Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum positions the Project for Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) as a key instrument in character education through experiential learning. In this context, Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a strategic role, as they are responsible not only for delivering religious knowledge but also for integrating Pancasila values aligned with Islamic teachings. This study aims to describe the creativity of PAI teachers in designing P5-based learning activities, analyze the achievement of such creativity among eighth-grade students, and identify supporting and inhibiting factors in its implementation at SMPN 3 Kertek Wonosobo. This study employed a qualitative approach with a field research design and a descriptive method. Research subjects included PAI teachers, the school principal, and eighth-grade students. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PAI teachers demonstrated creativity in designing contextual and religiously meaningful project-based learning activities, such as Mosque and School Clean-Up Actions, Ramadan Charity Programs, and Literacy Projects on Tolerant Muslim Figures. The achievements of teacher creativity were reflected in increased student participation, strengthened religious and social character, responsibility, and collaborative literacy skills. Supporting factors included institutional support, teacher motivation, and student enthusiasm, while inhibiting factors involved limited facilities, time constraints, and varying student abilities.

Abstract

Kualitas pendidikan sangat ditentukan oleh profesionalisme guru dalam memenuhi kebutuhan Pembelajaran di Abad ke-21, terutama dalam menguasai keterampilan 4C yaitu Kritis, Komunikasi, Kolaborasi, dan Kreativitas. Sebagai pemimpin dalam instruksi, kepala sekolah memegang peranan kunci dalam mendukung peningkatan kompetensi guru melalui program pembinaan yang efektif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memetakan dan merumuskan model supervisi klinis kepala sekolah yang paling efisien untuk pengembangan keterampilan guru di era digital. Metode yang diterapkan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan mengevaluasi 15 artikel yang diterbitkan antara tahun 2020 hingga 2025. Analisis literatur dilakukan menggunakan metode PICO (Populasi, Intervensi, Perbandingan, Hasil) untuk memastikan kualitas serta relevansi temuan yang didapat. Hasil dari sintesis menunjukkan bahwa model yang paling efektif adalah Supervisi Klinis Diferensiasi, yang mengkombinasikan siklus perbaikan terfokus yang berbasis data dari Supervisi Klinis dengan pendekatan yang disesuaikan berdasarkan pengalaman guru. Penerapan dari model ini mencakup Supervisi Klinis intensif untuk guru pemula, Peer Coaching untuk guru berpengalaman, dan Self-Directed Supervision untuk guru yang ahli. Model ini berhasil meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang pembelajaran yang memicu Pemikiran Tingkat Tinggi (HOTS), mengintegrasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK), serta memperkuat kepercayaan diri dan praktik reflektif para guru. Penelitian ini menghasilkan sebuah kerangka teoritis yang menempatkan kepala sekolah sebagai pelatih dan mitra reflektif, memastikan bahwa pembinaan profesional bersifat sesuai, berkelanjutan, serta mampu beradaptasi dengan tantangan pendidikan yang modern.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between language and thinking from the perspectives of syntax and pragmatics. Language is not only used for communication but also reflects how humans organize thoughts and concepts. From a syntactic perspective, patterns and rules in grammar show how humans organize ideas in an orderly manner. From a pragmatic perspective, language use depends on the social situation, the purpose of speaking, and the understanding of meaning, which indicates how the thought process occurs in interactions. This study uses a qualitative approach by seeking information from various books and articles discussing linguistics and the philosophy of language. The results show that the relationship between language and thought is mutually influential: thoughts shape the way language is structured, while language influences how humans think and understand the world. In conclusion, syntax and pragmatics are two important, complementary parts in explaining the relationship between language structure and human thought processes.

Abstract

Bullying is a type of negative behavior frequently encountered in schools and has the potential to lead to legal consequences as it can be considered a crime. This research aims to analyze criminal acts of bullying from a legal perspective and their effects in the educational environment based on applicable regulations in Indonesia. The methodology used in this study is normative legal research with a legislative and conceptual approach. Data collection was carried out through a literature review of primary, secondary, and tertiary legal sources. The results of this study indicate that acts of bullying, whether physical, verbal, or psychological, meet the criteria for criminal offenses in accordance with the provisions of the Criminal Code and Law No. 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. The effects of bullying in schools include mental health issues, a decline in academic performance, and the formation of an unsupportive educational atmosphere. Therefore, there is a need for enhanced law enforcement and active involvement of educational institutions in preventing and addressing bullying to ensure the protection of children's rights.

Abstract

Globalization has significantly impacted Indonesia’s social, cultural, and ideological dynamics. The unrestricted flow of information and foreign culture presents serious challenges to the preservation of national identity. In this context, national integration serves as a key foundation to maintain unity and strengthen the awareness of Indonesia’s identity amid global transformation. This study aims to examine strategies for fostering and preserving the Indonesian national identity through the reinforcement of Pancasila values, preservation of local culture, character education, and ethical use of digital media. The research employs a library research method, referring to Myron Weiner’s theory of national integration and relevant scholarly sources on nationalism and globalization. The findings indicate that national identity awareness does not develop spontaneously but through continuous value-based education, social role models, and equitable public policies. Strengthening national integration in the globalization era is essential for enabling Indonesia to adapt to global progress while remaining rooted in its cultural heritage and national character.

Abstract

The integration of religion and science in the postmodern era has become a significant issue in the philosophy of science, particularly in response to epistemic pluralism, the weakening of singular truth claims, and the growing demand for knowledge that is both empirically grounded and ethically meaningful. This study examines the opportunities and challenges of integrating religion and science within a postmodern framework and analyzes its implications for contemporary philosophy of science. The discussion highlights a paradigm shift from a dichotomous and hierarchical relationship toward a dialogical and pluralistic model, focusing on epistemological boundaries, methodological validity, and conceptual frameworks of integration. This research employs an integrative literature review combined with hermeneutic analysis of key texts in philosophy of science, religious thought, and educational studies. The findings indicate that integrating religion and science has the potential to enrich the philosophy of science through a reflective and non-reductionist approach, particularly in addressing contemporary crises of meaning, ethics, and knowledge fragmentation. However, significant challenges remain, including divergent criteria of truth and the risk of epistemological simplification. This study conceptualizes integration as a dynamic and critical dialogical process rather than a fixed or final synthesis.

Abstract

The progress of modern science, grounded in rational and empirical approaches, has significantly contributed to human advancement while also producing epistemological challenges, particularly the secularization of knowledge that separates science from values and transcendent meaning. This condition has stimulated criticism of the claim of value neutrality in science and exposed the limitations of secular paradigms in addressing ethical, social, and human concerns. This study aims to analyze the transition from the secularization toward the reintegration of knowledge from the perspective of the philosophy of science and its relevance to the renewal of global science. Employing a qualitative literature review, this research critically examines scholarly works in the philosophy of science, sociology of knowledge, and integrative science studies published over the past decade. The findings demonstrate that although secularization remains influential in modern scientific epistemology, there is increasing scholarly recognition of the importance of integrating values into scientific practice. The reintegration of knowledge is proposed as a holistic paradigm that unites empirical, rational, ethical, and transcendent dimensions. The philosophy of science thus serves as a reflective and normative foundation for guiding scientific development toward ethical responsibility, social well-being, and meaningful human existence within a global context.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the transformation and continuity of traditional wedding customs among the Malay community in Olak Kemang Village, Jambi. Traditional wedding ceremonies reflect the cultural values and social identity of the Malay people, passed down through generations. However, modernization has brought about adaptations in its practice. This research employs a qualitative ethnographic approach through field observations, interviews with traditional leaders, and documentation of wedding ceremonies. The results show that several traditional elements, such as the berinai ritual and the menyambut besan ceremony, have been simplified, while cultural symbols like wedding attire and traditional music remain preserved as identity markers of the Jambi Malays. Modernization affects the form of performance, yet social values such as mutual cooperation, respect for elders, and communal harmony remain at the core.

Abstract

This study aims to understand the community stage in Karangwungulor Village, which functions both as an arena of collective politics and as a means of strengthening social cohesion. Adopting a qualitative approach with an ethnographic method, the study explores cultural and political practices of the villagers, manifested through a series of collective activities that serve as the foundation of social cohesion. The findings reveal that collective politics in Karangwungulor arises from active community participation, not merely from formal village governance structures, but through the opening of local public spaces where diverse social elements come together to engage in dialogue and share roles in reinforcing social cohesion. Activities such as independence thanksgiving rituals, competitions, and carnivals are not only forms of entertainment but also media for fostering solidarity, trust, and collective identity. The phenomenon of collective politics is also evident in informal spaces, such as religious gatherings, coffee stalls, and youth forums. These local public spaces serve as arenas of negotiation in building social consensus. The dynamics of “front stage” and “back stage” communication among villagers illustrate that collective politics is fluid and flexible, blending formality with everyday familiarity. This study affirms that community-based collective politics can strengthen social cohesion, enhance citizens’ political awareness, and present an alternative model of local democracy that is participatory and inclusive. Nevertheless, challenges such as interest fragmentation, group dominance, and modernization need to be anticipated so that the community stage remains a solid foundation for sustaining the village’s social cohesion.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the professionalism of Arabic language educators through the perspective of ethical philosophy and its implications for teacher competency development. The approach used is library research with a qualitative-descriptive method, through theoretical studies and critical analysis of literature related to professionalism, deontological ethics, and Arabic language education. The results of the study show that the professionalism of Arabic language teachers does not only depend on mastery of technical competencies—such as pedagogy, linguistics, and learning methodology—but also on the internalisation of ethical values such as honesty, responsibility, fairness, and cultural sensitivity. Within the framework of deontological ethics, teachers are positioned as moral agents who have an obligation to educate with integrity and social responsibility. The main challenges identified include the incompatibility of teachers' academic backgrounds, the lack of integration of professional ethics in the teacher training curriculum, and bureaucratic pressure oriented towards quantitative results. The implications of this study emphasise the importance of integrating a professional ethics curriculum, moral reflection-based training, and the establishment of a code of ethics and ethical supervision mechanisms as strategies for developing the competence of professional and ethical Arabic language teachers. Thus, the development of teacher professionalism must be directed holistically, covering technical, moral, and spiritual aspects so that Arabic language learning can take place in a meaningful and transformative manner.
