Abstract

This Community Service article discusses the dissemination of the minimum age for marriage based on Law no. 16 of 2019 concerning amendments to Law no. 1 of 1974 concerning marriage in Besitang District. This Community Service article aims to advocate for the community, especially teenagers, to know the minimum age limit for marriage. The community service method used is qualitative advocacy. The approach used is a descriptive analysis approach supported by an anthropological and sociological approach. The subjects of this article are teenagers in Besitang District. Data collection for the article uses observation and interviews by the author being directly involved in community service activities. The results of the community service that have been carried out are first, conducting early identification of triggers for teenagers to quickly marry at a young age. Second, dissemination is carried out with humanistic and persuasive communication by conveying the substance of Law no. 19 of 2019. Third, dissemination is carried out to school-age teenagers in the 3 T areas (underdeveloped, outermost, and most remote) with a narrative message of the rights and obligations of teenagers after graduating from school.

Abstract

This community service program aims to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency, in optimizing the use of social media to increase business productivity. The focus of the training is to provide participants with understanding and skills regarding effective digital marketing strategies, especially through the Instagram platform. With the training module titled "Instagram for Business," participants gained practical guidance in managing social media accounts as well as creating engaging and relevant content to expand their market. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in participants' understanding of the use of social media as a marketing tool. The obstacle found during the implementation was the lack of communication between the committee and the local community, so that some participants could not attend. Overall, however, this activity has had a positive impact, helping MSMEs increase productivity and expand market reach through social media. This report is prepared as evaluation material and scientific publications for the development of future activities.

Abstract

This service explores the implementation of halal product certification through the Self-declare scheme for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), specifically the Dodol Siwalan producers in Totosan Village, Batang-Batang District, Sumenep Regency. The halal certification program offered by the Indonesian government aims to facilitate the halal certification process for MSMEs by allowing them to obtain their halal products by meeting certain requirements. Considering Indonesia's significant Muslim population and its ambition to become a global halal hub by 2024, this dedication underscores the importance of halal certification in enhancing product credibility and market reach for SMEs. The service methods used include observation, interviews, socialization, discussion, and mentoring with local SMEs, fostering a compliant and competitive food industry in Indonesia, particularly the siwalan dodol in Totosan Village, Sumenep Regency.

Abstract

The use of social media in the digital era has a significant impact, both positive and negative, especially for the younger generation such as students. This research aims to increase digital literacy and awareness of social media ethics among students of SMA IT Baitussalam through community service programs. This activity was carried out with an interactive socialization method that involved the creation of visual-based educational materials, discussions, and simulations. The material covers the benefits of social media, potential negative impacts, and guidelines for wise and responsible use. The results of the service show an increase in students' understanding in filtering information, preventing the spread of hoaxes, and using social media productively. Observation and interviews supported positive behavior change among participants. The conclusion of this activity shows that the interactive education approach is effective in building digital literacy, so that it can be applied in other educational environments to equip the young generation with ethical and responsible social media skills.

Abstract

The implementation of organic waste management through the utilisation of black soldier fly (BSF) cultivation media has been employed in Ngraket Village, Balong District, Ponorogo Regency, with the objective of reducing environmental pollution. The community service activity spanned four weeks and included socialization, practice, and evaluation. Black soldier fly (BSF) larvae utilize organic waste as feed, producing economically valuable residue for livestock nutrition. N-Gain test results demonstrated a significant increase in partner knowledge, exceeding 76%, confirming the effectiveness of the program. BSF utilization is expected to support waste reduction, prevent pollution, and increase village income. Follow-up activities are proposed to support the sustainability of this program.

Abstract

This community engagement program analyzes the transformation of SMAN 1 Bangil into SMAN 1 Taruna Madani in Pasuruan Regency, a collaboration between the East Java Provincial Government, the Indonesian Navy (TNI AL), and Pondok Pesantren Darullughah Wadda’wah (Dalwa). The initiative focuses on the integration of academic education, discipline training, and religious values, and their impact on students' character development. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, data was collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, program documentation, and open-ended questionnaires. The results show significant improvements in religious awareness, discipline, and social responsibility, with students demonstrating better time management between academic, religious, and social obligations. Activities such as congregational prayers, Quran memorization, and religious studies enhanced students' spiritual values, while discipline training by TNI AL built responsibility and resilience. Social programs like community service and environmental campaigns cultivated empathy and social engagement among students. Despite these successes, challenges remain in curriculum integration, infrastructure readiness, and educator training. Recommendations include enhancing coordination among stakeholders, accelerating infrastructure development, and providing continuous training for educators and instructors. This integrated education model is expected to serve as a sustainable reference for similar schools in fostering disciplined, responsible, and spiritually aware students.

Abstract

TPQ Pelangi Nusantara has several issues, including the absence of a standardized curriculum, limited teaching staff, and lack of parental involvement in children's character education. As a solution, the Golden Moral program is implemented by adjusting the principles of golden habits, a concept that emphasizes the formation of good habits in daily life. The program aims to improve children's morals and the quality of TPQ education through various activities such as program socialization and distribution of supporting books, Qur'an and Iqro reading and writing training, and strengthening speaking skills through speech training. In addition, there is also literacy corner (pojok literasi), worship education (wudhu, tayamum, salat), game-literasi (garasi), and creation event (ajang kreasi). The program runs for four months, from August to November 2023. This program succeeded in changing the behavior of students to be better and have a positive character and succeeded in improving the quality of learning in TPQ. Santri also experienced an increase in the ability to read and write the Qur'an of the students, the students' understanding of speech materials, worship, and other islamic materials, as well as fostering creativity in their work.

Abstract

Delinquency and criminalization of children is a social problem caused by various factors, including environmental influences, lack of understanding of moral values, and weak supervision from the family and community. This service program aims to strengthen Pancasila values ​​as a preventive solution in shaping children's character so that they comply with social and legal norms. The method used in this activity is educational participatory, involving the school academic community, including teachers, teaching staff, and students as the main objects. Activities are carried out through outreach, interactive discussions, case studies, teacher training, and student involvement in various social programs based on Pancasila values. Evaluation is carried out to measure the effectiveness of the program through surveys, interviews and observations of changes in student behavior before and after the program is implemented. The results of the service showed that 85% of students experienced an increase in understanding and application of Pancasila values, and there was a 40% reduction in deviant behavior, such as bullying.

Abstract

Bullying, both physical and psychological, has a significant impact on the development of both victims and also perpetrators. This issue is often found not only in formal educational institutions but also in non-formal education settings such as Al-Qur'an Education Center. and Supplementary Islamic School. This community service activity aims to raise awareness among students, teachers, and parents about the importance of preventing bullying through educational seminars, role-playing activities, and interactive discussions. Using Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a participatory research approach that involves the surrounding community at TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Qur’an) and Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) Al Falah Pasuruan, as well as the teachers as active subjects, not merely research objects. This program involves 200 students from TPQ and Madin Al-Falah, as well as the active participation of 25 teachers to develop joint strategies in building the character of students with noble morals through education on preventing bullying actions. The outcomes of this program include increased understanding of bullying, the creation of an anti-bullying code of ethics, and greater community participation in bullying prevention.

Abstract

Basically, human life cannot be separated from rules, with the existence of real forms of religious activities, it is hoped that it will have a positive impact on daily life in society to understand what can be done and what cannot be done with the barometer of Islamic teachings that are relevant at all times. Focus on devotion, how to convey the message of da'wah with current developments without ignoring religious values. And the goal of service is a concrete manifestation of the practice of Islamic values. The research method used, descriptive qualitative, is a form of social and religious service related to the practice of Islamic teachings. As a result of the service, the practice of instilling Islamic values ​​in Lumbang Village, Lumbang District, Probolinggo Regency has had a positive impact on people's lives, as well as the practice of Islamic values ​​in daily life, this activity has become an opportunity to strengthen friendship between fellow citizens. , and the active role of the community in these activities makes them understand how important religious teachings are in the continuity of life in the current generation and beyond. With religious activities, it is hoped that they can make a better contribution to religious life for the Islamic ummah and society in general.
