak dilakukan pada tahun 2020 dan penelitian sering dilakukan pada kelas V SD, serta metode penelitian yang sering digunakan adalah peneli tiantindakan kelas, Secara umum dapat dilihat bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) dapat memberikan dampak yang positif baik bagi guru maupun siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat menjadi bahan pertimbangan bagi para peneliti dalam melakukan penelitian dan bagi guru untuk dapat melakukan kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas dengan lebih baik.

The purpose of this research is to identify, describe and analyze the results of several primary studies on the effect of the PBL model on the creative thinking skills in science. Systematic literature review (SLR) was used as the method in this study, through searches on the Google Scholar and DOAJ databases from 2018 to 2022, resulting in 15 primary studies that met the specified inclusion criteria. Each article was recorded and then classified based on title, year of study, level of education, and type of research to be analyzed one by one. The results showed that PBL had an influence on the development of students' creative thinking skills science learning, because with the PBL model the learning process applied student-centered problem-based learning activities with the teacher acting as a facilitator, and involving students in independent discovery activities through collaboration between students in small groups to solve problems representatively. So that PBL is suitable to be applied to achieve the goals and urgency of learning, especially in developing students' creative thinking skills.

The results of this SLR show that most research on the implementation of the Mind Map learning model on student learning outcomes was carried out in 2020 and the most research subjects were elementary school students. The most widely used research method is the quantitative method and in general the results show that the Reciprocal Teaching model is able to have a positive impact or improve students' writing skills compared to other learning models. The results of this study can be a consideration for researchers in conducting research and for teachers in carrying out learning in the classroom.
