Al Muazarah: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat bertujuan untuk menyediakan media bagi penelitian dan kajian terkait pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari berbagai bidang ilmu. Fokus dan ruang lingkup pengabdian masyarakat pada jurnal ini diantaranya Collaborative Governance, Pembangunan Partisipatif, Pembangunan Berkelanjutan, Pembangunan Inklusif, Ekonomi Kreatif, Knowledge Transfer for Community Development, Aktualisasi Kearifan dan Budaya Lokal, Sustainable Livelihood, Transfer Teknologi, Globalisasi dan Transformasi Sosial, Pengembangan Kompetensi dan Kewirausahaan, Pengembangan Ekonomi Kerakyatan, Rekayasa Sosial, Manajemen Konflik, dan Literasi Informasi Digital. Abstract

This community service program aims to assist Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Ngemplakrejo Village, Pasuruan City in developing the local potential of coastal products. Ngemplakrejo Village has a wealth of coastal natural resources that have high potential to be processed into products with economic value, but many MSMEs in this area face obstacles in optimizing this potential. These obstacles include lack of knowledge about product processing and packaging, minimal market access, and the absence of an effective branding strategy. This assistance is carried out through several stages, namely identification of local product potential, technical training in product processing and packaging, and development of branding and marketing strategies. In addition, this program also provides education on business legality to increase consumer confidence and expand market reach. With this assistance, it is hoped that MSMEs in Ngemplakrejo Village will be able to improve product quality, strengthen competitiveness, and optimize existing local economic potential. The results of this program are expected to have a positive impact on MSME actors, both in increasing business capacity and in expanding the market for coastal products, so that the contribution of MSMEs to the local economy is increasingly significant.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve digital literacy and develop students' self-potential at MA Ma'arif Pasuruan. Digital literacy is an essential skill in today's digital era, but related learning is still not effectively applied in the Madrasah Aliyah environment. Through this program, assistance is provided to students to arouse enthusiasm to continue to the lecture level and deepen their understanding of digital literacy. The methods used include mentoring, material presentation, training, and discussion. The results of this activity show that students can acquire new skills that can be applied in daily life, strengthening their potential to be more productive in the digital world.

Abstract

This training aims to empower the Jati Village community by increasing skills in processing cassava into cassava chips, with the hope of encouraging local economic growth and creating jobs. This training program includes theoretical and practical sessions on cassava processing techniques, product innovation, as well as marketing and business management strategies. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' skills, including the ability to select quality raw materials, processing and packaging of cassava chips. Participants reported increased income and success in starting new businesses, which have created additional jobs in the village. This training was successful in achieving the goals of economic empowerment and improving community welfare, however additional follow-up and support is needed to ensure long-term business sustainability and development.

Abstract

The "Economic Empowerment of Jati Village through Production and Marketing of Spice Syrup" program aims to utilize the potential of local spices as an economic resource that can improve the welfare of village communities. Jati Village, with its wealth of spices such as ginger, turmeric and ginger, has a great opportunity to develop spice syrup products of high quality and high selling value. This program is implemented in several stages. First, identification and analysis of the potential of spices and community training needs were carried out. Furthermore, intensive training was carried out regarding spice syrup making techniques, quality control, as well as marketing and business management strategies. The results of this program are expected to empower the people of Jati Village by increasing income through the production of spice syrup, creating employment opportunities, and preserving the tradition of using local spices. In addition, this program aims to expand public knowledge about the economic and health benefits of spices, as well as strengthening the competitiveness of local products in the market. The impact of this training is the innovation of spice syrup to be used as mixed ice in the "Es Kang Bejo" business.

Abstract

The Program for Strengthening Al-Qur'an Learning through the Talaqqi Method at Pondok Pesantren Terpadu Al-Chodidjah aims to enhance the quality of Al-Qur'an education by integrating the traditional talaqqi method with modern technology. The program, which includes intensive training for teachers and ustadz, the development of interactive learning media, and small group student mentoring, was conducted from February 15, 2024, to August 30, 2024. It successfully improved the educators' competence in teaching the Al-Qur'an and utilizing technology. The learning media developed, including audio recordings and tajwid modules, significantly increased students' understanding and motivation. Intensive mentoring yielded significant improvements in students' reading skills and comprehension. Challenges such as time constraints were addressed through schedule adjustments and the empowerment of ustadz in material creation. This program demonstrated a positive impact on improving the quality of Al-Qur'an learning and can serve as a model for similar developments in other pesantren.

Abstract

This research explores the potential for empowering digital marketing at the Darullughah Wadda'wah Islamic Boarding School, Bangil, Pasuran, as an innovation to improve the community's economy. By using participatory action research (PAR) methods, this research identifies that through implementing digital marketing strategies, Islamic boarding schools can have a significant positive impact on the skills and economic independence of students. The implications of this research highlight the importance of active collaboration between Islamic boarding schools and local communities to achieve success in efforts to empower the community's economy.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) is an implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, encompassing community service, teaching, and research. This study was conducted at Darullughah Wadda’wah Islamic Boarding School in Pasuruan, during the post-Covid-19 pandemic, focusing on the flagship program "Estafet Mufrodat." This program aimed to enhance the Arabic language skills of female students (santriwati), who are required to speak Arabic in their daily lives at the boarding school. The 2023 KKN was conducted entirely within the boarding school complex, emphasizing the empowerment of santriwati through language activities. The research methodology included problem identification through interviews, program planning in collaboration with the boarding school management, implementation, evaluation, and program sustainability. The results indicate that the Estafet Mufrodat program successfully improved the Arabic language proficiency of santriwati, created an enjoyable learning environment, and supported the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In conclusion, despite challenges due to the pandemic, KKN remained effective as a means of community service and the development of students' abilities in the context of community empowerment.

Abstract

Laboratory tests must be carried out according to existing procedures, so that accurate, fast and reliable results are obtained. Pre-analytical stage errors contribute the most to laboratory errors, namely 61%. Community Service activities for Medical Laboratory Technologists (ATLM) aim to provide understanding and reinforcement regarding blood specimen management. The targets of this activity are ATLM and nurses working at UPTD Puskesmas I North Denpasar, UPTD Puskesmas II North Denpasar, UPTD Puskesmas III North Denpasar as many as 20 people. This community service activity was carried out in June 2023. Measurement of the level of knowledge about blood specimen management using the questionnaire method. Counselling on blood specimen management was carried out by speakers from DPW PATELKI BALI and TLM Lecturers related to research in the field of management. The level of knowledge at the pre-analytical stage is in the Good category with a score of 86.92%. In the management of blood specimens, especially handling samples before examination, there appears to be a downward trend in the number of errors in the number of samples that are lysed, lacking and clotted.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of bullying prevention socialization conducted at SMP Queen Al-Amin, Desa Cintamulya, Kecamatan Candipuro, South Lampung. The socialization aimed to improve the understanding of seventh-grade students about bullying, particularly verbal bullying, using PowerPoint presentations and other supporting equipment. Held on August 1, 2024, the socialization resulted in a significant increase in students' knowledge about bullying. Initially, many students lacked a clear understanding of bullying definitions and forms. Post-socialization, students gained a better grasp of verbal bullying, which includes mocking, derogatory nicknames, threats, insults, and gossip. Interviews revealed frequent experiences or observations of verbal bullying among students, impacting their self-esteem. The socialization successfully raised awareness about the negative effects of bullying and encouraged students to report incidents. The positive change in students' attitudes indicates the effectiveness of the activity in reducing bullying incidents. The role of schools and government policies, such as the Ministry of Education Regulation No. 12 of 2011 on Child-Friendly Schools, is crucial for creating a safe and supportive school environment.

Abstract

This service is located in Arjoyoso Hamlet, Ampelgading Village, Malang Regency. Arjoyoso Hamlet produces quite a lot of bananas, around 1000 each year. However, even though bananas are abundant, they are only used for direct consumption and sold as fresh fruit. Therefore, this mentoring program aims to provide training to the community, especially farmers and small businesses, about good banana processing techniques, starting from selecting raw materials, processing, to product packaging and marketing, in order to improve the community's economy. This service uses the PAR method, based on Maqoshid Al-Syari'ah, the stages in this service are: socialization, interviews, distributing questionnaires, and FGD with the surrounding community. Meanwhile, the instrument in this research is interviews. The results of this service include successfully obtaining a SK Banana Usaha Group, halal certificate, NIB and P-IRT legality. This product is called Champion Banana Chips with four flavor variants, namely Chocolate, Salted Onion, Sweet Spicy and Sweet Honey.
