Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of entrepreneurship education and income expectations on the entrepreneurial interest of students in the Administrative Economics Study Program at Jakarta State University. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative descriptive approach. Data were obtained through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the SmartPLS tool. The results show that partially, entrepreneurship education has a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Income expectations also show a positive and significant effect on entrepreneurial interest. Both variables are able to explain 51.7% of the variability in entrepreneurial interest (adjusted R-square = 0.517). These findings indicate that entrepreneurship education and income expectations are important factors in shaping students' interest in becoming entrepreneurs. This study contributes to the development of more contextual entrepreneurship education strategies in public universities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of critical thinking skills and participation in extracurricular activities on students problem-solving ability at SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. The research employed a quantitative method with a survey approach. The sample consisted of 72 respondents selected through non-probability sampling using the saturated sampling technique. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that critical thinking skills and participation in extracurricular activities simultaneously have a significant effect on students problem-solving ability, with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 58.7%. Partially, critical thinking skills significantly influence problem-solving ability, especially in the indicator of building basic skills. Participation in extracurricular activities also shows a significant influence, with mental engagement being the most dominant indicator. These findings support the theory that adequate critical thinking skills and consistent participation in extracurricular activities can enhance students ability to solve problems.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how self-confidence and parental support influence students' career decision-making in vocational high schools. Using a quantitative approach and a purposeful random sampling procedure, 118 students were selected as a sample from the 179 students who answered, as indicated by the Isaac and Michael table. Questionnaires were used to gather data, and SPSS version 21 was used for analysis.  The analysis method includes prerequisite tests, conventional assumption tests, and hypothesis testing, including t-tests, f-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The study's findings suggest that students' vocational decision-making is positively and significantly impacted, partially and simultaneously, by both parental support and self-efficacy. These results highlight how crucial student self-belief and parental participation are in fostering their preparedness for the profession.  In practice, the findings of this study can be used as a foundation or point of reference for more research.

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the low level of work readiness of vocational high school graduates as reflected in open unemployment data and the low percentage of graduates who work immediately after graduation. This study aims to determine the effect of Field Work Practice, Self-Efficacy, and Career Guidance on students' Work Readiness. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a sampling technique, namely proportional random sampling, with a sample size of 125 students. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert Scale of 1-5. The data analysis technique in this study used descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. The results of the analysis show that field work practice has a significant but negative effect on work readiness, while self-efficacy and career guidance have a positive and significant effect. These findings emphasize the need to review the Field Work Practice system which has a negative impact on students' work readiness, as well as the importance of strengthening self-efficacy and career guidance services as strategies to improve overall work readiness.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and test the feasibility of a PHPRAD-based Electronic Archive learning media to improve digital archiving skills at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta. This study employs a Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Data for this research were collected through validation by two material experts and two media experts, as well as response questionnaires from 32 students following a field trial. The data analysis technique used in this study combines descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the feasibility test yielded a score of 96.67% from material experts, 76.66% from media experts, and 87.84% from student responses, resulting in an overall average feasibility score of 87.06%, which is categorized as “Very Suitable.” Based on these results, the Electronic Archive learning media is deemed highly feasible and suitable as an alternative learning tool for the Digital Archiving material at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta. This learning media effectively bridges the gap in digital archiving education by providing an innovative teaching tool. Furthermore, it also supports the mastery of practical skills relevant to the demands of the workforce, making it a highly recommended solution for optimizing the learning process at SMK Negeri 44 Jakarta.
