EduInovasi: Journal of Basic Educational Studies is a journal published in the Study Program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah, the  Islamic Institute of Laa Roiba Bogor. This journal is published twice a year in February and Agust. Furthermore, this journal is published in two versions, namely print and online. The focus of this journal contains articles on research on Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education / Primary / MI / SD Teacher Education, such as competency analysis, learning strategies, learning theory, learning development, educator professionalism, and research results. Reviewers will review any submitted paper. The Journal kindly invites scientists, scholars, professionals, and researchers in the form of the contribution with articles to be published and disseminated through: the selection mechanism of the article, criticized by reviewer, and the editing process. Abstract

This research aims to describe the influence of the CIRC learning model assisted by Big Book teaching aids on the writing skills of class III students at SD Negeri 17 Singkawang. The type of research was quantitative research using the Quasi Experimental method, Posttest Only Nonequivalent Groups Design. The population of this study was all class III students consisting of classes IIIA, IIIB, and IIIC, totaling 86 students. The sample in this study was selected using a purposive sampling technique consisting of class IIIB as the control class and IIIC as the experimental class, each with 28 students. The data collection technique used an essay test technique which contains indicators of writing skills and observation techniques for learning implementation. The data analysis technique used a independent two sample t-test, effect size, and percentage of learning implementation. The results of the research showed that (1) there was differences in the writing skills of third grade elementary school students between classes that use the CIRC model assisted by Big Book teaching aids and classes that use direct learning with the calculation results showing namely 14.068 > 1.674; (2) the CIRC learning model assisted by Big Book teaching aids had a high influence on the writing skills of third grade elementary school students with an effect size calculation result of 2.36; (3) implementation of the CIRC learning model assisted by Big Book teaching aids in learning energy source material with a percentage of 92.71% in very good criteria. Thus, it could be concluded that there was an influence of the CIRC model assisted by Big teaching aids on the writing skills of class III students at SD Negeri 17 Singkawang.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of installing Shark Fin Vortex Generators (SFVG) in a row arrangement on the left and right sides of a passenger bus on the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance. A numerical modeling approach was used to visualize the airflow around the bus and measure key parameters such as drag coefficient (CD), lift coefficient (CL), and pressure coefficient (CP) distribution. Air velocity contour analysis shows that SFVG significantly optimizes airflow around the bus. The bus with SFVG achieved a higher airspeed of 50.23 km/h, while the bus without SFVG only reached 49.83 km/h, indicating a significant reduction in aerodynamic drag. Drag coefficient (CD) analysis shows that the bus with SFVG has a lower CD value of 0.63794782 compared to the bus without SFVG, which has an average value of around 0.70191103. Although the difference is small, it indicates that SFVG has the potential to reduce aerodynamic drag. A difference in lift coefficient (CL) values between the bus with SFVG (around 0.040190537) and the bus without SFVG (around 0.05368355) was also observed, suggesting that SFVG affects the lift force distribution on the bus. Pressure distribution analysis shows that SFVG alters the pressure distribution around the bus. Pressure contours on the bus with SFVG show concentrated pressure at the front of the bus with a peak pressure of about 213.22 Pa, whereas the bus without SFVG shows a higher peak pressure, reaching 465.17 Pa at the same location. This study also evaluates the potential of SFVG to reduce fuel consumption and the environmental impact of public transportation through reduced drag forces. The analysis results indicate that SFVG has the potential to improve energy efficiency and overall aerodynamic performance of the bus. Further research is needed to fully understand the impact of using SFVG in this context.

Abstract

Indonesia's oil reserves and production are steadily declining, accompanied by increasing fossil fuel consumption, particularly in Diesel Power Plants, which contribute to environmental impacts and exacerbate global warming. In response, the government issued a policy in 2028 to implement carbon emission trading for Diesel Power Plants with a capacity below 2 MW, as part of Indonesia's commitment to achieving Net Zero Emission (NZE) by 2060. Considering the significant state assets in the form of diesel-powered generators (approximately 5,200 diesel power plants) still operating throughout Indonesia, the government has also issued policies and strategic plans to develop Biomass Power Plants. This research focuses on examining the combination of biosolar B35 and syngas usage in diesel engines, known as dual fuel engine technology, utilizing abundant palm shell biomass waste in Southeast Sulawesi. The gasification process to create syngas uses a multi-stage downdraft gasifier system with the optimal air ratio variation from previous research, namely 1:7:2 in the pyrolysis, oxidation, and reduction zones. Testing is conducted on a diesel engine at 3000 rpm with load variations ranging from 500 Watt to 4500 Watt. The load is gradually increased at 500-Watt intervals. The syngas mass flow rate is also varied by adjusting four different syngas valve openings to the diesel engine's intake manifold. This study will compare the results of diesel engine operation using single fuel (biosolar B35) with dual fuel (biosolar B35 + syngas) at each engine load interval to determine engine performance, biosolar B35 fuel substitution or savings, carbon reduction in the dual fuel diesel system, and calculate the techno-economics for up-scaling on a 250 kW capacity engine at PT Nusantara Power, Unit Pembangkitan Kendari, ULPLTD Kolaka, Southeast Sulawesi. The aim is to support government programs and policies in realizing environmentally friendly and sustainable Diesel Power Plants, as well as to open opportunities for developing biomass-based dual fuel engine technology in Indonesia.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze the quality of class-based instruments in the domains of knowledge, attitudes and skills to measure scientific literacy competency. This research uses a limited ADDIE research design consisting of Analyze, Design and Development stages. Data was collected using test and questionnaire methods. This research was tested on 30 Unesa Physics Education Study Program students. Theoretical validity results show that the assessment instrument prepared meets the valid category. The theoretical validity results were obtained from validation by 3 expert validators, namely 2 Unesa Physics Education lecturers and 1 MBI Amanatul Ummah Pacet Mojokerto teacher. Empirical validity was obtained from testing the assessment instrument on 30 active Unesa Physics Education students with a total of 15 questions. Then, the question item was declared valid with an rcount of 0.922 and an rtable of 0.361.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to ascertain how the use of Wordwall media by class V students at SDN Balekambang 01 Pagi affects their motivation to pursue Pancasila education. This is a quasi-experimental, quantitative study with a posttest-only control design. For the study, a sample of sixty fifth graders was used. They were divided into two groups: the experimental group used Wordwall, and the control group did not. A questionnaire is used to collect data on students' enthusiasm in learning. The results of the data analysis show that the grade 5 students at SDN Balekambang 01 Pagi's interest for learning about Pancasila Education is greatly impacted by their consumption of Wordwall media. The effect size test demonstrates a modest effect (0.494) and the t test results show that the t value is larger than the t table (2.158 > 2.002). These results provide empirical evidence that Wordwall is a useful tool for stimulating students' interest in Pancasila Education courses.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the content of the Dirty Vote film circulating on TikTok Social Media influences public perception of the election process and the results of the 2024 Election. The film "Dirty Vote" is a 1 hour 57 minute political film depicting allegations of fraud in the presidential election process in a fictional country. The research method used in this article is a qualitative approach by conducting content analysis of comments and responses from the public on TikTok social media related to the film "Dirty Vote". The results of the study show that this film succeeded in creating significant buzz and discussion on the platform. Many TikTok users expressed their opinions on the issue of fraud in the 2024 Presidential Election and shared the film with their followers. This shows that TikTok social media can be an effective tool for disseminating political information and influencing public opinion. In conclusion, the film "Dirty Vote" on TikTok social media has a significant influence on public perceptions to the issue of fraud in the 2024 Presidential Election.

Abstract

The Ki Gede Sebayu folktale was one of the most renowned stories from Tegal and one of the founding figures of Tegal city. This study aimed to examine the depiction of nationalism and religiosity values in Ki Gede Sebayu folklore through three main aspects: infrastructure development, the role of religion, and community capacity building. A descriptive-qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through literature study and directed observation and analyzed using Levi-Strauss structuralism theory. The results indicate that the folklore of Ki Gede Sebayu reflected a number of values associated with nationalism, including love for the country, togetherness, mutual cooperation, courage, sacrifice, social justice, loyalty to the country, and exemplary leadership. Additionally, the value of religiosity is reflected through the spread of Islamic propagation as well as the construction of mosques and Islamic boarding schools. The conclusion of the Ki Gede Sebayu folklore was that it reflects the values of nationalism and religiosity. As a result, it was an important source of inspiration in the construction of the unity and pride of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

In this study, evaluating the effects of the use of vortex's shark fin generator (SFVG) on passenger buses' aerodynamics used numerical analysis. Studies show that buses with SFVGS show a slightly lower maximum rate (896.94 m/s) than buses with no SFVG (933.61 c.e. /s), indicating that SFVG does not have an effect on increased air speed. The coefficient analysis of drag (CD) shows a significant decline on buses with SFVG (CD averages about 0.6165738) compared to buses without SFVGS (CD around 0.72478044), signifying a reduction in drag style. Although SFVG increases the elevator coeffluent (cl) on a bus (cl approximately 0.018557634), this increase is small and affects the stability of vehicles. The pressure on the front of the bus with SFVG (204.13 pa) is slightly lower than a busload (209.16 pa), with a potential effect on the lift and stability of the entire bus. Studies highlight the need for further optimization to achieve the balance between the aerodynamic efficiency and the stability of vehicles, and the need for advanced research to understand the overall effect of the SFVG on the energy efficiency and aerodynamic performance of buses.

Abstract

Batak Pakpak regional culture is an integral part of the richness of Indonesian culture spread across the Sumatra region. Geographically, the Pakpak Batak tribe inhabits the high hilly areas around the North Tapanuli area. Their culture encompasses various aspects, including language, customs, traditional arts, music, dance, and unique beliefs and value systems. The customs of the Pakpak Batak tribe are very strong in everyday life, with norms that regulate various aspects of social, economic and religious life. Traditional arts such as carving, weaving and stone carving are deep cultural expressions and have high value for the Pakpak people. Apart from that, traditional Batak Pakpak music and dances, such as gondang sabangunan and tortor, are important media in traditional ceremonies and cultural festivals. They are also known for their beliefs and value systems that value living in harmony with nature and the continuity of generations. This research aims to dig deeper into the cultural diversity of the Batak Pakpak in Sumatra and understand the role and cultural values in strengthening their identity. Through this analysis, it is hoped that it can provide a more comprehensive picture of this cultural richness and its implications in the context of Indonesia's cultural diversity.

Abstract

Adolescent reproductive health is a crucial aspect in the development of the quality of life for young generations. This community service activity aims to evaluate the effectiveness of low-impact exercise in improving reproductive health among students of SMAN 7 Malang. The method used is a participatory approach with low-impact exercise training conducted over 12 weeks. A total of 120 randomly selected students participated in this program. Reproductive health data were collected through questionnaires before and after the intervention, covering aspects such as knowledge of reproductive health, healthy living habits, and the frequency of reproductive health symptoms. Evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' reproductive health scores after participating in the low-impact exercise program. The conclusion of this activity indicates that low-impact exercise can be an effective method in school reproductive health education programs. It is hoped that this program can be implemented routinely and become part of the physical education curriculum to improve adolescent reproductive health.
