Abstract

This study examines a quality-based human resource performance development model in private higher education, with a specific case study at Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang. The research is grounded in the growing need for private universities to strengthen human resource performance to enhance academic quality, institutional competitiveness, and stakeholder trust. The objective of this study is to analyze the design, implementation, and effectiveness of a quality-oriented performance development model for academic staff. A qualitative case study approach was employed, using data collection methods that included in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis involving university leaders, human resource managers, and lecturers. The findings reveal that a quality-based performance development model is built upon competency standards, continuous professional development programs, measurable performance indicators, and integrated quality assurance mechanisms. Key supporting factors include leadership commitment, structured evaluation systems, and training aligned with institutional quality targets. The model contributes to improvements in teaching effectiveness, research productivity, and academic service. The study concludes that integrating quality assurance principles into human resource performance development provides a sustainable framework for strengthening lecturer performance in private higher education institutions.

Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) plays a strategic role in improving lecturer performance at private higher education institutions, particularly in facing increasing competition, quality assurance demands, and rapid changes in the educational environment. This study aims to analyze HRM strategies and their impact on lecturer performance, including aspects of recruitment, training and development, performance appraisal, compensation, and motivation systems. The research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis at selected private higher education institutions. The findings indicate that effective HRM practices especially continuous professional development, transparent performance evaluation, and merit-based reward systems significantly contribute to enhancing lecturer productivity, teaching quality, research output, and community service engagement. Institutional leadership support and organizational culture are also found to be critical factors in strengthening HRM implementation. The study concludes that integrated and quality-oriented HRM systems are essential to sustainably improve lecturer performance and institutional competitiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the story structure of the novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut, the author's criticism of the exploitation of nature in the novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut, and its relevance as a literary teaching material in high school. The data collection method in this study uses documentation, observation, and interviews. The analysis technique used is a qualitative descriptive analysis technique. The results of this study are three: (1) the story structure of the novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut by Dian Purnomo which consists of story facts, themes, literary devices, (2) the author's criticism of the exploitation of nature in the novel Perempuan yang Menunggu di Lorong Menuju Laut by Dian Purnomo which is expressed through the thoughts, attitudes, and behavior of the characters, and (3) its relevance as a literary teaching material in high school which is reviewed for relevance, consistency, and adequacy in the teaching material of Writing Good Practices and Stories About the Environment (Short Stories and Novels).

Abstract

Perusahaan manufaktur di Indonesia menghadapi tekanan meningkat untuk memaksimalkan nilai perusahaan sambil menangani isu keberlanjutan di tengah rendahnya tingkat pelaporan ESG. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pengungkapan sustainability report, emisi karbon, dan kinerja lingkungan terhadap nilai perusahaan dengan ukuran perusahaan sebagai variabel moderasi pada perusahaan manufaktur terdaftar di BEI periode 2022-2024. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan regresi linear berganda, populasi meliputi seluruh perusahaan manufaktur di BEI, dengan sampel purposive 33 perusahaan (99 observasi). Data sekunder dari laporan keuangan dan pengungkapan keberlanjutan dianalisis melalui SPSS 27, termasuk uji asumsi klasik, uji t, uji F, dan R². Hasil menunjukkan pengungkapan sustainability report berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (sig=0,000), sedangkan emisi karbon dan kinerja lingkungan tidak signifikan. Ukuran perusahaan memoderasi negatif hubungan sustainability report dan emisi karbon, namun tidak kinerja lingkungan. Secara simultan, variabel menjelaskan 37,4% variasi nilai perusahaan. Kesimpulannya, pengungkapan ESG substantif di luar kepatuhan diperlukan untuk hindari sinyal negatif investor.

Abstract

This study explores the role of transformational leadership in strengthening the pedagogical competence of elementary school teachers within the context of Indonesia’s Merdeka Curriculum implementation. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research was conducted at two public elementary schools, namely SDN Sinarsari and SDN Neglasari, located in Ciranjang District, Cianjur Regency. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, non-participant observations, and document analysis, involving 12 participants consisting of school principals, teachers, and educational staff. The findings reveal three main themes: (1) exemplary leadership that inspires teachers through professional role modeling, (2) humanistic academic supervision that emphasizes dialogic coaching rather than inspection, and (3) collaborative empowerment through school-based professional development. These transformational leadership practices were found to contribute significantly to improvements in lesson planning quality, classroom instructional strategies, and teachers’ professional confidence. The study concludes that transformational leadership, when grounded in relational and context-sensitive approaches, can function as an effective catalyst for pedagogical improvement, particularly in schools facing limited resources. The findings reinforce theoretical perspectives on localized leadership models and offer practical guidance for school principals and policymakers in efforts to enhance instructional quality. Future research is recommended to examine the long-term impact and scalability of transformational leadership practices across diverse educational contexts.

Abstract

Morning sickness merupakan keluhan umum pada ibu hamil trimester I yang ditandai dengan mual dan muntah, dan apabila tidak ditangani dengan baik dapat berdampak pada status gizi serta kesehatan ibu dan janin. Pengetahuan dan status pekerjaan diduga berperan dalam membentuk perilaku ibu hamil dalam mengatasi morning sickness. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan dan status pekerjaan dengan perilaku mengatasi morning sickness pada ibu hamil trimester I di Klinik Alisa. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu hamil trimester I yang melakukan pemeriksaan Antenatal Care di Klinik Alisa, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 33 responden yang diambil menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji statistik Chi Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan baik tentang morning sickness (45,4%), berstatus bekerja (81,8%), dan menunjukkan perilaku positif dalam mengatasi morning sickness (63,6%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan dengan perilaku mengatasi morning sickness (p value = 0,01), serta terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara status pekerjaan dengan perilaku mengatasi morning sickness (p value = 0,02). Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan dan status pekerjaan dengan perilaku ibu hamil dalam mengatasi morning sickness. Diharapkan tenaga kesehatan dapat meningkatkan edukasi kesehatan kehamilan, khususnya terkait penanganan morning sickness, guna mendorong perilaku positif pada ibu hamil trimester I.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Tuberkulosis (TB) masih menjadi masalah kesehatan masyarakat global dengan beban yang tinggi pada kelompok usia produktif. Pekerja merupakan kelompok berisiko tinggi terhadap TB paru akibat paparan lingkungan kerja yang tidak sehat serta keterbatasan implementasi kebijakan kesehatan kerja. Dalam konteks tersebut, pengendalian TB pada pekerja perlu ditinjau tidak hanya dari aspek klinis, tetapi juga dari perspektif kebijakan kesehatan. Tujuan: Literature review ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bukti ilmiah mengenai tuberkulosis paru pada pekerja dalam perspektif kebijakan kesehatan, meliputi beban penyakit, faktor risiko di tempat kerja, kebijakan dan regulasi yang ada, serta tantangan implementasinya. Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan literature review yang disusun berdasarkan pedoman PRISMA 2020 dan PRISMA-S. Pencarian literatur dilakukan pada basis data elektronik utama dan repositori kebijakan menggunakan kata kunci terkait TB, pekerja, kesehatan kerja, dan kebijakan. Artikel yang diikutkan adalah publikasi lima tahun terakhir (≥2021), tersedia full-text, dan membahas TB pada pekerja serta implikasi kebijakan kesehatan. Sintesis data dilakukan secara naratif terstruktur. Hasil: Hasil review menunjukkan bahwa TB paru pada pekerja dipengaruhi oleh faktor individu, kondisi lingkungan kerja, dan kekuatan kebijakan kesehatan kerja. Kelompok pekerja tertentu, seperti tenaga kesehatan dan pekerja tambang, memiliki risiko lebih tinggi terhadap TB. Kebijakan kesehatan kerja yang mengintegrasikan skrining TB, pengendalian infeksi, dan perlindungan sosial terbukti penting dalam menurunkan risiko TB, namun implementasinya masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, terutama pada sektor informal dan dalam aspek monitoring kebijakan. Kesimpulan: Tuberkulosis paru pada pekerja merupakan masalah multidimensional yang memerlukan kebijakan kesehatan kerja yang komprehensif, inklusif, dan berbasis bukti. Integrasi program TB dengan kebijakan kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja serta penguatan implementasi kebijakan menjadi kunci dalam pengendalian TB yang berkelanjutan pada populasi pekerja.

Abstract

The study purpose was to examine the role of husband support in the success of exclusive breastfeeding among mothers of infants aged 0–6 months. Despite strong recommendations by the World Health Organization (WHO) for exclusive breastfeeding during the first six months of life, global and national coverage—particularly in Indonesia—remains below target. Among various determinants, husband support has emerged as a significant psychosocial and environmental factor influencing breastfeeding practices. This literature review synthesizes empirical findings from 25 peer-reviewed studies published between 2015 and 2025, aiming to identify the forms of husband support most strongly associated with exclusive breastfeeding success and to analyze the theoretical frameworks that explain this relationship. Materials and methods. A systematic literature review was conducted following PRISMA guidelines. Databases including PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Garuda were searched using keywords such as husband support, exclusive breastfeeding, and breastfeeding self-efficacy. Studies were included if they examined husband involvement in exclusive breastfeeding and were published in English or Bahasa Indonesia within the last decade. Results. The findings revealed that emotional and instrumental support were the most influential factors in maintaining exclusive breastfeeding, while informational and appraisal support enhanced maternal confidence and motivation. Husband participation in antenatal education and shared household responsibilities significantly increased breastfeeding duration and exclusivity rates. Conclusions. Husband support plays a pivotal role in promoting and sustaining exclusive breastfeeding. Integrating men into family-centered breastfeeding education and policy interventions is essential to improve maternal and infant health outcomes.

Abstract

Background:Anemia in pregnancy remains a significant public health problem that adversely affects maternal and fetal health. Compliance with antenatal care (ANC) visits plays an essential role in the prevention and early detection of anemia. However, non-compliance with ANC visits is still frequently observed among pregnant women, increasing the risk of anemia. Objective:This study aimed to determine the relationship between compliance with antenatal care visits and the incidence of anemia among pregnant women at Romana Clinic, Tanjung Anom Village, Pancur Batu Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. Methods:This study employed a quantitative analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 60 pregnant women attending antenatal services at Romana Clinic were included in the study. Data on ANC visit compliance were collected through structured interviews, while anemia status was obtained from medical records based on hemoglobin examination results. Data were analyzed using univariate and bivariate analyses with the chi-square test at a significance level of p < 0.05. Results:The results showed that 60.0% of pregnant women were compliant with antenatal care visits, while 40.0% were non-compliant. Anemia was found in 35.0% of respondents. Among women who were compliant with ANC visits, 19.4% experienced anemia, whereas 58.3% of non-compliant women were anemic. The chi-square test revealed a significant relationship between ANC visit compliance and anemia incidence (p = 0.003). Conclusion:There is a significant relationship between compliance with antenatal care visits and the incidence of anemia among pregnant women. Regular ANC visits play an important role in the prevention and early detection of anemia during pregnancy.

Abstract

Pluralitas agama, etnis, dan budaya merupakan keniscayaan sosial yang tidak dapat dihindari dalam kehidupan masyarakat modern. Dalam konteks ini, perlindungan terhadap hak-hak minoritas menjadi salah satu indikator utama keadilan sebuah peradaban. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Islam memandang hak-hak kelompok minoritas serta bagaimana konsep tersebut dapat diaplikasikan dalam masyarakat pluralistik kontemporer. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif dengan analisis normatif-teologis dan historis terhadap sumber-sumber utama Islam, seperti al-Qur’an, hadis, serta praktik sejarah Nabi Muhammad saw., khususnya melalui Piagam Madinah. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa Islam sejak awal mengakui pluralitas sebagai sunnatullah dan meletakkan prinsip keadilan, kebebasan beragama, serta perlindungan martabat manusia sebagai fondasi relasi sosial. Konsep ahl al-żimmī dalam fikih klasik memperlihatkan adanya jaminan hak-hak fundamental bagi minoritas non-Muslim, meliputi perlindungan jiwa dan harta, kebebasan beribadah, hak ekonomi, jaminan sosial, serta partisipasi terbatas dalam kehidupan politik. Praktik historis di Madinah membuktikan bahwa Islam mampu membangun tatanan masyarakat multikultural yang damai dan inklusif melalui Piagam Madinah sebagai konstitusi bersama. Dalam konteks masyarakat plural modern, konsep perlindungan minoritas dalam Islam mengalami transformasi dari sistem żimmah menuju konsep kewarganegaraan setara (muwāṭanah), yang menekankan kesetaraan hak dan kewajiban seluruh warga negara tanpa diskriminasi agama. Dengan demikian, Islam memandang hak-hak minoritas bukan sekadar sebagai kompromi sosial-politik, melainkan sebagai kewajiban teologis dan etis yang berakar pada prinsip keadilan ilahi dan kemanusiaan universal. Konsep ini relevan untuk diterapkan dalam masyarakat plural seperti Indonesia guna memperkuat harmoni sosial dan semangat Bhinneka Tunggal Ika.
