Abstract

Community service was carried out in Cempaka Putih Hamlet, Punggur Kecil Village, Kubu Raya Regency with the aim of developing an entrepreneurial spirit in children. The main problem raised was the children's lack of knowledge about entrepreneurship, both in terms of concept and practice. Entrepreneurship is not only related to economic aspects, but also trains the ability to innovate, critical thinking, cooperation, and problem-solving skills. The market day program was created to help children understand the concept of entrepreneurship, implemented with an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach that focuses on individual and community development. This program consists of delivering material on the basics of entrepreneurship and direct practice through selling activities. The results of the activity showed that market day had a positive impact on the development of children's creativity, ability to work together, development of skills, critical thinking skills, problem solving, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Children were more enthusiastic, creative and able to cooperate in practicing simple entrepreneurial concepts. This activity not only introduced the concept of entrepreneurship but also became a means to foster an entrepreneurial spirit from an early age.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is one form of student service to the community through practical activities focused on empowerment. One of the reasons for constructing a hydroponic greenhouse in Nanggerang Village is the scarcity of household land and the low utilization of modern agricultural technology. In addition to the greenhouse construction, the KKN Group 15 (Narasaka) team provided simple training on plant cultivation using a basic hydroponic system with recycled plastic bottles to reduce plastic waste. This program aims to offer an efficient, environmentally friendly alternative for farming, as well as enhance the community's knowledge and skills in sustainable agriculture. In this community service activity, the methods used were problem observation, preparation of tools and materials, verbal socialization, and construction. With this program, it is hoped that the community of Nanggerang Village will gain knowledge about hydroponic systems and be able to apply simple hydroponic cultivation at their respective homes, even with limited land. The conclusion from the construction and education efforts is that the limited land available in the community of Nanggerang Village and other areas in Indonesia can be utilized through smart farming methods such as productive and economically valuable hydroponics.

Abstract

Plastic waste is an increasingly urgent environmental problem because it is difficult to decompose naturally and its amount continues to increase. This study aims to examine the transformation of plastic waste into ecobricks as a modern effort to preserve the environment, while also examining its social and economic benefits. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with the location in Pakuan Village, Narmada District, West Lombok. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analysed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that ecobricks were able to reduce the volume of household plastic waste that was previously scattered or burned. Community participation, especially among young people and children, is an important factor in the success of this programme because it encourages the growth of collective awareness. In addition, ecobricks have social benefits in the form of strengthening togetherness through mutual cooperation, as well as economic benefits as an alternative material that reduces the cost of simple construction. Thus, ecobricks are worthy of being developed as a sustainable solution in plastic waste management.

Abstract

The rapid growth of social media in the last five years has transformed the landscape of political communication and significantly influenced how public opinion toward political leaders is formed. Platforms such as TikTok, Instagram, and X (Twitter) have become key arenas for shaping political perception through visual narratives, short-form videos, and direct engagement between leaders and citizens. Recent studies highlight that algorithmic curation plays a crucial role in selectively amplifying certain political messages, which consequently affects how users construct their political judgments. Furthermore, users’ trust in the credibility of digital sources and the level of audience engagement have been shown to strongly determine the legitimacy and public support received by political leaders. This literature-based study synthesizes findings from recent international journals to explain how social media functions not only as a space for information dissemination but also as a strategic instrument for opinion formation and image construction in the political sphere.

Abstract

Over the past two decades, Indonesia’s economy has experienced complex dynamics, with Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) serving as the backbone of the national economy. However, amid the rapid pace of digitalization, many MSME actors still face significant challenges in adapting to modern technology and branding strategies. This research and community service activity aims to analyze the urgency of enhancing MSME branding strategies in Rempoa Village through digital literacy and banner design rebranding from the perspective of neoclassical economic theory. The method employed is a collaborative approach through the 2025 Community Service Program (KKN) Group 20 of South Tangerang, involving direct participation of MSME owners in the redesign process of their business banners. This approach focuses on improving digital literacy and implementing visual rebranding as forms of entrepreneurial innovation aligned with the principles of efficiency and human capital investment. The results indicate that improving digital literacy expands market access, increases efficiency, and strengthens entrepreneurs’ adaptability to changing consumer behavior, while banner design rebranding effectively creates product differentiation, enhances business image, and increases visual appeal—positively influencing sales and brand awareness. From a neoclassical perspective, these strategies reflect the application of economic rationality principles in achieving market equilibrium, while Schumpeter’s concept of creative destruction is evident through visual transformation that replaces outdated strategies with modern and innovative approaches. Overall, the collaboration between academics and MSME actors through this KKN program successfully generated tangible impacts in strengthening the local economy, where digital literacy and banner design rebranding serve as concrete steps toward sustainable economic development based on innovation, efficiency, and entrepreneurial independence.
