Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work environment and leadership on work engagement of employees at PT. Prima Asia Satya in Medan. The population in this study were all employees of PT. Prima Asia Satya in Medan with a sample of 88 respondents selected by purposive sampling. The data analysis methods used are validity test, reliability test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results show that the work environment and leadership have a positive and significant influence on the work engagement of employees at PT. Prima Asia Satya in Medan. This means that the better the work environment and leadership, the higher the work engagement of employees. This study provides implications for the management of PT. Prima Asia Satya in Medan to increase employee work engagement through improving the work environment and enhancing the leadership abilities of managers. This study can also be used as a reference for further research related to work engagement.

Abstract

One of the problems that laundry entrepreneurs cannot avoid is the inefficient use of washing materials and equipment, causing them to run out quickly. Yuli Laundry has not used the EOQ method in running a business and still uses the manual method by recording the required inventory raw materials. Based on these problems, the researcher is interested in conducting a study entitled “Application of EOQ and JIT Methods in Raw Material Inventory Control at Umkm Yuli Laundry Services”. This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the inventory control of Laundry raw materials and to find out the comparison between the total inventory of Laundry raw materials using the Yuli Laundry policy using the EOQ and JIT methods. The data is in the form of field observations and interviews that provide information both in writing and orally regarding the calculation of the production costs of UMKM Yuli Laundry. The Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method results in a cost of Rp 614,500 for detergent raw materials, with savings of 83.1%. While the Just In Time (JIT) method resulted in a cost of Rp 1,267,547.36 with a production cost savings of 65.4%. After comparing inventory costs between the company, EOQ, and JIT methods, the authors recommend choosing the EOQ method because the total inventory cost of Rp 614,500 is lower than the company and JIT methods.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to examine how profitability, liquidity, and solvency affect the value of technology businesses that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2021–2022 timeframe. This research is quantitative research using secondary data. The population in this research is all financial data of technology companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2021-2022 period, totaling 21 companies. The sample selection used purposive sampling so that 88 samples were obtained, namely 11 companies with a quarter period of two years. The analytical tools used are descriptive analysis methods, quantitative analysis, including classical assumption tests, hypothesis tests, coefficient of determination (R2), and regression analysis. The research results explain that profitability has a significant negative effect on company value, liquidity and solvency have no effect on company value

Abstract

Fast food companies have gained a lot of popularity in Indonesia in recent years. Fast food restaurants have become a popular choice among the public, because of their convenience and speed in meeting needs. One of them is Richeese Factory which continues to grow and is increasingly popular in various major cities in Indonesia. One of them is in Majalengka district. This study aims to determine the effect of product quality, service quality and price perception on purchasing decisions at Richeese Factory Majalengka. This study is a quantitative study using a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method. The data collection technique uses a survey technique of 108 respondents. Data analysis in this study uses a testing tool, namely SPSS Software Version 25.0. The results of this study show that there are indicators that greatly influence the variables of product quality, service quality and price perception on purchasing decisions, namely appearance, product innovation, guarantees, physical evidence, and price suitability with product quality. In conclusion, the variables of product quality, service quality and price perception have a simultaneous effect on purchasing decisions at Richeese Factory Majalengka

Abstract

Takoyabox, a rapidly growing takoyaki franchise in Indonesia, is renowned for its high-quality and delicious Japanese-style octopus balls. This study aims to optimize Takoyabox's production process using the Simplex Linear Programming method with POM-QM software. The primary objective is to determine the optimal production quantity for each product to maximize profit and minimize costs. Data was collected qualitatively through in-depth interviews and direct observations at the Takoyabox store on Panglima Aim Street, Pontianak, owned by Mr. Kevin Wijaya. Both primary and secondary data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis and linear programming techniques. The results show that applying the Simplex method via POM-QM software can increase Takoyabox's profit from Rp 750,000 to Rp 1,012,500, an improvement of Rp 262,500. This demonstrates the effectiveness of POM-QM software in enhancing production efficiency and achieving optimal business outcomes. Further recommendations include continuous application of linear programming techniques for ongoing optimization and exploring additional software tools to support decision-making processes.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether organizational culture, jobsatisfaction and work engagement have a positive and significant influence on employeeperformance. The research method used is a quantitative research method. Thepopulation in this study was all employees of Lancang Kuning Hospital, Pekanbaru,totaling 102 people. Data obtained from distributing questionnaires were analyzedusing multiple regression analysis to test the hypothesis. The results of this researchshow that organizational culture has a positive effect on employee performance, jobsatisfaction has a positive effect on employee performance, and work engagement has apositive effect on employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to test and analyze the magnitude of the influence generated by CR, DAR, and TATO on profit growth in Coal Mining Companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2023 period. The design in this study is a causal associative research type that uses documentation techniques. This study uses secondary data, namely the Company's financial statements used as samples. The subjects of this study are Coal Mining Companies listed on the IDX in the 2020-2023 period. The samples obtained were 8 companies using a purposive sampling approach with a total observation of 32 data. This research was tested using a multiple linear regression analysis approach with the test tool used by the SPSS program. The research results showed that CR and TATO did not have a significant effect on profit growth and DAR had a significant negative effect on profit growth. While simultaneously CR, DAR, and TATO did not have a significant effect on profit growth in Coal Mining Companies listed on the IDX for the 2020-2023 period.

Abstract

Using a case study at the YPIB Majalengka Nursing Academy, the purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the effect of motivation on the performance of education personnel at Vocational Colleges in Majalengka. This study used 21 saturated samples. Quantitative methods process data from questionnaires before being converted into numerical data using a Likert scale. The results of the work motivation coefficient table show that the t-score value is 2.163> ttable 1.708 and a significant value of 0.040 <0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, indicating that motivation has an effect. The results showed that motivation has a significant impact on the performance of employees of the YPIB Majalengka Nursing Academy. A high level of motivation indicates a need for achievement, which means that high motivation will be essential to improve employee performance at Majalengka Vocational College.

Abstract

This research aims to determine consumer preferences for the attributes of Korean-style T-shirt products which can be used for business development and marketing strategy planning in Korean-style T-shirt businesses. The research method used is a quantitative research method with a conjoint analysis approach. In this study, there are 16 stimuli that will be tested from the results of the orthogonal design. There are 5 attributes that produce this stimulus, namely: (1) Price, (2) Size, (3) Material, (4) Model, and (5) Color. The research results show that the first attribute considered important by consumers is the size attribute with a relative importance value of 32.297%. The second attribute that is considered important by consumers is the color attribute with a relative importance of 26.014%. The third attribute that is considered important by consumers is the material attribute with a relative importance of 20,330%. The fourth attribute that is considered important by consumers is the price attribute with a relative importance value of 10.813%, and the fifth attribute is the model with a relative importance value of 10.519%. This research can be useful for similar businesses in understanding consumer preferences and can be applied to other fashion industries.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the effect of product quality on consumer satisfaction in a cup of Coffee (2) the effect of service quality on consumer satisfaction in a cup of Coffee (3) the effect of product quality and service quality on consumer satisfaction in a cup of Coffee. This study was conducted on a cup of Coffee using quantitative descriptive method. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents coffee cup consumers. Data collection technique is by filling out a questionnaire through google form with some questions, then processed using SPSS 26. The results of the T-test showed that there is no partial influence between product quality and consumer satisfaction and there is a partial influence between the quality of service to consumer satisfaction.
