Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ activeness in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning at SMA Muhammadiyah Bima City using the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The main focus is to obtain in-depth information regarding the level of students’ activeness in the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive-analytical approach. Qualitative research emphasizes the quality and meaning behind phenomena to describe the experiences of individuals or groups through documentation and personal analysis. The results of the study indicate a significant increase in students’ activeness after the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This is reflected in improved cooperation and group cohesion, the increased frequency of students expressing opinions and providing feedback, and their ability to complete tasks assigned by the teacher effectively. In addition, students become more courageous and confident when asking and answering questions. They are no longer hesitant to express their opinions or to provide responses to their peers during presentations. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model can enhance students’ learning activities. This is evident from the improvement in students’ collaborative processes in identifying, formulating, and solving problems in groups, as well as their increased participation in giving opinions and successfully completing assigned tasks.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the group-based learning method (Group Investigation) in improving the active participation of eleventh-grade students in Akidah Akhlak learning at MAN 1 Bima City. The main focus is to obtain in-depth information regarding the implementation of the Group Investigation learning model and its impact on enhancing students’ active participation. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Qualitative research emphasizes the quality and meaning behind phenomena, while the descriptive approach is used to narrate individual or group experiences through documentation and personal analysis. The results show that the implementation of the Group Investigation learning model is carried out through six stages: identifying topics and organizing them into research groups (grouping), planning investigations within groups (planning), conducting investigations (investigating), preparing the final report (organizing), presenting the final report (presenting), and evaluating achievements (evaluating). The implementation of the group-based learning method (Group Investigation) has proven to be highly effective in increasing the active participation of eleventh-grade students in Akidah Akhlak learning at MAN 1 Bima City. Overall, the application of the cooperative Group Investigation model encourages the creation of an interactive learning experience. Students become more confident in participating in discussions, expressing their opinions, and collaborating within groups to complete assigned tasks. Based on the analysis and discussion, it can be concluded that the cooperative learning model of the Group Investigation type provides opportunities for students to act as active learners as well as peer educators within their groups. Open interaction among group members fosters a pattern of cooperation that allows students to share knowledge, strengthen understanding, and enhance social values such as mutual trust, openness, and shared responsibility.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between tax digitalization and tax compliance among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on PRISMA guidelines. This study reviews 15 empirical studies published in SINTA indexed journals during the period 2021-2025. The findings show that tax digitalization generally has a positive impact on MSME tax compliance by improving efficiency, convenience, and transparency in tax administration. However, the results are not fully consistent, as some studies report insignificant or indirect effects, indicating that the relationship is contextual. The effectiveness of tax digitalization is influenced by several key factors, including service and system quality, digital and tax literacy, taxpayer morale, and technological readiness. This study concludes that tax digitalization has strong potential to enhance MSME tax compliance, but its success depends on the readiness of supporting factors. Therefore, policy efforts should focus not only on technological development but also on strengthening user capacity and supporting ecosystems to achieve sustainable compliance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Good Corporate Governance (GCG), capital structure, and firm size on firm value in property and real estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2022–2024 period. This research employs a quantitative approach with an associative method. The sample was determined using purposive sampling, resulting in 35 companies with a total of 105 observations. The data used are secondary data obtained from annual reports and financial statements, which were analyzed using multiple linear regression with IBM SPSS Statistics 25. The results indicate that CSR and capital structure have a positive and significant effect on firm value. Meanwhile, firm size has a negative and significant effect on firm value. GCG variables proxied by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and independent commissioners show no significant effect, while the audit committee has a negative and significant effect on firm value. Simultaneously, all independent variables explain 39.7% of the variation in firm value. These findings suggest that not all corporate governance mechanisms effectively enhance firm value, highlighting the need to optimize GCG implementation and improve CSR quality as well as capital structure management.

Abstract

The development of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum in today's educational context no longer focuses solely on achieving students' cognitive aspects, but also emphasizes strengthening the values of compassion, tolerance, and character building, supported by good educational governance. Most previous research still focused in the learning dimension in implementing the PAI curriculum. Studies that specifically integrated a love-based PAI curriculum with the principles of good governance, especially regarding stakeholder participation and transparency in the educational decision-making process, is still relatively limited. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of the principles of participation and transparency in the development of the Love-Based Islamic Religious Education Curriculum at Islamic Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Kapuas Regency. The study used a qualitative approach with a field research, through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques with madrasah principals and stakeholders at two madrasahs. Data were analyzed through stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions with source triangulation. The results indicates that the application of the principles of participation and transparency in curriculum development takes place through deliberation mechanisms, teacher council forums, and policy socialization to parents of students, while information transparency is supported by reporting learning outcomes through a digital system. Based on the spectrum Arnstein’s Ladder of Citizen Participation, the level of stakeholder participation is at the stage consultation going to partnership, as indicated by the existence of consultation and the expression of aspirations in good governance forums, yet strategic authority still rests with madrasah leaders. This finding indicates that participatory practices have gone beyond the informative stage, but have not yet fully achieved equal power sharing. Another dimension, the effectiveness of curriculum implementation is influenced by limited human resources, the use of technology, and the more evenly distributed teacher readiness within the madrasah environment. This finding emphasizes the importance of strengthening teacher capacity, supporting technology access, and developing participation mechanisms to realize more participatory and transparent madrasah curriculum governance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the optimization of the halal value chain as a strategic instrument in strengthening the Islamic economy within the creative industry sector. The urgency of this research is grounded in the significant potential of the creative industry, which has not yet been fully integrated with halal principles in a comprehensive manner, spanning from upstream to downstream processes, including production, distribution, and marketing. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical design. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and were systematically analyzed to identify the level of halal value chain implementation as well as the factors influencing its effectiveness. The findings indicate that the optimization of the halal value chain plays a significant role in enhancing the competitiveness of the sharia-based creative industry, particularly in ensuring product halalness, strengthening consumer trust, and expanding market access. However, its implementation still faces several challenges, including limited halal literacy among business actors, suboptimal halal certification processes, and weak integration of the supporting ecosystem. Therefore, multi-stakeholder synergy among business actors, government, and related institutions is essential in strengthening regulations, improving literacy, and facilitating halal certification. This study is expected to contribute both academically and practically to the development of the Islamic economy through the sustainable strengthening of the halal value chain in the creative industry sector.
