Abstract

Academic supervision plays a strategic role in ensuring the quality of learning in educational institutions, including at YLA Cibadak Vocational School. This research aims to explore the role of academic supervision in improving the quality of learning through a collaboration-oriented approach, developing teacher competence, and pedagogical innovation. Using descriptive qualitative research methods, data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews, and analysis of supervision documents. The research results show that effective academic supervision not only functions as an evaluation tool, but also as a medium for educational transformation that involves teachers as strategic partners. The main findings underline the importance of two-way communication patterns, preparing needs-based follow-up plans, and empowering teachers through ongoing training and mentoring. This research recommends a supervision model based on empathy and local contextualization that is able to answer the unique needs of SMK YLA Cibadak, as well as being an inspiration for other institutions. With this approach, academic supervision can be a driving force in creating a dynamic, adaptive and quality-oriented learning ecosystem.

Abstract

The 21st century is characterized by globalization and technological advances that require students to have critical thinking abilities as part of 21st century skills, such as digital literacy, creative thinking, effective communication, and high productivity. These abilities are important to help students solve problems logically and effectively. For this reason, educators need to create relevant learning scenarios, one of which is through the project-based learning (PjBL) model (Hartini 2017), which is centered on solving problem-based projects. However, students' critical thinking skills in science learning in elementary schools are still not optimal due to the lack of appropriate learning media. This research uses a literature review method using a qualitative approach, explaining that various kinds of digital media inventions, such as educational games, videos, YouTube, PowerPoint, AR/VR, & educational implementation (Ruang Guru, Quipper School, Kelas Pintar), can be effective in improving students' critical thinking skills in science learning.

Abstract

Leaders are the decisive factors in the success or failure of an organization and effort. Whether in the business or in education, health, company, relegi, social, political, state government, and so forth, a leader's quality determines the success of an institution or organization. Leadership is an unavoidable social fact of arranging relationships between individuals associated with one society. Where each individual has a collective purpose that wants to be realized together in society. On this research will be concerned about how leadership education in human resources. As for the research methods used in this study are qualitative research methods, to be exact library research. With a documentary data collection technique and data analysis analysis of content analysis. The results of this study show that the ideal nature of leaders in Islam is knowledge, the spirit of calling upon goodness, noble virtue, istiqomah, patience, justice, honesty, discipline, the soul responsible and has the spirit to build. Leaders must inspire and instill a spirit of cooperation in realizing Shared vision and mission.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of technology-based learning media in increasing the reading interest of elementary school (SD) students in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis in several schools that have implemented technology in the learning process. So that data collection techniques are obtained from the results of observations, interviews, and literature studies. The results showed that the use of media such as e-books, educational apps, and interactive videos significantly increased students' interest in reading, with students showing higher enthusiasm for the reading material presented interactively. In addition, support from teachers and parents is very important in creating a conducive learning environment. These findings confirm that the integration of technology in learning not only makes the learning process more interesting, but also contributes to the improvement of literacy elementary school students. This research is expected to provide insight for educators and policymakers in designing more effective learning strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of educational management leadership in improving the quality of education in schools. In the context of education, school leadership has a significant influence on managing and developing a conducive school environment. Three research questions addressed in this study are: (1) the role of the school principal in managing education, (2) leadership strategies in creating a conducive school environment, and (3) the impact of leadership on the quality of education. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results indicate that effective leadership, such as implementing participatory leadership, fostering a positive culture, and utilizing technology in management, can enhance teachers' competencies and students' learning outcomes. The study also finds that principals who successfully create a positive school culture contribute to increasing motivation and performance among all school members.

Abstract

Local wisdom is an essential element in understanding the cultural identity of a society. In Papua, local wisdom encompasses knowledge, values, and practices that have been passed down through generations. This article discusses the importance of exploring and preserving local wisdom in Papua, as well as the challenges posed by globalization and climate change. By employing a set theory approach, the author analyzes how local wisdom can be categorized and understood within a broader cultural context. Through education and collaboration, it is hoped that local wisdom can continue to thrive and contribute to sustainable development.

Abstract

Improving the quality of education is highly dependent on the professional and effective performance of teachers. This article integrates findings from various studies related to teacher performance evaluation, principal supervision, and teacher professionalism. The results of the study indicate that systematic teacher performance evaluation is able to identify weaknesses and provide opportunities for teacher competency development. In addition, the role of the principal as a supervisor and participatory leader contributes significantly to work motivation and improving teacher professionalism. Performance-based supervision is the main strategy in managing education to ensure optimal learning quality. Teacher work motivation is also found to be an important supporting factor in achieving better learning outcomes. The implication of the synergy between performance evaluation, principal supervision, and work motivation is the creation of an educational environment that is conducive to the development of teacher professionalism, which ultimately has an impact on improving the quality of education. This study provides recommendations for education stakeholders to strengthen the evaluation and supervision system in supporting sustainable teacher performance.

Abstract

At the management theory lutter gulick advanced, that budgeting is the central part of management. The program will pass premeditated when the funding is sufficient to finance the program. Including the principal's needs program. Unfortunately, though, the school principal's needs are rarely given a clear signal, and if they are realized, others like the mark up of the budget may arise. Such issues require resolution so that there is no swelling in the budgetary process, to which this inscription appears. As for the research methods used in this study are qualitative research methods, to be exact library research. With a documentary data collection technique and data analysis analysis of content analysis. His research was a projection of the principal's needs essential to the quality of education. This need has to adjust the dynamic growth of schools and policies. The main challenges include a lack of a competent headmaster, an unstandardized recruiting process, anda difficult mapping of needs in the area. Effective solutions include sustained training, instructional leadership, and stakeholder collaboration.

Abstract

Education is an essential component in an individual’s life which plays a role in providing self-development, determining the future, and forming national identity. In the educational process, reading skills are an important aspect because reading is the key to gaining knowledge. A high interest in reading will encourage students to learn independently and broaden their horizons. However, interest in reading is often influenced by internal factors such as understanding the benefits of reading, and external factors such as the social environment and the availability of learning media. Games Book-based learning media is one solution to increase students’ reading interest. This media combines game elements with learning, creating an interactive and fun learning atmosphere. Games Books are also able to stimulate creativity, increase learning motivation, and support collaborative learning. In its implementation, this media is designed to attract students’ attention with educational games such as mazes, puzzles, puzzles and other games. As a result, the use of this media has proven to be effective in increasing students’ reading interest. This research aims to explore the potential of using Games Books in increasing students’ reading interest, especially at the elementary school level. With a creative educational approach, it is hoped that this media can make a positive contribution to the learning process, support the achievement of educational goals, and create meaningful learning experiences.

Abstract

The discussion method is an effective learning strategy for enhancing student engagement in the learning process. In this process, the teacher's role is crucial in creating an environment that supports active interaction and collaboration among students. This study identifies several key roles of the teacher in the discussion method, including being a facilitator, topic organizer, process guide, and feedback provider. The research findings indicate that teachers who actively facilitate discussions can increase student participation, develop critical thinking skills, and create a positive learning atmosphere. By effectively applying the discussion method, teachers can maximize students' potential in achieving the desired learning objectives.
