This research aims to explain the impact of training or professional development for teachers during their service, and the extent to which this is permitted in developing human resources in the workplace. The teaching profession, like other professions, needs to develop and improve the skills of its members to increase the effectiveness of their performance and carry out their roles optimally. Vocational training is part of achieving the goals of the educational process. For example, teachers need to update their knowledge and skills to develop students' abilities. Therefore, the development of professional qualitative programs serves to provide modern knowledge and advanced skills, as well as ensuring their application and integration into classroom activities. In this context, individual differences between teachers are taken into account in several aspects according to their level of experience and professional qualifications. It also pays special attention to the psychological needs of some school members, represented in the desire to support their peers and give them feedback, and the need for some teachers to participate effectively in developing their school. Due to the nature of research, researchers use a descriptive approach to obtain scientific information and material related to the subject. The research results concluded that professional development programs and their types had a positive impact on teacher development performance during their service.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an interactive media-based training e-module to enhance employee performance management at PT. DMA is a company operating in the oil palm plantation industry. The primary challenge lies in the competency gaps among supervisors and managerial staff, negatively impacting leadership, innovation, and productivity. Traditional training methods have proven ineffective in addressing these issues. Therefore, this study proposes the use of interactive media-based e-modules to offer a more adaptive, participatory, and technology-driven learning experience. The research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The developed e-module underwent expert validation and was rated highly: media experts (92%), instructional design experts (91%), material experts (87%), teacher users (92%), small group testing (87%), and large group testing (86%). These findings indicate that the e-module is feasible for employee training activities at PT. DMA. Effectiveness was further supported by data showing an increase in average test scores from 51 (pre-test) to 87 (post-test). The N-Gain test produced a score of 0.7, categorized as “effective.” In conclusion, the use of interactive media-based e-modules in performance management training is effective in improving learning outcomes and has strong potential to support employee development at PT. DMA.

This research aims to explore the conceptual connection between Guru Penggerak and leadership within organizational culture from the perspective of social change. This research employs library research with a descriptive method to elaborate on the concepts discussed in the study. Anthony Giddens’ Structuration Theory is the analytical tool to conceptually understand Guru Penggerak as a social agency. The research highlights Guru Penggerak as a social agent capable of influencing and shaping school culture. The findings suggest that the leadership practices embodied in the Guru Penggerak program can contribute meaningfully to the development and transformation of organizational culture within educational institutions. Abstract

The research conducted is a bibliometric analysis related to the application of augmented reality in the field of education in the world. It aims to investigate its application in world education, how it affects students' learning skills, and provides insights for future educational practices. Utilizing the Publish or Perish tool, the research methodology employed a keyword search for "Augmented Reality" and derived from Scopus from 2018 to 2024. A specific topic of "in Education" was then chosen, yielding 52 relevant papers out of the initial 133 search articles. The Mendeley and Vosviewer apps are used to gather metadata to generate visualizations (Network and Density) of the databases containing the first and last search results. According to the research findings that have been visualized, augmented reality is required in the field of education to support the learning process itself and enhance the abilities and learning outcomes of high school students. According to earlier studies, augmented reality has a significant positive impact on both teachers and pupils when used in secondary education.

Abstract

This study investigates the feasibility of restoring waqf-based endowments as a long-term method for improving teacher education and training in Northern Nigeria. Drawing on historical and present waqf models, the research investigates how this Islamic philanthropic organization might solve teacher shortages, low training quality, and imbalances in educational service delivery.  The study employs a qualitative research methodology that includes document analysis, expert interviews, and case studies from various Islamic institutions.  The findings show that waqf has historically played an important role in financing education in Muslim communities, but it has fallen due to colonial interruptions, legal limits, and a lack of public awareness. The research suggests that reviving and updating waqf through proper legislation, community participation, and integration with public-private partnerships can considerably improve the quality and accessibility of teacher training in underprivileged areas.  Recommendations are provided for government agencies, religious leaders, NGOs, and communities to collaborate in building waqf-based teacher education projects to reposition and assure sustainable teacher training in Northern Nigeria.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing traditional games on the basic motor skills of phase A students at SDN 2 Buluagung, Karangan District, Trenggalek Regency. This study was motivated by the importance of learning Physical Education, Sports, and Health (PJOK) in improving motor skills, physical fitness, and character of students through physical activities. The results showed that the basic motor skills of phase A students increased significantly after the implementation of traditional games. In the pre-test, 17 students were in the very low category with the smallest motor quotient score of 46 and the largest 67. In the post-test, basic motor skills increased with 12 students in the average category, 4 in the above average category, and 1 in the below average category, with the smallest motor quotient score of 79 and the largest 106. The normality test showed that the data was not normally distributed, so the analysis was carried out using a non-parametric test. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed an increase in the basic motor skills of students after being given treatment. After being calculated using the N-Gain formula, the effectiveness of the implementation of traditional games reached a score of 90.76%, with a minimum value of 61.11 and a maximum value of 114.29. This study concludes that the implementation of traditional games has an effect and is effective in improving the basic motor skills of phase A students at SDN 2 Buluagung. In addition, this study contributes to the preservation of traditional games and offers an alternative method of learning PJOK that is interesting and effective.
