Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic accounting ethics in the management of benefits for Civil Servants (PNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) at the Tegal Regency Education and Culture Office. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that the management of benefits has been implemented based on the principles of accountability, transparency, and fairness, and is in line with the ethical values of Islamic accounting, namely trustworthiness, honesty (mas'uliyah), and justice (al adl). However, there are still limitations in the apparatus' understanding of the concept of Islamic accounting ethics conceptually. This study is expected to provide theoretical contributions to the development of public sector Islamic accounting studies as well as practical contributions to improving the quality of benefits management based on Islamic values.

Abstract

The high prevalence of dental caries in Indonesia, especially in children, requires comprehensive prevention efforts. Dental health knowledge is an important factor influencing caries prevention behavior. One early prevention effort is the use of Fuji VII Glass Ionomer Cement (GIC) which has a high fluoride release capacity. This study aims to determine the increase in knowledge of 5th grade students of Elementary School 17 North Pontianak regarding enamel caries prevention using Fuji VII material after being given counseling using Microsoft Powerpoint media. This study is a quantitative study with stages of observation, pre-test, counseling using Microsoft Powerpoint media, and post-test to measure changes in knowledge. The study respondents numbered 74 students. Data analysis used a test of the difference in average knowledge scores before and after the intervention. The majority of respondents were male (55%) with an average age of 10-11 years. The pre-test results showed that the majority of students (72%) had poor knowledge. After the counseling, there was a significant increase where 73% of students were in the good category and there were no more students in the poor category (0%). The average knowledge score increased significantly from 2.99 to 7.55 with a P-value of 0.000 (P < 0.05).

Abstract

Hospitals, as healthcare service institutions, are responsible for providing quality services through the performance of their employees, particularly nurses. Good nursing performance significantly affects service quality and patient satisfaction. One of the factors influencing nurse performance is work culture, which encompasses the methods, attitudes, and behaviors that form the foundation of work and serve as motivation to achieve optimal performance. A preliminary survey at Harapan Ibu General Hospital in Purbalingga revealed that 40.2% of nurses were frequently late, and 23.9% received poor performance evaluations. This study aimed to investigate the correlation between work culture and nurse performance. A descriptive quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach was used. A total of 150 nurses were selected through total sampling. Data collection was conducted via questionnaires, and analysis was performed using Spearman’s Rank test with SPSS version 25. The findings revealed that 98% of the nurses had a strong work culture, while 79.3% demonstrated good performance. Statistical analysis produced a p-value of 0,000 (Sig < 0,05) and a correlation coefficient of 0,734, indicating a strong positive relationship. In conclusion, work culture is significantly associated with nurse performance. with a strong correlation. It is recommended that the hospital incorporate Islamic values into its organizational culture, enhance nurse training programs, establish a Bachelor's in Nursing (Ners) degree as a recruitment standard, and implement policies to restrict cellphone usage during working hours.

Abstract

Background: Depression is a mood disorder that significantly increases the risk of suicide, particularly among patients in acute psychiatric intensive care settings. Suicide risk management is a priority in nursing care as it directly relates to patient safety. Non-pharmacological interventions such as Guided Imagery and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) may help stabilize emotions and improve coping mechanisms. Objective: To analyze nursing care for patients at risk of suicide due to depression through the implementation of Guided Imagery and Focus Group Discussion interventions in a psychiatric intensive care unit. Methods: This study employed a descriptive analytic method with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, active participation, documentation review, and literature study. The subject was a patient diagnosed with depression and high suicide risk admitted to a psychiatric intensive care unit. Interventions were implemented in stages, beginning with Guided Imagery for emotional stabilization, followed by FGD to enhance social support and coping skills. Evaluation was conducted by assessing behavioral changes, emotional responses, and suicide risk scores. Results: The findings showed a significant reduction in suicide risk scores from high risk (scores of 14 and 11) to low risk (score of 3) after the interventions. Patients reported feeling calmer, more comfortable, experiencing fewer negative thoughts, and showing increased motivation to live. FGD facilitated emotional expression and strengthened social support. Conclusion: The implementation of Guided Imagery and Focus Group Discussion was effective in reducing suicide risk among patients with depression in a psychiatric intensive care setting. These interventions can be integrated into comprehensive nursing care to support suicide prevention efforts

Abstract

Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) has been identified as the causative agent of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). In severe cases, the disease is frequently accompanied by blood coagulation disorders that increase the risk of thrombotic events, impair organ function, and ultimately contribute to higher mortality. In response to these complications, anticoagulant therapies such as Heparin, Enoxaparin, Rivaroxaban, and Fondaparinux have become key components of COVID-19 patients management. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of anticoagulant use in patients with COVID-19 and to analyze its correlation with changes in the import profile of anticoagulant drugs and active pharmaceutical ingredients during the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method uses a descriptive analysis method using data of Import License for drugs and anticoagulant drug ingredients from the pre-pandemic period (October 2018 – February 2020) were compared with those from the pandemic period (March 2020 – July 2021. The results showed that the use of anticoagulants—particularly enoxaparin and fondaparinux— was associated with improvement of coagulation parameters, reduced risk of thromboembolic events, and lowered of mortality among COVID-19 patients. Fondaparinux was reported to be effective in preventing venous thromboembolism (VTE) and best related to its drug interaction profile. Analysis of import license data revealed a significantly increase in both number of import license and volume of imported anticoagulant, including Heparin, Enoxaparin, Rivaroxaban, and Fondaparinux during the pandemic, with the most increase observed for fondaparinux. Based on the results of this study, it highlights a clear correlation between the higher demand for anticoagulant therapy in COVID-19 patients and the increased importation of anticoagulant during the pandemic

Abstract

This study aims to describe the learning process of traditional dance movement material, particularly the Tidi Lo O’Ayabu dance, through the demonstration method among Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Bone. The background of this study is the ineffectiveness of previous dance learning processes that relied solely on audio-visual media, resulting in many students experiencing difficulties in applying practical material and failing to achieve the Minimum Mastery Criteria (KKM). This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through direct observation, unstructured interviews with the school principal, cultural arts teachers, and students, as well as documentation. The research subjects consisted of all Grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Kabila Bone. The learning steps were organized into nine meetings, including theory delivery, visual observation, and direct practice through the demonstration method in which the teacher acted as a model. The results showed that the implementation of the demonstration method significantly improved students’ psychomotor skills, cognitive understanding, and affective attitudes. Students became more enthusiastic, were able to understand complex movement details more easily, and were capable of performing the Tidi Lo O’Ayabu dance in groups with assessment categories ranging from “Good” to “Very Good.” Through this method, students not only memorized movements but also understood their philosophical meanings and contributed to the preservation of Gorontalo’s local cultural heritage.
