Abstract

Madrasah diniah is a non-formal educational institution that has a strategic role in learning yellow books that use Arabic Pegon. However, there are limitations in the ability to read and write Arabic Pegon in Madrasah diniah in Sumberpakem village. The purpose of this study is to improve the ability and uniformity of reading and writing Pegon in the form of training in reading and writing Arabic Pegon in Madrasah diniah Sumberpakem. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR) with a qualitative approach, involving the management of Madrasah diniah Sumberpakem, Ustadz / Ustadzah, and students with a series of stages of initial identification, collaborative mapping, formulating strategies, implementing change actions, evaluating and reviewing. The results of the study showed a significant increase in reading and writing Arabic Pegon. In addition, this study can encourage the sustainability of reading and writing Arabic Pegon based on clear sources of teaching materials.

Abstract

This community service was carried out at SD N 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung where many teachers have not taken advantage of business opportunities, so with this socialization, teachers know the steps in utilizing the environment to do entrepreneurship so that it can improve the economic welfare of the family. The initial step of the speaker will provide tips and tricks on business opportunities, and provide solutions to every problem conveyed by the participants. Entrepreneurship Socialization to Increase Interest in Entrepreneurship for Teachers of SDN 09 2X11 Enam Lingkung” generally went well, this was intended to foster the spirit and motivation of teachers in becoming entrepreneurs. And can increase teachers' insight into becoming successful and competitive entrepreneurs.

Abstract

Waste management is an important issue that affects environmental quality and public health. In an effort to increase community awareness and participation in waste management, this research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Through the PAR method, the community is directly involved in every stage of planning, implementation, and evaluation of waste management programs. This approach aims to strengthen community participation in finding solutions that are sustainable and in accordance with local needs. Activities carried out include counseling, training, and the formation of waste management groups at the neighborhood level, with an approach based on existing local potential and wisdom. The results showed that the use of the PAR method succeeded in increasing community awareness about the importance of independent and sustainable waste management. Active participation of residents in waste management can reduce the volume of waste disposed to landfills and improve environmental quality. In addition, this program also creates a sense of belonging and shared responsibility in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Overall, community-based waste management has proven to be effective in creating behavioral changes that are more environmentally friendly and sustainable, as well as building social solidarity among residents.

Abstract

Desa Tanjung Jati, Kabupaten Muara Enim, menghadapi tantangan dalam produktivitas pertanian akibat keterbatasan ketersediaan air selama musim kemarau. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan mendampingi petani dalam mengadopsi metode budidaya padi apung sebagai solusi inovatif. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui tiga tahapan: penyuluhan, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi hingga panen. Penyuluhan memberikan edukasi mengenai konsep dasar padi apung, diikuti dengan praktik pembuatan rakit apung berbahan sterofoam berukuran 1x1 meter. Media tanam terdiri dari campuran pupuk organik, sekam bakar, dan tanah, dengan bibit padi yang disemai selama 10 hari sebelum pindah tanam. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengendalikan gulma dan pemupukan menggunakan larutan ecoenzyme. Hasil panen pada usia 110 hari menunjukkan produktivitas sebesar 150 gram gabah kering per rakit, yang diproyeksikan mencapai 1,5 ton gabah kering per hektar. Metode ini terbukti aplikatif dan potensial untuk meningkatkan produktivitas padi serta memberdayakan petani secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Perkembangan sektor keuangan syariah di indonesia menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan, hal ini sejalan dengan meningkatnya kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya sistem ekonomi berbasis syariah. Salah satu lembaga keuangan mikro yang berperan dalam mendukung sistem ini adalah Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi akad mudharabah dalam produk TABAH (Tabungan Mudharabah) di KSPPS BMT NU Cabang Silo. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa produk TABAH di KSPPS BMT NU Cabang Silo menggunakan akad mudharabah mutlaqah, di mana nasabah bertindak sebagai shahibul maal dan BMT sebagai mudharib. Nisbah bagi hasil yang diterapkan adalah 40% untuk nasabah, dengan mekanisme perhitungan berdasarkan saldo rata-rata harian. Penerapan akad mudharabah dalam produk ini telah memenuhi rukun dan prinsip syariah dengan mencerminkan aspek transparansi, keadilan, akuntabilitas dalam pengelolaan dana. Kajian ini memberikan kontribusi akademis dalam pengembangan teori keuangan syariah serta manfaat praktis bagi optimalisasi pengelolaan dana di lembaga keuangan mikro syariah.

Abstract

This study explores the role of community service program (KKN) students in enhancing the enthusiasm of children in learning to recite the Qur’an at Mushola Al Jihad, Talang Empat Village. The issue addressed is the declining interest and motivation among children to attend Qur’anic learning sessions due to the lack of engaging teaching methods and limited support from local educators. The aim of this research is to identify and analyze the contributions made by KKN students in revitalizing the learning spirit among children through structured religious education activities. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation during the students’ community engagement period. The findings reveal that KKN students play a significant role in creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning environment, implementing creative teaching methods, and acting as motivators for children. Their presence also fosters greater parental involvement and community awareness regarding the importance of early religious education. The study concludes that student involvement in community-based religious education programs can effectively enhance children’s interest and participation in Qur’anic studies, thereby contributing to the broader goal of character development in rural communities.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are one of the main pillars of Indonesia's economy. However, they often face managerial and financial inefficiencies, especially in manual transaction recording. This community service project focuses on the digitalization of transaction systems through the implementation of the PosSaku cashier application at Warung Mba Merry, a culinary MSME in West Bandung. The method used includes interviews, observations, literature studies, and hands-on practice. The project aims to improve transaction recording efficiency, inventory management, and financial reporting. The application not only facilitates transaction tracking but also offers business training and a community platform. The results showed increased transaction speed, accuracy in financial data, and more structured cash flow monitoring. Although some technical obstacles were found, such as device limitations and internet connectivity, overall, the implementation was successful. This digital solution proves to be effective in helping MSMEs adapt to technology and improve business professionalism and competitiveness.

Abstract

This community service project was conducted in Talawi Hilie Village, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra, focusing on the preservation and revitalization of local traditions and cultural heritage. Using ethnographic observation and interviews, the team identified three main cultural components: the Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh) study sessions, the traditional Randai Alang Babega performance, and the historical site of Syekh Tompuo Sakati’s tomb. The fiqh sessions held at Surau Gadang serve as a platform for strengthening religious knowledge and values. The Randai performance functions as both a cultural art and a medium for character education. Additionally, the tomb of Syekh Tompuo is regarded as a valuable religious and historical site by the local community. Through this program, the community was encouraged to preserve and promote these cultural elements as part of their identity and heritage. The results showed a positive response from the locals, increased awareness, and stronger intergenerational cultural transmission.

Abstract

Education is something that is agreed to be a staple in any nation. The quality of education in a nation is one of the determinants of the nation's progress. In other words, the progress of a nation or state can be seen from the quality of education in the nation and country. Basically, the problems that occur in the low quality of education in Indonesia are basically also inherent challenges in the context of Islamic education. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. The method used is literature study. The author collects data and information from reliable journals and books for the truth and in accordance with the discussion of this article. Then with this research, it is hoped that it will be able to find solutions to improve the quality of education in Indonesia which can be reviewed from the perspective of Islamic education.

Abstract

The development of nature-based and cultural tourism plays a crucial role in improving community welfare and preserving the environment. Talawi Hilir Village, located in Sawahlunto City, has two main tourism potentials: Sawah Bawuoh and Lubuk Larangan. Sawah Bawuoh offers a vast agricultural landscape with potential development as an agro-tourism destination. Meanwhile, Lubuk Larangan is a conservation-based ecotourism site aimed at protecting aquatic ecosystems while providing economic benefits to the local community. However, tourism development in this village faces several challenges, including lack of promotion, infrastructure limitations, low community involvement in tourism management, and threats to environmental and cultural sustainability. This study employs a qualitative research method with a literature review approach to analyze tourism potential, challenges, and development strategies. The findings indicate that improving digital promotion, enhancing infrastructure, empowering local communities, and implementing environmental regulations and cultural preservation measures are key strategies for optimizing tourism management in Talawi Hilir Village. With proper strategies and active involvement from the government, community, and private sector, tourism in this village can develop sustainably, providing long-term benefits for the local economy and environmental conservation.
