Abstract

Wayang golek performance art combines elements of drama, sound, literature, music, movement and fine arts. It can be said that the art of wayang golek performance is a "noble" art and must be preserved. It is very interesting to observe the wayang golek performance art at Saung Angklung Udjo (SAU) which packs the show so that it can become one of the attractions of cultural tourism. This study aims to determine how the packaging of the wayang golek performance art in SAU so that it can attract and attract cultural tourism. Through qualitative research methods, it was found that the puppet show art at Saung Angklung was successfully packaged in a series of angklung performances so that it became an attractive tourist attraction. Although the duration of the puppet show is not as long as wayang performances in general, the cultural values and messages are easily accepted by the audience. The results of the research show that the management of the Saung Angklung Udjo show has succeeded in producing and creating various wayang and angklung performances continuously so that they can become an attraction for cultural tourism.

Abstract

The Thousand Islands are islands that are famous for their maritime territory. Development through cultural values in these islands needs to be done, namely with a technological approach. The technological aspect approach as an information center from the results of the internalization of maritime culture with local wisdom, cultural value products can produce products in the form of physical, which consists of art, culinary, building art (architecture) and non-physical in the form of maritime norms and values, which then become an attraction for information both from the element of tourism and the implementation of maritime culture which has economic value. The research method used qualitative with the technique of collecting through interviews, observation and document study. The results of this study indicate that the community development program is an important factor in increasing the capacity of the community through the formation of public awareness by forming behavior patterns in the application of a sustainable maritime culture, which can make the community prosperous. This is in line with the strengthening of the people of Kelapa Island, with the awareness of having a maritime area, it will develop the spirit to defend the maritime area, which is in accordance with the characteristics of Kelapa Island, so that it can improve the welfare of its people, through people's economic efforts with marine production and development of social aspects. , physically and culturally, will be created. However, maritime culture technology is needed which will produce a community-based information network prototype, as a means of information about maritime cultural values, so that it will strengthen the coconut island as marine tourism in accordance with local wisdom.

Abstract

Neck pain is a problem that often occurs in populations. One of them is mechanical neck pain (MNP). The clinical manifestation of MNP include: pain, range of motion limitation, muscle spasm and also accompanied by weaknesses in deep cervical muscles, and neck disabilities that interfere with the function of daily activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the differences in the effectiveness of the addition of proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF) to muscle energy technique (MET) in a combination of ultrasound therapy (UST) and neck stabilization exercise (NSE). This research is a randomized controlled trial with pre and post-test control group design. The number of study participants in both groups is 24 respondents. In the control group (n = 12) were given UST, NSE, and PNF while in the treatment group (n = 12) were given UST, NSE, and MET. The outcome measure of this study include: movement pain is measured by visual analogue scale, lateral flexion cervical range of motion is measured by a goniometer, and neck disability is measured by the Indonesian version of the Northwick park neck pain questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that: (1) The combination of UST + NSE + MET significantly reduces pain in MNP (p = 0,000), (2) the combination of UST + NSE + MET significantly increases the range of motion in MNP (p = 0,000), and (3) there is no significant difference between the control and treatment groups in reducing neck disability in MNP (p = 0.409).

Abstract

The village as the center of economic development is always interesting to study, because the village structure in Indonesia generally supports the movement of the urban economy. The aim of this study was to analyze the role of marketing and self-image in one of the village organs, namely village-owned enterprises (BUMDes). One way of survival is how BUMdes can increase the brand awareness of the businesses and businesses they run. Quantitative research supporting by descriptive analysis is the method used. As one of the public services whose obligation is to obtain additional revenue through the business sector, BUMDes conducts marketing communications to consumers and expands marketing networks by improving self-image through two strategies. Direct strategies or below the line, use indirect prepositions. Respondents' results show that there are steps that need to be taken. In order to improve self-image, including through strategy, advertising and brand awareness, which are implemented for direct strategie. Indirect strategies can be implemented with activities or event activities as a spearhead. A good self-image will help the BUMDes business cycle to become stronger and support village programs as the center of the nation's economic progress.

Abstract

Teachers are expected to improve their professionalism by developing learning media that are able to facilitate students in learning according to their own abilities and in improving their competency. This research aims to describe the use of learning videos in teaching Office Administration subjects, especially mail competency and archiving. Direct interviews, observations, and a survey questionnaire provided data on the use of learning videos. The result showed that 1) learning videos are under-utilized as sources in learning the archiving process: textbooks and lectures are the most common forms today, and 2) learning video should be developed to learn about archiving and out basic mail competency.

Abstract

In the world, the development of the paper industry continues to increase, which is caused by increasing consumers and the high demand for raw material for paper production producers, namely wood as the main composition in making paper. The increasing use of paper so that the availability of wood, especially from forests is getting depleted and the price is getting more expensive, so paper producers are looking for solutions to reduce dependence on wood as a raw material composition in paper making, an alternative substitute for wood raw materials in producing paper, namely with non-wood raw materials, namely bamboo. Bamboo is considered easier to cultivate with a short growth rate and is easy to harvest, the bamboo chosen is the type of betung bamboo because Betung bamboo has fiber properties that are not hard, making it suitable for use as raw material for paper production, besides that the price is sufficient. affordable. In paper making, there are various stages, designers are interested in making detailed designs for bamboo shaved machines, to update the previous machines. This study aims to determine the effect of the blade design on bamboo shavings that occurs in the process of crushing bamboo stalks into small pieces, and to compare the output results of bamboo powder with the level of fineness of the two bamboo shavings. for the paper-making process there are various kinds of stages. The design begins using the Pahl and Beitz design method. Pahl and Beitz suggested that identification by means of interviews, so as to produce a selected variation design. Then proceed with detailed design, namely in the form of calculations of each component and end by conducting an analysis using the Inventor 2019 software. Specifications for the standard JIS G 450 bamboo drawstring machine, using a 5.3 HP AC electric motor with a rotation speed of 2400 Rpm, then continued using the shaft to transmit the transfer of power to the pulley and belt belt by producing movement of the blade and frame tools used, namely 50x50x5 mm size angle iron.

Abstract

In the world of work, the quality of employees is very concerned about supporting smooth work. Companies definitely choose prospective employees who have the qualities that the company expects. because of this, universities are required to develop soft skills that are balanced with hard skills. In addition to the quality of graduates, universities must also know the needs of companies and adjust to DUDI (world of work and industry). This will have an impact on graduates who will enter the world of work. The better the name of the college, the greater the opportunity for college graduates to join the company. In this study will be analyzed the satisfaction and needs of users passed by the Kalimantan Institute of Technology based on user satisfaction surveys with the target company or where alumni work. This research uses the Rating Scale method which is a systematic and structured observation method in reporting evaluation results, where each indicator used will be weighted according to the satisfaction survey data obtained.

Abstract

The challenge of construction supply chain management is to maintain supply and demand in the supply chain flow and ensure a sustainable supply chain in the framework of lean construction. This challenge must be captured as part of the solution of the development of the rapidly growing construction industry. At present a sustainableSCOR on the Supply Chain Operations Reference (SCOR) version 12.0 has been developed. SustainableSCOR is a concept of a sustainable supply chain performance measurement approach by considering environmental aspects. The aim of this study is to adopt a supply chain performance measurement model in the sustainable construction of SCOR 12.0. The research method adopts standards, categories, and matrices in sustainableSCOR to a constructionally validated definition to academics and practitioners. The discussion of the supply chain continues with the calculation of each matrix. The results showed that all sustainableSCOR categories, namely materials, recycled inputs, recovered inputs, energy, water, emissions, and waste can be adopted to measure sustainable supply chain performance in construction. The adoption of this performance measurement needs to be detailed into one of the construction materials, in this study is steel material.

Abstract

In calculating premiums, many insurance companies use commutation tables. Premium calculation can also be done with R software by making the function. Besides that, there is a set of packages available to make it efficient in solving various problems. One of the R packages in the field of insurance and actuarial is lifecontingencies, which can be used to manage life tables, actuarial tables, and perform calculations in actuarial mathematics. To calculate premiums for some customers, the use of lifecontingencies package is more efficient in terms of time because the calculations are carried out simultaneously for all customers compared to calculations using commutation tables manually. Therefore, this research discusses how to calculate the annual premium on an n-year end-to-end life insurance product by using a commutation table manually and by using the lifecontingencies package in Software R based on the illustration given. The results show that by using the commutation table manually and by using lifecontingencies package, the premium calculation results are the same. So, it can be concluded that the calculation of the premium with lifecontingencies package on R is better than the manual calculation because the premium results are the same but with a shorter time.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of information exposure about prostitution by the former of Big Bang, Seungri on Social Media Twitter, toward followers @SeungriID. Lots of pros and cons for fans of this information. Twitter is the main driving media for the Korean Wave. The information on Twitter forming a person's attitude. This research is a quantitative study using data obtained from distributing questionnaires to followers of @SeungriID and using linear regression analysis. The variables are information exposure on social media with dimensions of frequency, duration and attention and attitude variables which have cognitive, affective and conative dimensions. The sampling technique used nonprobabiliy sampling technique by taking a sample of 100 respondents from 7,881 followers. From the research that has been done, there is an effect between information exposure about prostitution by the former of Big Bang's Seungri on social media Twitter on the attitudes of followers @SeungriID with a weak correlation level. This is due to the lack of frequency and duration of respondents reading information about the prostitution of the former Big Bang's Seungri, which on average only takes research, to obtain data in the form of factors that affect attitudes towards in-depth information.
