El-Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a scientific journal about community service programs and activities as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Abstract

This study uses Robert N. Entman's framing model analysis method to identify how the two online media present information and build narratives about the Hasto Kristiyanto case. The results of the study show that the media Tempo.co (Rizki, PDIP Determination of Hasto Kristiyanto Suspect Politicization of Law, 2024) and Hukumonline.com (Yandhwiputra, Hasto Kristiyanto Becomes a Suspect, This is the Trace of His Involvement in the Harun Masiku Case, 2024) have differences in the framing used, which reflects the journalistic approach and ideology of each media.

Abstract

This research investigates the dual approach of education management in Kuningan Regency, focusing on the simultaneous implementation of digital transformation initiatives and a mobile phone ban policy in schools. It aims to explore how these seemingly contradictory strategies are managed to enhance educational quality and foster student character in the digital era. The study employs a qualitative case study approach, analyzing policy documents, program reports, and stakeholder perspectives. Findings reveal that while Kuningan actively pursues digital integration through programs like "Sekolahku Keren" and "Sekolah Rujukan Google" to equip students with 21st-century skills and improve administrative efficiency, it concurrently implements a strict mobile phone ban. This ban is justified by concerns over student concentration, character development, and misuse of technology, with reported positive impacts on learning focus and social interaction. The study highlights the nuanced approach of Kuningan's education management, balancing technological advancement with the preservation of traditional learning values and character building. Challenges include digital infrastructure disparities and the need for continuous teacher professional development. This research contributes to understanding holistic education management strategies in developing contexts, offering insights into navigating the complexities of digital transformation while prioritizing student well-being and character.

Abstract

This community empowerment program was developed to analyze UD Duta Sayur's marketing strategy before the packaging update. Before the packaging update, UD Duta Sayur only used simple plastic packaging that was less attractive so that its products could not reach consumers widely. With this program, the team tried to increase the attractiveness of UD Duta Sayur's products so that they could expand the reach of consumers through packaging updates. Packaging updates are carried out by grouping vegetables to be sold, grouping vegetables based on product criteria, for example if the product is vegetables that will be cooked into vegetable soup or capcay, it is adjusted to the needs that will be cooked into capcay or soup vegetables, and other types of vegetables. The implementation method of this program is carried out by first conducting a survey of the location to be empowered, after which the stages for data collection such as interviews along with observation and documentation are carried out. This program resulted in new packaging that is more efficient and can reach more consumers and a wider target market.

Abstract

Socializing the concept of halal tourism is one of the most important things to do, one of which is to provide training on homestay and villa management in accordance with halal standards, namely MUI fatwa Number 108 / DSN-MUI / X / 2016 in Warnasari Village, Pangalengan District, Bandung Regency, West Java Province. The purpose of this activity is to provide training and counseling to lodging service entrepreneurs regarding halal management in the management of Homestays and Villas according to sharia principles. The event was attended by 12 Homestay and Villa entrepreneurs, 10 tourist attractions managers and 25 MSME entrepreneurs around the Situ Cileunca Tourism Area, Warnasari Village. The method of implementing this Community Service (PKM) uses lecture and discussion methods. The activity was carried out for 2 days, namely from June 13 and 14, 2025. As a result of these PKM activities, Homestay and Villa business actors understand and will follow up their business places to immediately apply halal principles to the Homestays and Villas they manage, for the sake of benefit and also as a form of consistency with the vision of halal tourism in West Java Province as a pilot in the application of Halal Tourism in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Al-Ikhlas Tanah Terban, Karang Baru District, which has been gradually introduced amidst the transition from the 2013 Curriculum. The research employs a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews with teachers, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the Merdeka Curriculum provides greater opportunities for teachers and students to engage in contextual, project-based learning tailored to individual student potential. However, its implementation faces several challenges, including limited teacher understanding of the new curriculum, insufficient digital infrastructure, and students' unpreparedness for independent and differentiated learning. The differing approaches between the Merdeka and 2013 Curricula also lead to inconsistencies in assessment systems and teacher task allocations. To address these issues, Madrasah Al-Ikhlas has undertaken various efforts such as internal training, teacher collaboration, and gradual adjustments to teaching materials. The study concludes that the successful implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in private madrasahs heavily depends on strong managerial leadership, equitable curriculum literacy, and sustained adaptability to changes in national education policies.

Abstract

                This study examines change management within the Karang Taruna youth organization in its efforts to develop community-based social entrepreneurship programs. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, the research reveals that the transformation process is carried out in stages through participatory planning, collaborative implementation, and continuous evaluation. The changes occur not only at the program level but also affect the organizational structure and culture, enabling Karang Taruna to evolve from a mere social community into an agent of economic empowerment. The findings indicate that the success of this transformation is influenced by visionary leadership, active member participation, and synergy with external stakeholders. This study highlights the importance of well-planned and inclusive change management in realizing sustainable and impactful social programs.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan akad sukuk mudharabah di Indonesia dan Kuwait sebagai instrumen pembiayaan syariah berbasis kemitraan. Akad mudharabah merupakan bentuk kerja sama antara pemilik dana (shahibul maal) dan pengelola usaha (mudharib) dengan prinsip bagi hasil sesuai nisbah yang disepakati dan tanpa jaminan keuntungan tetap. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka yang mengkaji literatur, fatwa DSN-MUI, serta praktik di lembaga keuangan syariah di kedua negara. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa di Indonesia, sukuk mudharabah sudah mendapatkan payung hukum melalui Fatwa DSN-MUI No. 41/DSN-MUI/IV/2004 dan mulai diterapkan dalam bentuk sukuk korporasi. Namun, pelaksanaannya belum optimal karena masih kalah populer dibanding sukuk ijarah akibat preferensi pasar terhadap imbal hasil yang pasti, rendahnya literasi syariah, serta belum siapnya struktur proyek. Sementara itu, di Kuwait, sukuk mudharabah berkembang lebih matang berkat dukungan kuat institusi keuangan syariah seperti Kuwait Finance House, keterlibatan aktif dewan pengawas syariah, dan transparansi dalam pelaporan usaha, sehingga lebih sesuai dengan prinsip syariah dan menarik bagi investor. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya penguatan sistem pengawasan dan edukasi pasar agar akad mudharabah dapat diimplementasikan secara optimal dan murni dalam semangat keadilan dan berbagi risiko.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of educators and educational management in supporting the quality of education in Elementary Schools. Through the method of literature study, talent management in educational settings, especially Islamic-based research, can have a significant impact on the quality of learning and the formation of student personality. The management process includes planning, procurement, development, promotion, termination, compensation, and appreciation. The results of several schools, such as the excellent CT Foundation of Middle School, SMAN 3 Medan, SMAN 1 Perbaungan, and SMAN 2 Lubuk Pakam, show that the quality of educators is highly correlated with the use of good management systems, especially those related to the appropriateness in the field of education and the integrity of learning tools. In addition, character education can be achieved optimally only when educators act as examples. This study highlights the importance of the synergistic effect between technical management and character values to support a sustainable national education system.

Abstract

In today's era of digital transformation, the government, particularly Kelurahan Keputih, is aware of the community's need for information regarding the management of kependudukan and non-kependudukan documents. Given their busy lifestyles, residents require a medium to access information related to these matters. This service information is needed to improve bureaucratic efficiency, accelerate information access, and reduce the burden of manual administrative work. Therefore, researchers have developed an AI-based Intelligent Chatbot application using Large Language Modeling (LLM) technology to assist both employees and residents of Kelurahan Keputih in obtaining information related to the management of kependudukan and non-kependudukan services. The implementation of this Chatbot utilizes the Hugging Face library and the LangChain model, one of the Llama models developed by Meta. This Kelurahan Keputih Service Information Chatbot application is named "BambuBot". This application benefits the residents of Keputih by providing them with interactive, comprehensive, and easily accessible information regarding services for managing kependudukan and non-kependudukan documents, as well as platforms for processing these documents.

Abstract

  The degradation of ethics among Indonesia's younger generation has reached an alarming level, reflected in the prevalence of violence, sexual crimes, and the negative influence of social media. Failures in instilling noble values and the weak role of character education within curricula predominantly focused on cognitive aspects underscore the urgent need to revitalize the education system based on classical Islamic scholarship. Two monumental works, Tuḥfatul Aṭhfal and Al-Jazariyyah, frequently cited as primary references in Tajwid (Quranic recitation) studies, contain rich character values that remain underexplored. This study aims to identify the character values embedded within these two texts and evaluate their relevance to contemporary Islamic education. Employing a qualitative research methodology, it utilizes library research and content analysis of the primary texts (Tuḥfatul Aṭhfal and Al-Jazariyyah) along with secondary sources such as commentaries (syarah) and character education literature. The analysis revealed 12 core character values: God-consciousness, humility, respect for teachers, creativity, curiosity, discipline, social concern, patience, justice, continuous development, love of peace, and diligence. These values demonstrate strong relevance to the Ministry of Education and Culture's Character Education Strengthening Program (PPK) and offer solutions to the ongoing character crisis. Integrating these values into the formal curriculum through content integration, innovative teaching methods, and family-school collaboration is believed to be instrumental in shaping a generation possessing noble character and resilience in facing global challenges.
