Abstract

Wagir Kidul Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency, is the 2nd largest milk-producing village in Ponorogo. In this case, group 2 of the KKN Muhammadiyah University of Ponorogo has the opportunity to serve and work in the community by creating an innovation work program for processing superior village products. In this case, we have an idea to help improve the people's economy in the village by making innovations in processing pure cow's milk. We mix pure cow's milk with ginger and other flavors. The method used in this research is community education and training. This innovation produces results where processed milk has a higher nutritional content than pure milk. Apart from that, the selling value of processed milk has increased more than that of pure milk's, where profits have increased by almost 20%. Based on this, it can be seen that the innovation of processing pure cow's milk into Ginger Milk has positively impacted the community's economy, especially for cattle breeders in Wagir Kidul village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency.

Abstract

Kesugihan Village is an area located in the highlands, approximately 5.6 km from the sub-district government center. Kesugihan Village has a spring that is located not far from residential areas. However, due to the lack of public concern for the environment of the spring, it is not used as a tourist attraction. Kesugihan Village has a tourist destination, Sekar Wilis Park, which is not far from residential areas and water sources, so the village and community should utilize existing facilities and natural resources. However, the park is no longer operational due to a lack of maintenance by the community, youth organizations, and the village government. The 01 KKN UMPO 2023 team in Kesugihan Village wants to revive empty land by changing the swimming pool into a fishing pond so that this effort can increase the motivation of residents and the village government to improve the residents' economy.

Abstract

In the eyes of society, universities are considered only to teach theory without any form of application when viewed from the perspective of social life. This can be seen from the surrounding conditions where not many university graduates can apply this theory in the field. This activity aims to bridge learning at SPS Mawar, Kebonagung Subdistrict, Pasuruan City, with a service learning approach in the English Day program to provide training for SPS Mawar Kebonagung Early Age Children (AUD) in improving their English language skills by introducing several new vocabulary through singing and fun game. This activity involved a lecturer, four PGRI Wiranegara University students, AUD SPS Mawar students, and teachers. A participatory approach is also used in this service activity to attract students' attention and make it easier for students to remember new vocabulary. Students are directly involved in the learning process. The success of providing English language teaching can increase AUD's ability or vocabulary in English by providing new inspiration in teaching children English skills with fun learning.

Abstract

The existence of BUMDes (Village-Owned Enterprises) is a national initiative designed to enhance the economic welfare and public services of villages across Indonesia. According to Law No. 6 of 2014, establishing BUMDes is mandatory for all villages, including Wates Village in the Jenangan District. This study focuses on the potential of BUMDes in Wates Village, particularly within the culinary sector, to act as economic drivers. The primary objective is to evaluate how BUMDes can foster the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the community by enhancing product branding and marketing reach. Using a qualitative research method, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and literature reviews from relevant sources such as books, journals, and websites. Triangulation was employed to ensure the validity of the collected data. The findings indicate that BUMDes can significantly contribute to economic growth in Wates Village by providing essential support to local culinary MSMEs. This support includes improving branding strategies, expanding marketing reach, and offering training programs. The study concludes that with targeted interventions, BUMDes can effectively elevate the economic status of village communities, aligning with Indonesia's national principle of improving community welfare at all levels.
