Abstract

علم المعاني هو العلم الذي يبحث أحوال اللفظ مثل التعريف والتنكير، والذكر والحذف، والإظهار والإضمار، والتقديم والتأخير، وغير ذلك. ويتبين كيف تكون هذه الأحوال واقعة في الكلام موقعا تطابق دواعى النفس ؟ ولم تأت زائدة ثقيلة، ولا متكلفة كريهة، وهذه الأحوال هي التي نسميها الخصائص. فعلم المعاني هو الأساس الأول في علوم البلاغة ، وذلك لأن العلم الذي يراد به بناء الجملة على نحو يؤدي إلى وفاء المعنى وتمامه طبقا لما يقتضيه الحال. ولما كانت التراكيب تختلف من أديب لآخر، ومن معنى لمعنى، طبقا لمقتضى الحال، وبحيث تكون التراكيب المستخدمة قد جاءت على وجه من وجوه النحو، كان وجود ما أطلق عليه علم المعاني من الأمور الضرورية التي تكشف عن مدى مطابقة الوجه المستخدم في التركيب لمقتضى الحال . نظرا إلى أهمية هذا العلم ، فينبغي لمعلّمه أن يسلك طريقة جذابة في تعليمه لترغيب الدارسين في تعلم هذا العلم . وفي هذه الورقة البحثية يريد الباحث أن يبحث عن تعليم علم المعاني في جامعة دار اللغة والدعوة الإسلامية بانقيل ، فقد حاول مدرّس علم المعاني في هذه الجامعة على حصول طريقة سهلة في تفهيم هذا العلم لدى طلابه . الكلمة الرئيسية : علم المعاني وتعليمه

Abstract

كان معهد رياض الصالحين فرابالينكا لم يكن فيه إحياء اللغة العربية إلا بعد أواخر هذه السنوات بالأدق نشأت اللغة العربية فيه قبل أربعة سنوات الماضية، و وجود العربية لدى الطلاب بمعهد رياض الصالحين صارت غربية في أول الحضور، و لم يكن أيضا لديهم الهمة في تغلغل و تعمق على اللغة العربية. فإن هذا البحث له الأهداف هي لوصف تطبيق ممارسة الكلام باستخدام حفظ النصوص العربية لدى المستوى الثانوي بمعهد رياض الصالحين فرابالينكا ولمعرفة الزيادة في الإتقان على كلام العربية لدى المستوى الثانوي بمعهد رياض الصالحين ففرابالينكا هذا البحث هو البحث التجريبي . ويسمى بالتجريبي، يحاول هذا البحث أن يأخذ تأثيرا من المتغيرات المعين على المتغير الآخر بمراقبة جديدة . واسلوب جمع البيانات المستخدم فى هذا البحث هو الملاحظة والمقابلة والإستبانة والإختبار. أما نتائج البحث فى هذا البحث هي: 1) أن تعليم مهارة الكلام باستعمال حفظ النصوص العربية بمعهد رياض الصالحين فرابالينكا يتكون من حفظ النصوص العربية و ممارسة الإلقاء بما قد حفظ الطلبة من تلك النصوص ثم المكالمة بين المدرس و الطلبة عن السؤال و الجواب.2) حفظ النصوص العربية فعالة في تنمية مهارة كلام الطلاب باللغة العربية في المستوى الثانوي بمعهد رياض الصالحين فرابالينكا، وذلك بمعنى نتائج الاختبار البعدي ارتفع. وهذه يظهر من النتائج الاختبار التاء (t-test) هي نتيجة (t-table) أكبر من نتيجة (t-hitung) = 2.24 < 2.71 فقد اتضح الاستنباط منها أن Ho ضعيف و Ha مقبول، بمعنى فيه التأثير في استعمال حفظ النصوص في تنمية مهارة كلام الطلاب باللغة العربية في المستوى الثانوي بمعهد رياض الصالحين فرابالينكا.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of AI-generated music, specifically through the Suno AI platform, on enhancing Arabic listening skills (maharah istima') and vocabulary acquisition at Darullughah Wadda’wah Boarding School (Pesantren). A qualitative approach was employed over a 3-week period, involving 120 students aged 16 to 18. The findings reveal that AI-powered music significantly improved student motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes. Students demonstrated better vocabulary retention and listening comprehension, facilitated by the contextual use of lyrics in AI-generated songs. However, the short duration of the study posed challenges for mastering all introduced vocabulary. This research suggests that integrating AI-generated music into Arabic language education offers a promising, engaging alternative to traditional methods, particularly in enhancing receptive language skills. Future studies could extend the duration and explore the impact on other language skills such as speaking and writing.

Abstract

This study investigates the phenomenon of language interference in Arabic learning at Darullughah Wadda'dawah (DALWA) Islamic Boarding School in Bangil, Pasuruan. It focuses on identifying the forms of interference, analyzing their impact on students' Arabic language proficiency, and developing strategies to mitigate these challenges. While Arabic language interference has been extensively studied in educational contexts, there is a lack of specific research within Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren), particularly those with a diverse student population. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research utilized semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal that language interference manifests at the phonological, morphological, and syntactic levels, significantly affecting students' confidence and performance in Arabic. Common interference patterns include mispronunciation of Arabic phonemes absent in students' native languages, the use of Indonesian-influenced sentence structures, and inappropriate vocabulary choices. Proposed strategies for mitigation include enhanced phonetic instruction, a contextual approach to vocabulary teaching, and fostering an immersive Arabic-speaking environment. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of language interference dynamics in the context of Islamic education in Indonesia and underscores the need for teaching methods that address these challenges effectively.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of Kitab Muhawarah in enhancing maharah kalam (speaking proficiency) among Arabic language learners in Malaysia, addressing the existing challenges in Arabic education, particularly the need for more resources focused on conversational skills. The research aims to assess how Kitab Muhawarah, a textbook emphasizing practical dialogues, contributes to students' ability to speak Arabic fluently and confidently. The study utilized a qualitative approach, gathering data through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. A sample of 60 students from Maktab Mahmud Yan participated in the study over three months, during which their progress in speaking proficiency was monitored. The findings reveal significant improvements in students' speaking confidence, fluency, and the application of Arabic vocabulary in real-life contexts. This research highlights the importance of incorporating dialogue-based learning into Arabic language instruction, presenting Kitab Muhawarah as a valuable tool for bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical use.

Abstract

This study explores the pedagogical effectiveness of Nazm Al-Ajrumiyyah and its commentary Al-Mawahib Al-Rabbaniyah in enhancing the learning of Arabic grammar, particularly in the areas of nahwu (syntax) and sharaf (morphology). Utilizing a mixed-method approach, the research involves 200 students from Pon Pes Darullughah Wadda'wah and 100 students from the Arabic Language Education (PBA) department. Quantitative results indicate significant improvement in students' memorization and understanding of grammatical rules after incorporating nazm into their curriculum, with 75% of learners showing enhanced long-term retention. Qualitative findings, based on classroom observations and interviews, reveal that students found the poetic method engaging and effective in simplifying complex grammar concepts. The rhythmic structure of nazm facilitated a more interactive and enjoyable learning experience, while Al-Mawahib Al-Rabbaniyah provided valuable explanations that bridged traditional grammatical rules with contemporary learning needs. The study concludes with recommendations for curriculum development, advocating for the formal integration of nazm in Arabic grammar instruction to improve comprehension and retention.

Abstract

This study explores the impact of Arabic oratory on vocabulary acquisition and public speaking confidence among students in Malaysia, where Arabic is mainly learned for religious purposes. The research aims to assess the effectiveness of Arabic Public Speaking (khitabah) in enhancing language retention and building self-assurance in public speaking through a psycholinguistic approach. Using a mixed-methods design, data were collected from 30 Form Four students at Maktab Mahmud Yan through qualitative interviews, classroom observations, and quantitative pre- and post-tests. The findings show a 20% improvement in vocabulary mastery and a 50% increase in public speaking confidence following weekly oratory sessions. Psycholinguistic strategies, such as voice projection and positive reinforcement, were instrumental in reducing student anxiety. The study introduces a novel integration of Arabic oratory with psycholinguistic techniques, demonstrating a dual impact on language proficiency and confidence. This research suggests that embedding Arabic oratory in language curricula can significantly improve both vocabulary acquisition and speaking skills, offering a holistic method for language development in similar educational contexts.

Abstract

Despite years of traditional Arabic language instruction, many students still struggle to express themselves confidently and fluently in real-world conversations. This alarming gap underscores the urgent need for innovative pedagogical strategies that go beyond rote memorization and passive learning. This study investigates the effectiveness of interactive debate strategies in enhancing Arabic speaking proficiency, offering a dynamic platform for real-time communication, critical thinking, and confidence-building. Utilizing a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with educators and students, and reflective journals. The study involved 60 participants, selected through purposive sampling to represent varying proficiency levels. The findings reveal that interactive debates significantly improve fluency, vocabulary acquisition, and critical argumentation skills, while also fostering psycholinguistic benefits such as reduced speaking anxiety and better cognitive control. However, challenges like time constraints, preparation gaps, and language disparities were observed. To address these barriers, practical solutions including pre-debate workshops, flexible scheduling, and scaffolded participation are proposed. This study bridges a crucial gap in Arabic language pedagogy by presenting a structured framework for implementing interactive debates, ultimately promoting sustainable language learning outcomes and empowering students to speak Arabic with clarity, confidence, and cultural awareness.

Abstract

In the modern era of digital education, podcasts have emerged as a dynamic medium to address the gaps in traditional Arabic language teaching, particularly in listening (maharah istima’) and speaking (maharah kalam) skills. Recognizing the challenges of limited exposure to authentic language environments and traditional methods that often fail to engage learners, this study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of podcasts as a pedagogical tool for Arabic language instruction. A qualitative research design was employed, involving 20 advanced-level students (santri) aged 16–18 from Darullughah Wadda’wah, a renowned Islamic boarding school. Participants engaged with curated Arabic podcasts over four weeks, supplemented by group discussions, structured speaking exercises, and comprehension assessments. Data collection included pre- and post-tests, observational notes, audio recordings, and semi-structured interviews. Results indicate a significant improvement in listening skills (30%) and speaking proficiency (25%), with students reporting enhanced vocabulary retention and increased confidence in communication. Observational data highlighted elevated engagement and motivation during podcast-based learning compared to traditional approaches. This study concludes that podcasts are a versatile and innovative medium for fostering language skills, bridging theoretical and practical knowledge gaps. Recommendations include expanding podcast topics and integrating visual aids for broader applicability in diverse educational contexts.
