Abstract

This PkM activity aims to strengthen the capacity of non-profit organizations in program planning and control through the implementation of a Project Management System (SMP) equipped with ARIMA-based forecasting features. Partner issues include activity planning that is not yet data-based, fluctuations in donations/service requests that are difficult to predict, unstable volunteer scheduling, and inconsistent achievement reporting. Interventions are carried out through needs assessments, strengthening project governance (SOP, RACI, logframe, M&E), development of data templates and dashboards, and training and mentoring on the application of ARIMA to predict key indicators (e.g., monthly donations, number of beneficiaries, need for aid packages). Success is measured by increasing project administration compliance, planning accuracy (reduced forecasting errors), and increasing the timeliness of reporting and the use of dashboards in decision-making meetings.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to strengthen project management for the implementation of social and community activities in partner communities. Common problems encountered include unstructured activity planning, unclear task allocation, poor volunteer management and communication, unmapped activity risks (permits, weather, security, logistics), and substandard post-activity reporting and evaluation. The program is implemented through needs assessments, core project management training, workshops on developing work tools (project charter, WBS, timeline, RACI, budget, risk management, SOP), activity execution simulations, and implementation assistance for one community project. The output is a ready-to-use project management toolkit that can be replicated for subsequent community activities.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to strengthen the MSME supply chain through the implementation of efficient inventory and distribution management. The main problems faced by partners include inaccurate stock, frequent stockouts/overstocks, the absence of a reorder point, untidy inventory recording, and unmeasured distribution costs. The program is implemented through supply chain process assessments, training and workshops on inventory recording, establishing stock policies (minimum-maximum/ROP), improving simple warehouse layouts and flows, distribution planning (routes, schedules, delivery consolidation), and assistance in implementing tools (stock cards/Excel/Google Sheet). The outputs include inventory and distribution SOPs, recording templates, indicator dashboards, and implementation trials on participating MSMEs. The targeted results are increased stock accuracy, reduced stockouts, and distribution cost efficiency.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) program aims to improve the competitiveness of micro-enterprises by strengthening innovation management capabilities in three key areas: product, pricing, and distribution. Partners' common challenges include under-differentiated products, inconsistent quality and packaging, pricing that is not yet cost-based (COGS) and value-based, and distribution that is still limited to local channels. The program is implemented through baseline assessments, practice-based training (workshops), business clinics, innovation trials (rapid testing), and mentoring for the implementation of a 30–60-day action plan. Outputs include a product innovation portfolio (variants/packaging/quality standards), COGS and pricing strategy worksheets, distribution channel maps and order fulfillment SOPs, and a simple KPI dashboard. Targeted outcomes are increased sales, improved margins, expanded distribution channels, and enhanced customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This article examines the role of leadership in the adoption of new technologies in manufacturing firms, particularly in the context of digital transformation driven by artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and automation. The study aims to explain how leadership affects the success of technology implementation, identify challenges related to human and organizational factors, and review effective leadership strategies for integrating technological innovation into company operations. The research method is a literature study combined with qualitative and quantitative analysis by synthesizing various sources, including market reports, case studies, and academic research. The findings indicate that visionary and transformational leadership significantly improves employee acceptance through clear communication, the building of an innovation culture, intensive training, and effective change management. Nevertheless, adoption success is also influenced by barriers such as limited internal expertise, resistance to change, difficulties integrating legacy systems, and the need to prioritize data security. The article recommends strategies including active employee involvement, continuous training, planned system integration, strengthening digital infrastructure, and developing digital leadership to ensure that transformation is effective and sustainable.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to improve the effectiveness of public services through business process redesign at partner government agencies. Common problems encountered include long and repetitive service flows, non-standard requirements, high queues, uncertain completion times, and a lack of traceability of service status. The program is implemented through as-is process mapping, cycle time and bottleneck measurement, root cause analysis, to-be process design (step simplification, reduced handoffs, document standardization, and role refinement), SOP and SLA development, and implementation training and trial assistance. The main outputs are new process maps, service SOPs, SLAs/service time standards, forms/checklists, and service performance indicators. Improvements are targeted at reducing service times, increasing service certainty, and increasing user satisfaction.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to improve the efficiency of administrative services for parents of students in public elementary schools through redesigning the main service processes (e.g., registration/re-registration, committee payments/contributions, processing of certificates, report card collection, transfer applications, and complaints). Common problems encountered were long waiting times during peak hours, inconsistent requirements information, repeated form completion, multiple approval flows, and difficult-to-track document archives. Interventions were carried out by mapping the as-is process, measuring service time, identifying waste, designing the to-be process (simplifying steps, standardizing forms, communication channels, and scheduling services), developing SOPs and document templates, and conducting implementation trials. Evaluation was carried out by comparing the KPIs before and after: waiting time, processing time, number of steps, error/rework rate, and parent satisfaction. The outputs were a new process map, service SOPs, a standardized form package, and a simple monitoring dashboard for sustainability.

Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) activity aims to improve leadership capacity in village governance through Human Resource Management (HRM) training. Partners' problems generally include non-competency-based task allocation, ineffective cross-functional coordination, weak discipline and performance standards, and minimal feedback and coaching mechanisms. The program is implemented through needs assessments, core training (public service leadership, communication, division of labor, simple KPIs, coaching), preparation of HRM governance tools (job desks, coordination SOPs, competency matrices, performance evaluation formats), and implementation assistance. Results show an increase in participants' understanding and managerial skills, the preparation of HRM governance documents for villages, and the existence of follow-up plans for improving service performance.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve the efficiency of village administration processes through the implementation of an integrated Document Management System (DMS). The main problems faced by partners include long file searches, document duplication, non-standard storage, the risk of archive loss/damage, and undocumented disposition flows. The implemented solutions include process mapping, the development of archiving SOPs, the establishment of document classification structures, the digitization of priority documents, and training on DMS use and access governance. The results of the activity showed improvements in document retrieval times, archive tidiness, and document traceability, along with increased capacity of village officials in standardized document management.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to improve the performance of urban village public services through the implementation of an integrated Balanced Scorecard (BSC) as a performance management system that translates the vision and mission into strategic objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), service targets, and periodic monitoring and evaluation mechanisms. Problems faced by partners include variations in service times, service standards that are not yet uniform among officers, inconsistent process documentation, and performance reporting that is not yet indicator-based. Interventions are carried out through measuring service baselines, developing strategy maps, formulating KPIs and SLAs, preparing SOPs and file checklists, developing performance dashboards (Excel/Google Sheet), and assisting with monthly performance review meetings. The expected results are reduced waiting times and service completion times, increased SOP compliance, increased citizen satisfaction, and the formation of a culture of continuous improvement in the urban village.
