Abstract

The Family Planning (KB) program in Kalirejo Lawang Village faces challenges in the process of clustering active participants, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Based on these challenges, a clustering solution using the K-Means algorithm was proposed. Experiments were conducted by testing the number of clusters from 2 to 8 and evaluating them using the silhouette score. The results of the study showed that the optimal number of clusters is two, as indicated by a silhouette score of 0.447. This value represents the best clustering quality compared to other cluster numbers, where the scores for clusters 3 to 8 did not exceed this value. This demonstrates that clustering into two groups provides the most optimal results. Lower scores for clusters 3 to 8 indicate that dividing the clusters into more groups did not create clear separations or worsened the cohesion within clusters. The conclusion of this study shows that the K-Means method can be applied and is reliable for clustering active KB participants in Kalirejo Lawang Village. With its speed and accuracy, K-Means offers a significant solution to improving the efficiency of the KB program at the village level. The practical implication of this research is to provide a more structured basis for planning and decision-making in the KB program at the village level. These findings mark an important step in optimizing the management of KB program data, opening opportunities for broader implementation in other areas.

Abstract

UD Sulur Jati is a company engaged in the production of wooden crafts. Based on the results of the study, this company still uses a manual recording system to store data, which makes the data very vulnerable to the risk of loss or damage. To overcome this problem, this study utilizes technology by developing an inventory application. This application is designed to record product orders, manage raw material inventory before the production process, and record finished goods according to the orders received. The system developed includes a web and mobile platform, where the web application is built using the PHP programming language and can be accessed by administrative staff, while MySQL is used as a database to store information. The mobile application, on the other hand, is developed using Dart and is designed to be accessed by the company owner. The result of this system development is an application that is able to increase the efficiency of the data recording and monitoring process, reduce errors that often occur due to the use of manual recording methods, and increase accuracy and efficiency in inventory management at UD Sulur Jati.

Abstract

This study analyzes the discourse of public relations communication in the management of messages and impressions presented through the YouTube content "Kehidupan Talitha Curtis" ("The Life of Talitha Curtis"). Talitha Curtis is a public figure whose life story has been marked by controversy surrounding aspects of her heritage, upbringing, and personal attributes, leading to negative stigma. However, through a strategic public relations approach, the narrative of Talitha’s life in this content is carefully crafted to construct a positive image of her as a resilient and strong individual. The research employs critical discourse analysis, focusing on textual elements, discursive practices, and social context to explore how Talitha Curtis leverages public relations communication to reposition her image in the public eye. The findings reveal that the content integrates elements of personal storytelling with emotionally evocative visuals to foster audience engagement. Additionally, the narrative consistently highlights Talitha's personal transformation journey, which creates a positive psychological impact on viewers and reinforces her social capital, enabling her reacceptance in the celebrity world.This study contributes to understanding how message and impression management through digital media can serve as an effective tool for repositioning public figures' images, particularly in reconciling an image affected by past controversies.

Abstract

Stunting is one of the problems of toddler growth, making toddlers susceptible to disease. Efforts to prevent stunting with routine checks every month. Posyandu Sukasejati is a facility for routinely checking the growth of toddlers, but data collection requires early stunting analysis to help health workers reduce the number of stunting statuses in toddlers. Previous research on stunting prediction using the Naive Bayes Machine Learning algorithm has been carried out, but the level of accuracy is still low, so accuracy improvement techniques are needed to provide accurate information. The purpose of the study was to implement the Bagging method to improve accuracy and the discretization technique to change continuous attributes to categorical in the Naïve Bayes Machine Learning algorithm in predicting stunting in toddlers, the results of the study showed an increase in accuracy, recall, and precision using a combination of the Bagging method and the Naïve Bayes algorithm, namely accuracy of 100% increased by 5.83% compared to using the Naïve Bayes algorithm alone, which was 94.17% and an increase in recall and precision results of 28.33%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of new media in political communication in the Society 5.0 era, focusing on the effectiveness of digital platforms such as social media in facilitating interaction between politicians and the public. Using a qualitative method with a library research approach, data was collected from various literature and analyzed through Atlas.ti software. The results show that new media plays a central role in building political image, increasing public participation, and enabling more personalized and interactive two-way communication. However, the research also reveals challenges such as societal polarization and disinformation that can affect the quality of democracy. However, social media is considered effective in reaching the younger generation and mobilizing public opinion. This study emphasizes the importance of technological innovation and ethical strategies in utilizing new media to create inclusive and responsive political communication to the needs of society in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to implement the Weighted Moving Average method for forecasting milk sales at PT. Superindo Utama Jaya. Data were collected through field observations, covering sales from January to December 2023. The research applies time series analysis and the Weighted Moving Average method to forecast sales from July 2023 to July 2024, with the following results: 4,822.95; 4,871.57; 4,973.04; 5,151.90; 5,385.71; 5,420.04; 5,020.85; 5,203.76; 5,181.46; 5,151.71; 5,127.70; 5,128.26; 5,142.26. The Mean Absolute Error (MAE) and Mean Squared Error (MSE) were calculated, resulting in an MAE of 0.021% and an MSE of 209,932.99.

Abstract

When a crisis occurs in a company, the position of Public Relations becomes the center of how the company takes action to maintain its reputation and positive image. Some time ago, Perum BULOG was in the spotlight in the case of rice import demurrage. The descriptive qualitative method was used as a research with data collection in the form of participatory observation, in-depth interviews and literature reviews. The results of the study found that Perum BULOG attempted to deal with this crisis by providing an open explanation to the public and stakeholders regarding the causes of the rice import demurrage case and the mitigation steps that have been and will be taken.

Abstract

This study analyzes the use of persuasive language in candidate pair name abbreviations as a political branding strategy in the 2024 regent and deputy regent elections in Indonesia. A netnographic approach was employed to examine digital interactions on social media, online news platforms, and campaign platforms, with data collected from January to November 2024. Thematic analysis was conducted to identify linguistic patterns, socio-cultural relevance, and public responses to candidate pair name abbreviations. The results indicate that elements of persuasive language, such as alliterations, acronyms, and metaphors, often create abbreviations that are memorable and emotionally resonant. Local social and cultural contexts also play a significant role, with candidate pairs adapting symbols or terms specific to their regions to gain voter sympathy. Public responses to these abbreviations vary depending on their relevance and appeal, with creative abbreviations generally receiving more positive interactions on social media. Consistent digital strategies, such as hashtags and interactive visual content, further enhance the effectiveness of political branding for candidate pairs. This research provides new insights into political communication in the digital era, particularly in the context of regional elections. The findings underscore the importance of integrating linguistic, social, and digital elements in building a compelling political image. Additionally, the study contributes to the literature on persuasive language and political branding while offering practical guidance for campaign teams in designing innovative communication strategies.

Abstract

This study discusses the potential of AIpreneurship - the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into entrepreneurial practices - to help students use digital technology as a strategic tool in entrepreneurship. Amidst the economic challenges of the post-COVID-19 pandemic, AI technology is emerging as an innovative solution that can improve efficiency, accelerate decision-making, and facilitate product innovation. In this context, students can not only enhance their entrepreneurial skills, but also gain the confidence to start new competitive ventures in the digital age. Through a systematic literature review, this study identifies the benefits of AIpreneurship as well as the implementation challenges, such as limited access to technology and high costs. The findings are expected to increase the understanding of AIpreneurship among university students and provide recommendations for educational institutions to support the adoption of AI in entrepreneurship education.

Abstract

This study analyzes the campaign strategy of the Sherly Tjoanda Laos and Sarbin Sehe pair in the 2024 North Maluku gubernatorial election with a focus on three main aspects, namely media, campaign tactics, and mass mobilization. This pair utilizes digital media such as TikTok and Instagram to reach young voters, as well as traditional media for groups of people who are less exposed to the internet. The campaign tactics they use include large-scale campaigns, personal approaches, public debates, and strengthening local cultural elements. Mass mobilization is carried out through large events and door-to-door approaches. The results of the analysis show that this strategy is effective in building emotional connections with voters, creating a positive image, and reaching various segments of society. The challenges in the form of negative campaigns are responded to with professionalism, prioritizing clarification of facts, and strengthening work programs. This study concludes that the combination of modern communication, personal approaches, and local adaptation are the keys to the success of their political campaign.
