Abstract

Currently, herbal medicine is an alternative choice that is of interest to people in various parts of the world. Especially Indonesia, as one of the countries rich in crops, Indonesia began to utilize herbal plants to be managed as an alternative in the treatment of various disease complaints. There are several herbs and spices used in Indonesia, including beetroot, lemon and lemongrass, which have been proven to be used in overcoming anemia in pregnant women and can help the postpartum recovery process and prevent postpartum bleeding. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to the community about the benefits of herbal plants for the treatment of anemic pregnant women and postpartum recovery. The activity was carried out at Posyandu Bugenville in dukuh village. The results of the activity obtained increased community knowledge about the benefits of herbal plants beet-lemon and sere-lemon for improving community health.

Abstract

Religious education is a great foundation to children's character and personality building. Religious education in the community is carried out through various activities, including the Maghrib Reciting Quran education program. The Maghrib Reciting Quran education program is carried out as an effort to children's character building in Walahar Village, Gempol District, Cirebon Regency. The method used in this PkM is Participatory Action Research (PAR). The Maghrib Reciting Quran activity is carried out after the Maghrib prayer in congregation by introducing the hijaiyah letters for children who are not yet able and not yet fluent in reading the Quran. Through the Maghrib Reciting Quran education program, children’s characters building are: (1) Religious, (2) Disciplined, (3) Tolerant, (4) National spirit, (5) Hard work, (6) Cooperation, (7) Friendly, (8) Love peace, (9) Love to reciting Quran, (10) Respect each other, (11) Care for the environment, and (12) Care for society.

Abstract

Fish trap is one of the fishing tools that is often used at night. This fishing gear is used in irrigation or swamps. The purpose of this activity is to provide education to participants about traditional fishing gear to foster awareness in protecting the environment. Community service activities were carried out in Cot Suruy village, Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar Regency. This service activity was attended by 10 participants who were dominated by children. This activity was carried out in three stages, including socialization and counseling, demonstrations of the practice of using bubu fishing gear, discussion and evaluation. The results of this service activity can be concluded that this activity has a positive impact on the participants, in this case they care about the environment and are ready to preserve local wisdom.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide training for students and lecturers of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, specific training on using the Frontier 4.1c software. The software is used to analyze problems related to efficiency measurement using a stochastic approach, commonly referred to as SFA (Stochastic Frontier Analysis). The training is conducted online. The participants are equipped with knowledge of production theory, basic SFA theory, inputting data and the running of the data, as well as result interpretation. The method used in this community service is EAR (Educational Action Research) to address the issue of participants' lack of understanding of SFA. This training benefits participants, most of whom are students, by providing them with proficiency in using software for efficiency measurement using the stochastic (SFA) approach.

Abstract

The empowerment program for the underprivileged family of “Ibu Sedah” in Meruyung, Depok, aims to enhance economic independence through an educational approach based on Muhammadiyah values. This program was implemented by students and lectures from the Communication Studies Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Jakarta as part of the Al-Islam Kemuhammadiyahan course. The study adopted the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method to ensure active involvement of the beneficiares. The main subject of this program is Ibu Sedah, a 61st year old single mother who relies on an uncertain income from her nasi uduk business. Throgh surveys, interviews, and selection, the implementation team identified her primary needs. Activies in this program included fundraising, provision of business capital, as well as training in business management and educational motivation for her child. As a result, Ibu Sedah’s bussiness capacity improved and became more sustainable, while her child received educational support. This program highlights the importance of synergy between education, emprowerment, and community service in addressing poverty. The study serves as a reference for continuing similar programs with broader scope and sustainable approaches.

Abstract

PKK Desa Bahilang memiliki empat pokja salah satunya bidang kewirausahaan. Pokja bidang kewirausahaan belum memiliki kegiatan usaha yang fokus dalam pemanfaatan potensi lokal Desa Bahilang. Potensi lokal Desa Bahilang salah satunya tanaman kelapa dalam. Limbah sabut kelapa belum termanfaatkan secara optimal. Tujuan dari artikel ini adalah memberikan edukasi kepada PKK Desa Bahilang bahwa sabut kelapa dalam dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media teknik kokedama yang mana dapat menggantikan pot tanaman dari bahan plastik. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) berkolaborasi dengan Praktikum Pemberdayaan Masarakat Prodi Agribisnis, Institut Pertanian Stiper. Metode pada pelaksanaan yang diunakan yaitu FGD dan PLA. Lokasi PkM adalah Desa Bahilang, Kecamatan Tebing Syahbandar, Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Hasil kegiatan PkM menunjukkan PKK Desa Bahilang sangat aktif dalam forum FGD dan antusias dalam pelaksanaan praktik pembuatan kokedama dari limbah sabut kelapa. Tahap evaluasi kegiatan, PKK Desa Bahilang sangat terbantu dan termotivasi untuk dapat melaksanakan lebih lanjut menjadi peluang bisnis serta masuk dalam program kerja kelompok kerja bidang kewirausahaan.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi di era digital menuntut generasi muda memiliki keterampilan kepemimpinan berbasis digital sebagai bekal penting untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Program E-Leadership for the Future: Sosialisasi Kepemimpinan Berbasis Digital sebagai Bekal Karir Pasca Sekolah bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan konsep e-leadership kepada siswa SMK, khususnya pengurus OSIS di SMK PGRI Pekanbaru. Kegiatan ini dirancang untuk mengembangkan keterampilan komunikasi digital, manajemen tim virtual, serta pengambilan keputusan berbasis data. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, diskusi interaktif, dan studi kasus untuk memfasilitasi pembelajaran yang aplikatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta memiliki pemahaman lebih baik tentang penerapan teknologi dalam kepemimpinan dan mampu merancang strategi inovatif untuk mendukung aktivitas organisasi mereka. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan daya saing generasi muda dan mendorong mereka menjadi pemimpin yang efektif di dunia profesional yang semakin digital.

Abstract

To overcome this problem, maggot cultivation from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) flies is proposed as an innovative solution. Maggot BSF is able to quickly decompose organic waste, reduce waste buildup, and produce valuable products such as organic fertilizers (kasgot) and animal feed. This strategy not only supports waste management but also opens up new business opportunities, increase community income, as well as create environmental awareness. Through training, simple infrastructure development, and collaboration with various parties, maggot cultivation is expected to be a sustainable solution that is able to empower the people of Bojo Village while preserving the environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the marketing system of maggot bsf in Bojo Village. Based on the results of observations and interviews in Bojo Village, the main problem was found, namely household waste. The garbage was thrown out of place, the garbage was found scattered on the beach and close to residential areas. The waste that is wasted includes organic waste from household waste. Organic waste can cause environmental problems such as air and soil pollution and cause various negative impacts on public health. A solution that can be done by village communities is maggot cultivation from Black Soldier Fly (BSF) flies, as an effective and easy way to manage organic waste. By cultivating maggot for organic waste, we can create a high-value resource that can have a positive impact on the environment and the economy of the village community. Maggot cultivation aims to decompose organic matter left over from household food consumption. Able to digest organic waste quickly so that it helps reduce the volume of organic waste. In addition, maggots are also able to prevent uncontrolled accumulation of waste. In fact, casgot which is the result of the decomposition of waste carried out by maggot can produce high-quality organic fertilizer that can increase soil fertility. Maggot has a high nutrient content that helps local agriculture. Maggot cultivation can also be a new business opportunity for village communities because it can be sold as animal feed. It has an impact on increasing the income of the local community.

Abstract

Tujuan dilaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah 1) untuk melakukan pelatihan dirigen sekaligus regenerasi dirigen paduan suara gereja; 2) untuk menambah minat dan semangat generasi muda menjadi dirigen dan, 3) untuk mewujudkan liturgi yang kontekstual dengan memperhatikan musik liturgi, sehingga bisa membantu Perayaan Ekaristi yang lebih bermakna. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan diawali dengan persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan pengawasn. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah remaja-remaja ini dapat mengenal berbagai jenis dan karakter birama yang lazim digunakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Kedua, peserta pelatihan mampu menjadi dirigen dimulai dengan lagu-lagu yang sederhana. Ketiga, peserta pelatihan dapat menjadi dirigen yang baik dalam perayaann Ekaristi di gereja.
