Abstract

Industri tanaman hias anggrek mengalami pertumbuhan signifikan terhadap pasar global yaitu mencapai USD 302,5 juta pada tahun 2024, namun efisiensi pemasaran di tingkat lokal masih menghadapi tantangan kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat efisiensi pemasaran tanaman hias anggrek di Kota Palangkaraya melalui pendekatan mixed method dengan desain convergent parallel. Data dikumpulkan dari 45 petani produsen, 20 pedagang distributor, dan 150 konsumen menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan periode observasi Januari-Juli 2025. Analisis Data Envelopment Analysis digunakan untuk mengukur efisiensi teknis, analisis margin pemasaran menggunakan formula Shepherd, dan analisis regresi berganda untuk mengidentifikasi faktor determinan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan lima pola distribusi utama dengan saluran langsung produsen-konsumen mendominasi 35,6%, tingkat efisiensi teknis rata-rata 0,742 dengan potensi peningkatan 25,8%, dan hanya 28,9% unit produksi mencapai efisiensi optimal. Total margin pemasaran mencapai 61,5% dengan bagian produsen 38,5%, dimana margin tertinggi pada tingkat pengecer 35,0%. Analisis regresi mengidentifikasi skala produksi sebagai faktor determinan terkuat (β = 0,387), diikuti teknologi budidaya (β = 0,312) dan akses informasi pasar (β = 0,298) dengan model menjelaskan 72,4% variasi efisiensi. Strategi optimalisasi diperlukan melalui peningkatan skala produksi, implementasi teknologi modern, pengembangan infrastruktur digital, dan restrukturisasi saluran distribusi untuk meningkatkan daya saing industri anggrek lokal.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan permintaan dan penawaran kedelai di Indonesia, serta mengidentifikasi fenomena dan tantangan yang mempengaruhi perubahannya. Objek penelitian adalah kedelai sebagai komoditas strategis, menggunakan data deret waktu 1993–2022 yang bersumber dari BPS dan FAO. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif kuantitatif melalui perhitungan rata-rata, laju pertumbuhan, dan penggunaan boxplot untuk menampilkan pola distribusi serta kesenjangan antara produksi, konsumsi, dan impor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tren peningkatan permintaan kedelai yang sejalan dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk, kenaikan daya beli, dan ekspansi industri olahan kedelai. Penawaran juga mengalami tren peningkatan, namun sebagian besar dipenuhi melalui impor karena produksi dalam negeri relatif stagnan dan cenderung menurun. Kondisi ini menggambarkan ketimpangan antara permintaan dan produksi. Harga kedelai domestik terbukti bergerak mengikuti harga impor yang berpengaruh terhadap harga di tingkat konsumen sehingga mempengaruhi permintaan dan penawaran kedelai di Indonesia. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa dinamika permintaan dan penawaran kedelai di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh banyak faktor, salah satunya ketergantungan Indonesia pada kedelai impor akibat rendahnya kapasitas produksi nasional. Untuk mengurangi ketergantungan tersebut, diperlukan upaya peningkatan produktivitas melalui penggunaan varietas unggul, perluasan areal tanam, dan kebijakan harga yang mendukung petani. Hasil penelitian diharapkan menjadi masukan bagi perumusan kebijakan ketahanan pangan berbasis kedelai.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the socio-economics of capture fisheries in the coastal areas of East Aceh Regency. The socio-economic conditions of capture fisheries are studied using qualitative and quantitative descriptive approaches, including fishermen's activities in fishing, capture fisheries resources, and the economic potential of capture fisheries. Analysis of fishermen's income is carried out to calculate the amount of income and the amount of income distribution among capture fisheries business actors. The results of the study indicate that the potential of fisheries has not been optimally utilized, indicated by the socio-demographic conditions of fishermen who are full of limitations in fishing, difficult access to credit, limited fishing facilities, suboptimal performance of fisheries institutions, no access to capital for fishermen, minimal investment in fish processing, resulting in fish being widely marketed in fresh form. Fishermen's income is still low due to fluctuations in fish catches, limited fishing facilities, and the undeveloped fish processing business. The development of an environmentally conscious aquaculture creative economy, increasing supervision and quality control of fisheries businesses, developing minapolitan fisheries industrialization and marine resources can increase fishermen's income and the welfare of coastal communities in the utilization of marine and fisheries resources.

Abstract

Kemajuan sektor pertanian memerlukan SDM yang berkualitas untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan penyediaan pangan yang aman dan berkelanjutan. Penguatan kapasitas petani dan kelembagaan menjadi kunci agar mampu bersaing secara global, melalui pendekatan terpadu berbasis pengetahuan yang dikenal sebagai manajemen pengetahuan. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk menganalisis kapasitas petani hortikultura, menganalisis pola kelembagaan petani hortikultura, menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan kelembagaan ekonomi petani, serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan kapasitas dan kelembagaan ekonomi petani hortikultura di Kecamatan Golewa Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder serta dianalisis secara statistik deskriptif, analisis pemodelan SEM PLS dan analisis deskriptif kualitatif untuk perumusan model strategi pengembangan kapasitas dan kelembagaan ekonomi petani. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Kapasitas Petani memperoleh nilai skala 3,97 dengan ketegori Baik. Selanjutnya pola kelembagaan yang terbentuk di lokasi penelitian adalah pola koperasi tani simpan pinjam dan pola kelompok tani sosial. Sedangkan faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kelembagaan ekonomi adalah kapasitas secara jalur tidak berpengaruh terhadap kelembagaan ekonomi melainkan harus melalui pola kelembagaan. Sedangkan kapasitas berpengaruh terhadap pola kelembagaan begitupun juga dengan pola kelembagaan berpengaruh terhadap kelembagaan ekonomi. Strategi pengembangan ekonomi petani yaiu peningkatan kapasitas petani yang harus didukung oleh kebijakan pemerintah, pendampingan intensif dan transformasi pola kelembagaan menuju kelembagaan ekonomi yang kuat dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The use of agricultural technology in rice cultivation in North Insana Kecamatan is still very rudimentary. To increase rice productivity, farmers have attempted to develop integrated crop management (ICM) techniques, a series of techniques that can be adapted to local climatic conditions. This study involved 95 respondents from rice farmers in North Insana District. Data analysis used a struges analysis tool. The results showed that the average quality of integrated crop management (ICM) components among farmerJurnal Agrifos reached 43%. This value is considered low, indicating that few farmers have adopted the quality of integrated crop management (ICM) components, such as the use of easy-to-seed seedlings, the number of seedlings per hole, and harvesting according to the age of New Superior Varieties (VUB).

Abstract

Cireundeu Traditional Village is recognized for its utilization of cassava as an alternative in food diversification efforts and in sustaining local food security. Despite this potential, the existing cassava agribusiness system remains inefficient, leading to suboptimal economic returns. This study aims to map the cassava agribusiness value chain and formulate strategies for its development in Cireundeu Traditional Village. The research was conducted from August to October 2025 in Cireundeu Traditional Village, Leuwigajah, Cimahi City, employing a mixed-method approach that included in-depth interviews, observations, documentation, and surveys. The collected data were analyzed using value chain and SWOT analyses. Findings indicate that the cassava agribusiness value chain structure in Cireundeu Traditional Village is still relatively simple, as most marketing activities are centered on the local market. The main actors in the value chain consist of farmers, processors of semi-finished cassava products, custom-based MSMEs, producers of finished goods, as well as retailers and resellers. The development of cassava agribusiness in this area can be pursued through strategies such as enhancing production technology capacity and strengthening digital-based promotion efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the Madu Linot HJ business using a SWOT analysis approach. Research data were collected through interviews, observations, and questionnaires involving the business owner and consumers. The analysis was conducted using the IFE, EFE, and SWOT matrices. The IFE matrix analysis resulted in a total score of 4.00, indicating that the company’s internal position is very strong in leveraging its existing strengths. The EFE analysis produced scores ranging from 3.12 (consumer perception) to 3.90 (owner perception), reflecting the company’s excellent response to market opportunities. The SWOT quadrant mapping places Madu Linot HJ in Quadrant I (aggressive strategy), indicating a favorable growth position. Competitiveness improvement strategies focus on maximizing product quality advantages and managerial experience to exploit market opportunities. Recommended strategies include: (1) integration strategy through expanding distribution networks to pharmacies and supermarkets; (2) increasing market penetration through optimized digital promotion and educational content; (3) developing production capacity through modern cultivation techniques to minimize seasonal dependency; and (4) strengthening product legality through BPOM and Halal certification to address the threat of counterfeit honey. The implementation of these aggressive strategies is expected to sustainably strengthen the company’s competitive position in the non-timber forest products industry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine  the existing  condition of the robusta coffee supply chain performance in Sungai TFull City after Geographical Indication certification, analyze the robusta coffee marketing margin in each marketing channel involving coffee farmers, collecting traders, and Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) and find out  the existing conditions The research method uses quantitative and qualitative descriptive approaches involving 268 farmers, 19 collectors, and 15 coffee small and medium industry players (SMEs). Data were analyzed through the identification of marketing channels, calculation of marketing margins, and farmer's share, as well as qualitative descriptive analysis of the use of IG certification. The results of the study show that there are two main marketing channels, namely Channel I (farmers-collector traders– small and medium industries (SMEs) coffee) and Channel II (farmers– small and medium industries (SMEs) coffee). Farmer's share on Channel I is only 7.69%, while on Channel II it reaches 38.46%. Margin analysis shows that the Small and Medium Coffee Industry (SMEs) control around 66.7% of the total margin, reflecting the weak bargaining position of farmers. However, IG certification improves product reputation and opens up wider market access, but its utilization is not optimal because the use of the IG logo is not consistent and the economic benefits have not been evenly distributed, especially at the farmer level. This study concludes that IG certification has not had a significant impact on improving the welfare of farmers due to the weak internalization of IG values and institutional strengthening. Strengthening farmer organizations, vertical integration of supply chains, and sustainable policy support is needed so that the benefits of IG certification can be distributed fairly and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing Indonesia’s international rubber trade with its main partner countries using the Gravity Model approach. This model assumes that the volume of trade between countries is affected by economic size (GDP), geographical distance, exchange rates, as well as historical and institutional factors. Panel data covering the period from 2005 to 2023 is used, involving 15 major trading partners, including China, the United States, Japan, and ASEAN countries. The estimation results show that the model has strong explanatory power, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.7987. The GDP of partner countries has a positive and significant effect on Indonesia’s rubber exports, indicating that the economic capacity of importing countries strongly determines the demand for this primary commodity. The exchange rate also shows a positive and significant influence, suggesting that rupiah depreciation enhances the competitiveness of Indonesia’s rubber exports. In contrast, Indonesia’s own GDP, geographic distance, RTA, official language, and colonial ties do not have a significant effect on trade volume. However, the contiguity variable is significantly positive, highlighting the importance of physical proximity in improving logistics efficiency and distribution. These findings indicate that Indonesia’s rubber export strategy should emphasize external economic factors and logistics efficiency, rather than relying solely on historical ties. This study offers policy implications to strengthen export competitiveness through exchange rate management and strategic partner mapping.

Abstract

Food is the second pillar of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Currently, food challenges are evolving from mere production quantity issues to product quality issues. Rising public awareness of food safety is driving the popularity of organic markets, with organic rice a key commodity based on market demand in Indonesia. This study analyzes the motivation levels of farmers in Karanganyar Regency in implementing organic farming systems through the perspective of Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs Theory. Research findings reveal that farmer motivation is high across all levels of need. The need for love is the primary driver, with the highest score (3.93), underscoring the importance of relationships between farmers. Although farmers' perceptions of organic farming systems are very positive, an anomaly has been observed in the form of a decline in the number of farmers in the field. The primary cause is demographic factors, with the majority of farmers being pre-elderly and elderly. This situation threatens food sustainability, necessitating regeneration measures and more accurate farmer data improvements to maintain national food stability.
