Abstract

The surge in micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) highlights their vital role in Indonesia's economy by generating employment and fostering innovation. Despite the introduction of the NIB (Business Identification Number) system to streamline business registration, many micro and small entrepreneurs lack the knowledge to obtain necessary business licenses and halal certification. This study focuses on educating and assisting Rengginang cassava entrepreneurs, specifically "Bu Tarni," in Pagerukir Village to navigate these processes. Conducted in August 2023, this initiative involves direct outreach and guidance to facilitate the acquisition of free halal certification through SiHalal and business registration numbers. The project aims to enhance MSMEs' understanding of the significance and procedures of obtaining these certifications, thereby boosting product quality, consumer trust, and sales. The expected outcomes include heightened awareness, improved procedural knowledge, and successful registration and certification of MSMEs, ultimately leading to increased consumer interest and improved community welfare in Pagerukir Village, Sampung District, Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

People with Mental Disorders (ODGJ) often face stigmatization and barriers to economic participation. Empowering ODGJ through creative activities like doormat production can yield significant social and economic benefits. This study focuses on the village of Sidorejo, which has 41 ODGJ residents. Common perceptions suggest that ODGJ are less productive and unable to engage in meaningful work. This literature review aims to highlight the positive impacts of empowering ODGJ to increase productivity through creative doormat production. The Poskeswa self-help group (SHG) initiative in Sidorejo Village seeks to enhance ODGJ's social and economic abilities. The research examines how empowerment efforts through doormat production can improve ODGJ's income and identifies the positive impacts of these programs. Secondary data were collected from SHG reports at the Sidorejo Health Post and interviews with the village midwife. The study reveals that community development programs provide ODGJ with individual and group counseling, often utilizing sign language for effective communication. The findings indicate that with proper support, ODGJ in Sidorejo Village can acquire life skills that enable them to be self-sufficient, secure employment, and be creative. Consequently, they can generate an income that meets their daily needs, thereby improving their overall quality of life. This research underscores the importance of targeted community development programs in transforming the lives of marginalized groups like ODGJ.

Abstract

The village of Kupuk, situated in the Bungkal District of the Ponorogo Regency in East Java, is extremely vulnerable to natural disasters such as forest fires and tornadoes. The level of public awareness and readiness for this disaster must still be enhanced. This area also has natural springs, often the location of drowning accidents. To address this issue, students from Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo participating in a community service program have created an educational video on disaster preparedness and first aid. Creating this video requires identifying disaster risks, collaborating with experts and relevant authorities, collecting in-depth information, conducting first aid simulations, professional video production, expert content validation, and distribution through social media and local community networks. This initiative's results indicate that disaster mitigation and community education play a crucial role in safeguarding communities from the threat of natural disasters. Collaboration between stakeholders and video technology has increased the community's awareness and preparedness for emergency situations. This video has the potential to serve as an illustrative model for other regions confronting comparable threats.

Abstract

Horticulture as it relates to the cultivation of garden vegetation. In a broader sense, the term pertains to the modern cultivation of garden plants. Horticultural products can be cultivated on a modest scale, such as in a household. By disseminating horticultural seeds, the researchers hope to reduce the market price of chilies or prevent inflation, particularly in Munggu Village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency. The researcher conducted a direct survey in Munggu Village, Bungkal District, Ponorogo Regency, as part of the observational research method. Researchers' surveys revealed that the majority of Munggu Village residents were cultivators. As a result, the service's work program involves the distribution of horticultural seedlings in the form of chili plants and eggplant plants to every resident of Munggu Village. The current inflation is heavily influenced by rising food prices, which have a significant impact on rising food prices on the market. The distribution of horticultural seedlings, such as chili and eggplant, has the potential to reduce inflation. Low and consistent inflation is a precondition for sustained economic growth, which ultimately contributes to the improvement of people's standard of living. The significance of controlling inflation stems from the fact that high and unstable inflation is detrimental to society's socioeconomic conditions.

Abstract

Bekiring Village is an area with a large population. There are many livelihoods as cattle farms so that pure cow's milk yield is relatively abundant. Many residents who work as cattle breeders have their own background, namely that previously, the residents were workers and managed cloves in Bekiring Village. However, the residents changed their jobs to become cattle breeders because of an epidemic that could not be handled. Cows that are cared for are the main source of livelihood for local residents, from delivering pure milk to shops or factories that will process the milk into a product that can be consumed properly. It is known that the advantage of whole milk is that it is a food ingredient that has high nutritional value. However, cow's milk is easily damaged if handled poorly, as it spoils easily and can cause illness if consumed. Therefore, innovation is needed in processing pure cow's milk into processed products with a more economical and nutritious selling value, such as fresh bekiring milk drinks. 1) Providing knowledge to the community regarding the economic potential of pure cow's milk, 2) providing insight to PKK mothers regarding how to process pure cow's milk into ready-to-drink milk products, and 3) skills training for the community regarding processing pure cow's milk.

Abstract

The technical issue with current human resources is that they still require writing instruction. When Google has published and indexed the manuscript, another problem is incorrectly registering the title, author's name, journal name, pages, and other identification information. Modern technology influences the methods and applications of each open journal system (OJS). Understanding how to submit a manuscript to OJS from the outset is important. The service seeks to improve Google Scholar's indexing of scientific journal submissions to OJS by enhancing their comprehension. The method for implementing the service comprises three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Based on the activity results, it is evident that participants are enthusiastic and motivated to participate in the training because the knowledge garnered from this training will assist them in completing assignments to publish journals, works, final reports, dissertations, and PKM.
