Abstract

This research aims to find the effect of actively participating in routine studies and the intensity of carrying out sunnah fasting Monday and Thursday on the religious behavior of students at the Abdurrab Integrated Islamic Junior High School Pekanbaru. This research is field research with a quantitative approach with research sample was 148 students. The results of this research indicate that active participation in routine studies has a significant influence on the religious behavior of students at the Abdurrab Integrated Islamic Junior High School Pekanbaru. This is shown by the tcount value of 9.500 being greater than ttable 1.976 with an influence of 40.5%. The variable intensity of carrying out sunnah fasting Monday-Thursday has a significant influence on the religious behavior of students at the Abdurrab Pekanbaru Integrated Islamic Junior High School, Pekanbaru. This is shown by the tcount value of 3.060 being greater than ttable 1.976 with an influence of 9.3%. There is a significant influence on the activity of taking part in routine studies and the intensity of carrying out sunnah fasting simultaneously Monday-Thursday on the religious behavior of students at the Abdurrab Integrated Islamic Junior High School Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Muslims often use mosques as centers of activity. The mosque being the axis of Islamic activities is very appropriate to be implemented in society, apart from being used for worship, it can also be used as a basis for society in life. This article explains the study of the importance of mosques and their role in Islam according to Al-Imam Khomiini in the book al-Masjid Ahmiyatahu Wadu>rohu fi> al-Isla>m. The primary data source in this research comes from the book al-Masjid Ahmiyatahu Wadu>rohu fi> al-Isla>m. Using secondary sources of information from books and articles relevant to the research theme through documentation techniques is a common and effective approach in research. Documentation techniques involve collecting data from various existing documents and literature. Then in content analysis, this research found the role of mosques according to Al-Imam Khomiini, namely: (1) mosques as the axis of Islamic activities (2) mosques as places of worship (3) mosques as a place to educate the next generation (4) mosque in building society. The results of the research show that mosques have a significant role in community life such as centers of worship, education centers, economic centers for the people, centers of social activities, and centers for the benefit of the people in Islamic society.

Abstract

Morals play an important role in Islam, reflected in the Koran and Hadith. Islamic boarding schools, such as the Babussalam Pekanbaru Islamic Boarding School, play a crucial role in shaping the morals of students through suluk, a spiritual journey to get closer to Allah SWT by cleansing oneself of negative traits and filling oneself with praiseworthy traits. Congregational prayer is also significant in strengthening the relationship with God and fostering good behavior. This research uses a quantitative approach to explore the correlation between the intensity of following suluk, the quality of congregational prayer, and the morals of the students. Data from 139 santri students showed that the intensity of suluk and the quality of congregational prayers had a significant positive effect on the morals of the students, with a percentage of 58.3% and the remaining 41.7% was influenced by other variables not discussed in this research. Despite this, some unethical behavior is still found among Islamic boarding school students, indicating the need to evaluate and improve religious education programs to ensure effectiveness in forming good morals.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of Emotional Intelligence on Learning Motivation in Santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda Al Manshurin Kediri City. The hypothesis proposed is that there is an influence of Emotional Intelligence on Learning Motivation in Santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Huda Al Manshurin Kediri City. The sample used in this study was 150 Santri of Nurul Huda Al Manshurin Islamic Boarding School in Kediri City which was taken with Purposive Sampling technique. The independent variable in this study is Emotional Intelligence, while the dependent variable is Learning Motivation, both of which are revealed by using a scale. The analysis used is Spearmen's Rho correlation with the results of rho xy = 0.416 and sig. or p = 0.000 (p>0.01). This means that there is a highly significant positive correlation between the Emotional Intelligence variable and the Learning Motivation variable. The results of hypothesis testing show that there is a highly significant positive correlation between Emotional Intelligence and Learning Motivation in students. The higher the Emotional Intelligence, the higher the Motivation to Learn in students.

Abstract

Negotiation is a form of conflict management that provides a forum for resolving conflicts that can satisfy parties and build opportunities by establishing stronger relationships. However, awareness of the importance of negotiation is still low, even though negotiation skills, especially for students, prepare themselves to face various kinds of conflicts in the outside world. Therefore, this research explains Negotiation, types of Negotiation, Negotiation skills, and key Negotiation factors. This research uses a library research method by collecting books, previous research and articles related to Conflict Management and Negotiation. The results show that negotiation is a process of resolving problems between two or more parties, where the problem arises on the basis of different points of view which are then united in one common agreement. Negotiation types are divided into distributive and integrative. Negotiation skills by separating feelings, focusing, collecting options, and assessing objectives. Key factors through various self-skills. And the implementation of Negotiation is an effective alternative in resolving conflicts that occur in Educational Institutions, whether or not there is a mediator, both conflicts related to the learning process to conflicts over Educational Institution policies.

Abstract

Character development in Islamic education is an integral part of shaping a generation with strong faith and high morals. The thoughts of Imam Al-Ghazali, as one of the leading figures in the intellectual tradition of Islam, provide a strong foundation for the development of the concept of "Insan Kamil" or the perfect human. This article aims to analyze the patterns of character development according to Imam Al-Ghazali's thoughts, focusing on efforts towards the transformation of Insan Kamil within the context of Islamic education. The research method employed is a descriptive-analytical approach to examine various works and concepts proposed by Imam Al-Ghazali regarding character development and the concept of Insan Kamil. Analysis is conducted on Al-Ghazali's classical texts and modern interpretations to understand their relevance and applicability in today's educational context. Findings from the study indicate that the concept of character development according to Imam Al-Ghazali provides a robust foundation for holistic and sustainable Islamic education. Principles taught by Al-Ghazali, such as emphasis on noble ethics, simplicity, and honesty, can effectively be integrated to shape individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also morally upright in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of organizational structure on the behavior of the members of SMAN 1 Sawahlunto. Utilizing qualitative methods, this research involved direct observation and in-depth interviews with various stakeholders at the school, including the principal, teachers, students, and administrative staff. The results indicate that SMAN 1 Sawahlunto implements a hierarchical organizational structure, with the principal at the top, followed by vice principals, department heads, teachers, and administrative staff. This structure has several significant impacts on the behavior of the school community. Firstly, teachers tend to follow instructions from superiors without much debate, which can reduce their personal initiative and creativity in teaching. Secondly, students have a high level of respect for teachers and administrative staff, creating a disciplined environment, but they sometimes feel less confident in expressing their opinions or new ideas, which can limit active participation and the development of critical skills. Thirdly, the administrative staff strictly follows established procedures, ensuring efficiency and consistency in routine tasks, but they are less flexible in dealing with unexpected situations. In conclusion, the hierarchical structure at SMAN 1 Sawahlunto creates an orderly and disciplined environment, but it also presents challenges in terms of flexibility, initiative, and active participation. It is recommended that the school consider adopting a more participative and flexible approach to optimize the potential of all its members.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the inconsistency between the curriculum used, namely the independent curriculum, and the practice in the field that is not student-centered. In addition, there is a lack of filters in responding to foreign cultures that enter through technology. The purpose of this study is to analyze the implications of the application of the concept of system among KHD Education in the learning process and the implications of the application of the concept of the theory of KHD Education in the use of technology in learning at MIN 1 Rembang. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method. In this study, the subjects are teachers at MIN 1 Rembang. Data collection techniques were obtained from documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis techniques go through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Based on the results of the study, it was obtained that the application of the concept of among system Ki Hajar Dewantara in MIN 1 Rembang was carried out based on the kinship and independence of students which helped students to learn and develop their abilities. Then the application of the concept of Trikon theory is carried out based on three principles, namely continuity, convergence, and concentricity.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and analyze the principal's strategy for fostering teacher professionalism at Zainul Jadid Middle School, Masalembu District, Sumenep Regency, Madura. Education is considered an important foundation for a country's development, with the main aim of educating and empowering individuals to contribute positively to society. The principal plays a key role in improving teacher professionalism through various strategies such as giving direction, correcting behavior, praising, accepting recommendations, maintaining identity, welcoming new members, and building group discipline. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques involving interviews and direct observation in the field. The research results show that school principals are active in involving teachers in training, workshops, and regular meetings to improve their competence and professionalism. The principal also emphasized the importance of structured supervision and guidance to ensure the effectiveness of the learning process. These findings highlight the important role of principals in creating a positive educational environment and supporting teacher professional development.

Abstract

This study investigates how Kyai visionary leadership contributes to the development of training education in Indonesia. This research reveals how kyai, as a visionary leader, can lead the coaches in facing the challenges and changes of the modern world while preserving traditional Islamic values. The research uses a qualitative approach that involves in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. Kyai plays an important role as a spiritual and moral guide, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for academic and personal growth. The study emphasizes the importance of visionary leadership in curriculum development, promoting a learning culture that fits students' needs, and how it affects student performance and overall training effectiveness. The study also found the benefits of Kyai visionary leadership in improving the quality of education and building the creative character of the centre. The results provide practical insights for educators and leaders in the Islamic education system, especially the practitioners. They also offer advice to encourage dynamic and supportive future leadership practices.
