Abstract

Older women are at twice the risk of developing Alzheimer's Disease than men. This happens because when women experience menopause, estrogen in the body will decrease. Estrogen is a hormone that can influence and help regulate body functions including the reproductive system, brain and central nervous system, bones, liver and urinary tract. Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) is intended to increase estrogen levels in postmenopausal women. One of the food ingredients that contain phytoestrogens and is widely consumed in Indonesia is tempe. The aim of the study was to make a tempe-based drink containing isoflavones (genestein, daidzein, glycetin) and nutrients (vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, folate) that are appropriate and sensory acceptable. The content of isoflavones and nutrients was analyzed using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). Tempe flour which has been analyzed for its nutritional content and isoflavones, then a tempe drink formulation is made with isoflavones content, namely 15 milli grams (30 grams of tempe flour). To improve the flavor of the drink, add cocoa powder. The design used was a completely randomized design (CRD) with a single treatment, namely the concentration level of tempe flour for formula 1 (original tempe) = 17.5%, formula 2 (original tempe) = 14% and formula 3 (tempe with added chocolate as flavor). = 14 %. Acceptance of tempeh-based drinks was carried out by organoleptic tests in the form of hedogenic (liking) tests on 30 elderly women. In the first phase of the research that for color, taste, aroma and thickness the most preferred was the third formula with the addition of chocolate and 14% thickness. The conclusion is that tempe flour using the freeze dry method contains isoflavones and nutrients (vitamin B3, vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid) higher than tempe using the oven method but not significantly. Hedogenic test (favorability test) is the highest with a 14% viscosity formula and there is the addition of chocolate Keywords: tempe, elderly women, organoleptic test

Abstract

Globalization has a big impact on the development of the business world and opportunities for institutions engaged in services. Hospitals are required to find new marketing ideas/strategies in maintaining their existence and improving the quality of services for the creation of patient satisfaction. The lack of promotion of superior hospital products (50%) and the low results of patient satisfaction surveys for services (30%) indicate the need to improve aspects of the marketing mix at Unisma Hospital in Malang. This study aims to analyze public perceptions of the marketing mix (7P) in service satisfaction at Unisma Malang Hospital. This study is in the form of a survey (cross sectional study approach) with 85 respondents selected using the accidental sampling method. The data collection method was carried out through interviews and using a service satisfaction questionnaire containing a marketing mix (7P) component. The results showed that of the 7 aspects of marketing mix there were 2 dominant aspects and there was a need for improvement, namely the promotion aspect where 41 chose the lack of activities made by RSI Unisma as the promotion of RSI Unisma and the process aspect where as many as 54 chose the lack of speed and accuracy of the service. Therefore, based on these problems, it is necessary to improve the hospital marketing strategy and improve the quality of service. The solution to this problem is to promote activities that are under the auspices of the Nahdlatul Ulama as an effort to promote and review services, processes and procedures. Abstract

Pregnancy-related anxiety is a condition that arises from the subjective experience of unsettling mental tension as a general reaction and the inability to deal with issues or feelings of insecurity that affect pregnant women and are related to the mother's concern for the welfare of herself and her fetus. The pregnant woman's age, education level, and prior pregnancies and deliveries are risk factors that contribute to anxiety in pregnant women. Particularly throughout the third trimester of pregnancy up until delivery, anxiety can strike pregnant women. Pregnant women experience anxiety during this time, including worry about having a healthy baby or worrying about the discomfort they are experiencing. These diseases can raise the risk of bleeding wounds and uterine atony, while also raising the likelihood of preterm birth and low birth weight in babies. This study's main goal was to find out how third-trimester pregnant women at PMB Komang Seni Rahayu, A.Md.Keb related to parity, age, and education. This study is quantitative and cross-sectional in nature. A questionnaire that was distributed to a specified group of respondents was used to collect data using the purposive sampling technique. 32 samples total were used in this study. Both univariate and bivariate data analysis are used in this study. Results of the correlations statistical test (= 0.05). The findings revealed a correlation between parity, age, and education with the degree of anxiety associated with giving birth in third-trimester pregnant women at PMB Komang Seni Rahayu, A.Md.Keb, with a significance of p = 0.139 at parity, age with p = 0.005, and level of education with 0.628. Abstract

The COVID-19 has become a devastating occurrence and an urgent intervention for public health in Indonesia. Until the beginning of 2021, Indonesia has the highest number of healthcare workers deaths in Asia and fifth in the world. One of the reasons that resulted in a high number of deaths is due to the lack of personal protective equipment (PPE) to be worn in high-risk environments. Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is one of the most advanced protective equipment and recommended by many countries for their healthcare workers in handling COVID-19 pandemic. This research is conducted to predict Indonesian physicians’ intention to use PAPR as advanced PPE using the Health Belief Model. This research is a correlational study and a quantitative research using statistical tests in processing the data collected from online questionnaires. The findings collected from 163 respondents demonstrated that physicians in Indonesia have the intention to use PAPR as advanced PPE against COVID-19 based on their knowledge, perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, and perceived benefits of using PAPR. Perceived barriers do not have a significant influence towards physicians’ intention to use. The impact of knowledge to intention to use mediated by perceived benefits has the strongest correlation. This empirical model has moderate predictive accuracy with medium predictive relevance, therefore it could be developed and tested on an extended population. There are few managerial implications that could be recommended for hospital managers, public health administrators, and medical device suppliers to encourage physicians’ behavior. Several recommendations are given for further research development.
