Authors who intend to submit a manuscript for publication in JPPI obliged to understand correctly the instructions and the ins and outs of the provisions on this journal. For authors who have never published the article on this journal, we recommend reading all of the term and conditions are listed in the journal. Authors are requested to prepare a manuscript in accordance with the Instructions for preparation of manuscript and then to follow the Author Guidelines for submission. Before the manuscript is submitted to the editorial team, please make sure that your paper is prepared using the journal paper template. The authors must refer to JPPI for writing format and style (Please download and use as a template for the initial manuscript submission). This will ensure fast processing and publication. Any papers not fulfilling the requirements based on the guidelines to authors or focus and scope, with great regret will not be processed and automatically rejected. The author who will submit the manuscript after deadline of submission as long as meet the requirement for publication in this journal will be process for next issue. The paper submission and reviewing procedures in JPPI will be processed with the web-based system via the Open Journal System (OJS) by Public Knowledge Project (PKP). We strongly prefer to receive manuscripts via our online submission system. With using our OJS system, authors can upload manuscript files (text, figures, and supplementary information) directly to our office and check on the status of Reviews their manuscripts during the review process.

<![CDATA[Indonesia is a country that has a wide range of diversity in language, religion, culture, ethnicity, and customs. Diversity can trigger differences that have a negative impact, if not balanced with tolerance. Tolerance must be introduced early so that students have character values that can provide for the future. This research aims to analyze the role of teachers in applying the value of multicultural education in the learning process and the importance of instilling the value of multicultural education in students. The research method used is the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation until triangulation. The data analysis technique used refers to the Miles & Huberman theory, namely with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions/verification. The results of this study show that the implementation of multicultural education values can be done through habituation activities of character values in students that are arranged in the teacher's strategy.]]>

<![CDATA[Pembatasan aktivitas sosial yang diterapkan selama pandemi Covid-19, meskipun berdampak positif terhadap kesehatan masyarakat, turut menyebabkan disrupsi ekonomi yang signifikan. Pemerintah berupaya menekan inflasi melalui program subsidi seperti Warung Tekan Inflasi. Namun, penelitian menunjukkan adanya gap antara pencapaian dan proses pelaksanaannya, menandakan adanya potensi patologis dalam implementasi. Penelitian ini menganalisis potensi patologis dalam implementasi Program Warung Tekan Inflasi di Kota Madiun dan menganalisis langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh Pemerintah Kota Madiun dalam menangani potensi patologis tersebut untuk mengurangi risiko ketidaktepatan sasaran kebijakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis potensi patologis dalam implementasi program Warung Tekan Inflasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kota Madiun. Dalam penelitian ini, penentuan informan dilakukan melalui teknik purposive sampling dengan menerapkan kriteria-kriteria yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan penelitian. Subjek penelitian yaitu Pemerintah Kota Madiun yang memiliki otoritas dalam pelaksanaan program Warung Tekan Inflasi; Dinas Perdagangan Kota Madiun Kota Madiun sejumlah 3 (tiga) orang; Bagian Perekonomian dan Kesra Kota Madiun sejumlah 2 (dua) orang; 12 (dua belas) orang dari sektor tradisional; 1 (satu) orang dari Perumda Aneka Usaha; 1 (satu) orang dari Bulog Madiun. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Peneliti mengidentifikasi potensi patologis dalam Program Warung Tekan Inflasi Kota Madiun, seperti penjualan barang sembako subsidi di atas HET dan pembelian ulang untuk dijual kembali. Pemerintah merespons dengan menerbitkan aturan resmi, memperkuat pengawasan pedagang, menerapkan sistem pengaduan, dan menetapkan batasan jumlah pembelian serta prosedur evaluasi rekapitulasi penjualan. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi penting dalam pemahaman terhadap potensi patologis dalam implementasi kebijakan subsidi.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to reveal data about the uniqueness of SMA Plus Muthahhari Bandung in the implementation of character education through the development of students' spiritual intelligence. This research is considered important for finding an effective student character education system. This is bearing in mind that character education in schools in general has not shown maximum results, and even tends to fail when viewed from the rampant deviant or immoral behavior of students and society as an educational output. This study used a descriptive qualitative method; therefore, the researcher became the main instrument by using interview techniques, observation and documentation studies. To test the validity of the data, data, technique and time triangulation was carried out. While the informants involved school principals, vice principals, teachers, and students. The results of the research show that there is a uniqueness in the implementation of character education through the development of students' spiritual intelligence consistently by all school members and integrated into various school programs. These findings are expected to inspire other schools and related parties in planning and implementing student character education programs]]>

<![CDATA[This research aims to determine the leadership design of Sekolah Penggerak principals in instilling good practices in high schools in East OKU Regency. The method used in this research is research and development. The Research and Development (R&D) research procedure used in this research adopted the ADDIE model which consists of five stages, namely: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the research show that the initial conditions for the development of Sekolah Penggerak for school principals in implementing good practices in SMA East OKU Regency still require adaptive school planning and management to adapt to current developments and ensure quality learning. The Sekolah Penggerak principal's leadership design in instilling good practices is presented in units such as the Sekolah Penggerak program, school operational management working group, mentoring activities by the principal, and mentoring of the principal. The feasibility of the leadership design was declared feasible to implement, with an average score of 83.4% on the feasibility criteria and 80.73% on the material validator. This research could be groundbreaking in understanding how school leadership can influence best practices in secondary schools and provide valuable new insights for educational practitioners, researchers, and policymakers. This research can make a significant contribution to our understanding of how school leadership can improve best practices at the high school level, as well as provide a foundation for further research in this area.]]>

<![CDATA[Because it is impossible to reject the use of technology in public service procedures, the Bogor Regency Population and Civil Registration Service has implemented digital transformation in its operations, including the issuance of birth certificates. Knowing how digital transformation is implemented in the Bogor Regency Dukcapil Office is the aim of this research. This research applies Royyana's thesis (2021) which states that digital transformation is a shift for all institutions involving five indicators: technology adoption, process, structure, human resources and strategy. Bogor Regency Disdukcapil employees act as research informants in this qualitative descriptive research design. The findings of this research can show that the Bogor Regency Dukcapil Office has succeeded in implementing digital transformation.]]>

<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui serta menganalisis seberapa besar pengaruh dari faktor makroekonomi yang terdiri inflasi, suku bunga, produk domestik bruto serta nilai tukar terhadap laba operasional bank konvensional di Indonesia.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder yang meliputi data laba operasional bank konvensional, inflasi, suku bunga, produk domestik bruto, dan nilai tukar. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah regresi linear berganda dengan menggunakan E-views.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan inflasi, suku bunga, produk domestik bruto dan nilai tukar berpengaruh signifikan terhadap laba operasional bank konvensional di Indonesia. Sedangkan secara parsial inflasi berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap laba operasional bank konvensional di Indonesia, suku bunga berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap laba operasional bank konvensional di Indonesia, produk domestik bruto dan nilai tukar berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba operasional bank konvensional di Indonesia.]]>

<![CDATA[Ensuring adequate nutrition through a balanced and healthy diet is essential to maintaining overall health. Maintaining adequate nutrition remains the main priority of the Banjarmasin City Government, especially in remote areas of Mantuil District which has the highest prevalence of stunted children in Banjarmasin. This research aims to determine the prevalence of stunting cases in Mantuil District using a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The research results found that stunting cases in Mantuil District occurred more frequently in riverbank settlements due to sanitation problems, uninhabitable housing and large numbers of families in one house. This research also found that unhealthy residential conditions, low public awareness about stunting, unclean lifestyles also contribute to the prevalence of stunting cases.]]>

<![CDATA[Human resources (HR) have an important role in the success of a business or organisation through their effort, talent, innovation, drive, and actual tasks. The purpose of this study is to analyse and reveal the effect of work motivation and leadership on job satisfaction and the effect of work motivation, leadership and job satisfaction on employee performance, the effect of organisational culture on employee performance at Satpol PP Padang Sidempuan North Sumatra. Then the effect of work motivation on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction, the effect of leadership on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction and the effect of communication on employee performance mediated by job satisfaction. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. The research was conducted with a sample size of 199 employees, data testing using SEM PLS. The results of this study indicate that there is an effect of work motivation, leadership, communication and job satisfaction partially on employee performance at Satpol PP Padang Sidempuan North Sumatra. The implications of the study found that there is no positive and significant effect of work motivation on job satisfaction and leadership and communication partially on job satisfaction.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose to be achieved in this study is that students could have the ability to analyze and gather to descriptive text through the application of the listening team strategy, especially 2nd semester students in class A majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature Education in the 2019/2020 academic year. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method according to its type. The subject of this research is the ability to listen to descriptive texts of 2nd semester students in the 2019/2020 academic year majoring in Indonesian Language and Literature Education. The source of data is class A 2nd semester students totaling 32 people and lecturers of Listening Skills courses. To collect data, the technique used is a combined triangulation of observation and tests. The data analysis technique is inductive based on the facts obtained in the learning process and then constructed according to its type. The process goes through several stages starting with orienting the learning process, all data is described, the next stage is reduction or focus on the problems that arise during learning then selected according to the type, the last stage is analyzed. The results of the study state that the learning teams learning strategy has had a positive impact on student responsibility and activity in analyzing the description text that has been listened to during learning. Of the thirty-two students participating in the learning, 25 students have carried out their responsibilities 'well', 5 people are classified as quite good, and 2 people are 'not good'. The test results showed that 27 students answered correctly and 5 students still needed further guidance. The application of the learning teams strategy can improve the ability to analyze descriptive texts from listening to second semester students of the Department of Indonesian Language and Literature Education FBS Unima because the achievement is maximum.]]>

<![CDATA[Despite the importance of performing first aid in child emergencies and injuries, a tool that assess preschool teachers’ knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy in performing these particular skill is still lacking. This study aims to validate the content and face validity of this questionnaire about performing first aid in specific preschool teacher population based on American Heart Association (AHA) recommendation. Content and face validation index were measured in this study. The questionnaire, initially comprising 40 items across three domains (knowledge, attitude, and self-efficacy), was derived from extensive literature review, guidelines, and expert suggestions. Evaluation was performed by eight experts and initial testing conducted on preschool teachers which resulted in a final version with 34 items —18 for knowledge, 4 for attitude, and 12 for self-efficacy—demonstrating strong content and face validity. This questionnaire is then considered valid to be tested in the subsequent phase reliability study and can contribute to assess and to improve preschool teachers’ competence in performing first aid for children.]]>
