Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat media pembelajaran pengisian baterai menggunakan tenaga matahari, mengetahui kelayakan serta mengetahui respons mahasiswa terhadap media pembelajaran pengisian baterai menggunakan tenaga matahari pada mata kuliah Teknologi Kendaraan Listrik di program studi S1 Pendidikan Teknologi Otomotif Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian R&D (research and development) dengan menggunakan tahapan ADDIE. yaitu: 1) Analysis (analisis) 2) Design ( desain) 3) Development (pengembangan) 4) Implementation (implementasi/eksekusi) dan 5) Evaluation (evaluasi/). Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket. Angket tersebut digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data, berupa data kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 7 mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknologi Otomotif, Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian: 1) Berdasar uji teknis komponen-komponen pada media pembelajaran dari hasil pengujian dan pengamatan menunjukkan bahwa komponen sistem pengisian baterai menggunakan tenaga matahari ini sudah bekerja sesuai dengan yang diharapkan. 2) Hasil uji validasi dari ahli media memperoleh hasil persentase 78,6% termasuk kualifikasi layak. 3) Hasil responden mahasiswa sebesar 84% dengan kategori sangat baik. Abstract

Kegiatan pembelajaran khususnya praktik di SMK saat ini harus mampu membekali siswa, yaitu menyiapkan siswa untuk bekerja, menjadi karyawan, dan menjadi wirausahawan. Proses pemberian bekal dirasa perlu adanya keselarasannya dengan dunia kerja khususnya terkait budaya kerja. Faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap pembiasaan penerapan budaya kerja di SMK sangat banyak, tetapi budaya kerja 5K harus segera ditanggapi. Budaya kerja 5K berasal dari Seiri (Ketelitian), Seiton (Kerapian), Seiso (Kebersihan), Seiketsu (Kesegaran), dan Shitsuke (Kedisiplinan) (Takashi Osada, 1995). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui penerapan budaya kerja 5K di pembelajaran praktik khususnya di bengkel Teknik Kendaraan Ringan SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara terstruktur. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 dengan partisipan berasal dari guru mata pelajaran, kepala bengkel, ketua Bursa Kerja Khusus, dan Wakil Kepala Sekolah Bidang Hubungan Masyarakat dan Industri. Dari data hasil wawancara yang didapatkan oleh peneliti bahwa penerapan budaya kerja 5K di pembelajaran praktik belum sepenuhnya terlaksana dengan baik dan masih diperlukan upaya peningkatan. Upaya tersebut terkait bentuk penerapan, pemahaman tentang budaya kerja 5K melalui materi ajar, metode penerapan, pelaku atau subyek pelaksana, dan upaya-upaya penerapan yang bukan hanya di pembelajaran praktik namun di kehidupan sehari-hari baik di sekolah maupun di rumah. Abstract

Kesiapan belajar mandiri merupakan faktor penting dalam pembelajaran orang dewasa khususnya dalam konteks pembelajaran daring. Mahasiswa dengan tingkat kesiapan belajar mandiri yang baik dapat memaksimalkan capaian pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan belajar mandiri mahasiswa kejuruan teknik mesin. Hal ini perlu untuk dilakukan mengingat pentingnya kesiapan belajar mandiri bagi orang dewasa dan konteks pembelajaran daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian deskriptif-eksploratori. Teknik sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling kepada mahasiswa dengan populasi sebanyak 785. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 167 mahasiswa dari tiga program studi. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa dari hasil analisis telah terbentuk 4 faktor yang mempengaruhi kesiapan belajar mahasiswa kejuruan teknik mesin. Keempat faktor tersebut yaitu: 1) kecakapan pembelajaran daring; 2) kecakapan mengelola waktu; 3) kecakapan teknis; dan 4) kecakapan mengikuti seminar. Keempat faktor tersebut berpengaruh kuat dengan menjelaskan 58.9% variasi.   Kata kunci: kesiapan belajar mandiri, mahasiswa kejuruan teknik mesin, pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

This research is a type of correlational research. This research was conducted at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Patuk Gunungkidul. The purpose was used to see what the implementation of BK/BP was like in the TBSM department, as well as to see how high the relationship between guidance & counseling, and discipline in the TBSM department. Only 120 students majoring in motorcycle engineering and business were the research subjects. Data on the implementation of BK/BP on student discipline was collected through questionnaires, data collection on the implementation of BK/BP programs using documents and pictures of students who do not obey school rules. Research hypothesis questions were answered using product moment correlation analysis. The results of the study explained that guidance and counseling are well implemented at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Patuk, and showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between guidance & counseling services and student behavior discipline. An r value of 0.351 (p = 0.05) was found through correlation calculations, indicating a weak positive relationship. A positive relationship means student discipline will increase as guidance and counseling services increase, and vice versa. It can be concluded that guidance and counseling services can improve student discipline. To make the research findings more generalizable, it is suggested that future studies with similar titles do so by testing a larger sample. Keywords: Guidance and Counseling, Discipline, Relationship

Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the level of student satisfaction with the application of the project-based learning (PBL) model in the 2D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) course. The research method used is a survey and data analysis involving students who take 2D CAD courses and are involved in project-based learning. This research includes collecting data from students through a questionnaire specifically designed to assess student perceptions of the PBL learning model, level of involvement in project activities, understanding of the material, and overall level of satisfaction. The data was then analyzed quantitatively to evaluate the level of student satisfaction with PBL in the 2D CAD course. The results of this research showed that the level of student satisfaction with project based learning in CAD courses reached a maximum average score of 68% in the satisfaction category, this states that students were satisfied with learning project based learning in 2D CAD courses. This research provides insight into the effectiveness of the Project Based Learning learning model in increasing student satisfaction in 2D CAD courses, which can be used to optimize teaching methods in the future. Abstract

Research on the development of Honda Grand engine cutting learning media as a multi-competency learning media aims to design and determine the feasibility of engine cutting learning media as a tool for student understanding in multi-competency learning activities in subjects 1) Automotive basics 2) Motor gasoline 3) motorcycle. This study uses the Research and Development research method to develop and test products to be developed, the results of this study indicate the average percentage of validation of Honda grand engine cutting learning media as a multi-competency learning media from functional and feasibility tests by media expert lecturers and material experts is 76% based on the feasibility category table, the validation results are included in the feasible category and based on the results of functional tests by students, namely obtaining an average percentage of 88.2% including in the very feasible category.  Thus, based on the results of the percentage of feasibility scores obtained above, it can be said that the Honda grand engine cutting learning media as a multi-competency learning media is feasible to use and develop.   Keywords: development, engine cutting Honda Grand, R&D.

Abstract

Research on the development of washer wiper system learning media aims to increase students' understanding in practical learning activities for body electrical systems in the automotive electricity course at the Automotive Technology Vocational Education Program at PGRI Yogyakarta University. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. This model has 5 development stages, namely: 1) Analysis (analysis) 2) Design (design) 3) Development (development) 4) Implementation (implementation) and 5) Evaluation (evaluation). Feasibility and functional testing of the washer wiper system learning media was carried out in the automotive technology vocational education laboratory by media expert lecturers and material experts. The results of these tests were that the washer wiper system learning media developed could be used as a learning medium in automotive electrical courses. The average score of media expert lecturers is 88% and material expert lecturers is 88%, the washer wiper system learning media is suitable and good to use as a learning medium. The results of the trial with 30 question points that were taken, as many as 91% of students stated that the washer wiper system learning media was suitable and good as a learning media for automotive electrical systems. The results of students' practical tests using the washer wiper system learning media received an average score of 82.86 in the good category so that the washer wiper learning media can improve students' understanding.   Key words: development, learning media, automotive electricity, washer wiper

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang pengembangan model asesmen dan teknik perhitungan yang di lakukan terhadap ketercapaian CPL. Pelaksanaan Kurikulum Outcome Base Education (OBE) telah di terapkan di berbagai perguruan tinggi, termasuk pada Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasi Teknik Mesin. Seiring dengan pelaksanaannya diiringi dengan model pengukuran yang dapat mengetahui keterlaksanaan kurikulum tersebut sampai sejauh mana dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang berkualitas. Pengembangan model asesmen adalah salah satu cara untuk mengukur dan menghitung ketercaapaian CPL di Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasi Teknik Mesin. Model pengembangan asesmen harus di lihat dari hasil tracer studi kepada lulusan yang baru saju lulus dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Hasil Tracer Studi tersebut dapat di pergunakan untuk memperbaiki proses pelaksanaan Kurikulum Outcome Base Education sehingga produk atau lulusan telah sesuai dengan profil lulusan yang telah di tetapkan. Proses asesmen dilakukan secara terus menerus agar supaya ada perbaikan secara berkelanjutan, yang dalam hal ini sering kita sebut sebagai countinues Improvement dari proses aplakisi Kurikulum Outcame Base Edukasstion (OBE). Selain perbaikan juga di lakukan peningkatan lulusan sesuai dengan kebutuhan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Indistri (DUDI). Untuk Kurikulum Outcome Base Educatian di pergunakan juga untuk membantu mengukur kesesuaian kompetensi lulusan yang nantinya dapat di terapkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Vokasi Teknik Mesin. Abstract

This study aims to determine: The Effect of Video Tutorials on Motorcycle Engine Maintenance Skills of Class X Students at SMK Muhammadiyah Bawang. This study uses a Quasi Experimental Design research method with a nonequivalent control group design approach. The subjects of this study were 50 class X students of Motorcycle Engineering and Business Expertise Competence at SMK Muhammadiyah Bawang. Data collection used a practice assessment sheet. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis by calculating the mean (Me), median (Md), mode (Mo), standard deviation and percentage. The data collection technique used pretest and post-test. The results showed that before being given treatment, the control group and the experimental group showed a lack of skills in motorcycle maintenance. However, after being given treatment, both groups showed an increase in skills in motorcycle maintenance. The increase was reviewed from the comparison of post-test values. In the control group, the increase occurred by 12% while the experimental group increased by 28.95%. After the application of learning with video tutorials and conventional learning, there was a difference in values ​​with a percentage of 3.5%. This shows that video tutorials influence motorcycle engine maintenance skills. Keywords: Video Tutorials, Skills, Motorcycle Engine Maintenance.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a portfolio assessment instrument based on the Indonesian National Qualifications Framework (KKNI) and the National Higher Education Standards (SN-DIKTI) to support the implementation of the Merdeka Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) program in the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) curriculum. The research subject is the Mechanical Engineering Vocational Education (PVTM) study program at IVET University. The research method uses the 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), which consists of the stages of needs definition, instrument design, validation, and development. The developed instrument was designed in a five-level Likert scale format, covering three main aspects: cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The results of validation by experts showed a high level of validity with an average score of 0.85 (very valid). Testing was conducted in the Research Methods course involving 30 students, resulting in an average portfolio assessment score of 78.5 (good). Feedback from lecturers showed that this instrument increased the accuracy of the assessment, while students found the instrument easy to understand and use.
