Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine whether or not there is an influence of the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform on the ability to develop teaching tools for teachers in state elementary schools. The type of research is quantitative with regression analysis. The locations used were public elementary schools in Lawang District which had 79 teachers from 9 clusters with a total of 374 teachers. This research uses a cluster random sampling technique. The data collection for this research uses Likert scale numbers. The research results showed that the use of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform was at a moderate level, with the results of a simple linear regression test obtaining a significance of 0.026

Abstract

School cafeteria is a special service that provides healthy food and drinks for students and school staff who occupy a building part of the school building. The cafeteria is one form of school attention to the school community in order to meet their needs. The purpose of this study was to determine how the canteen is managed in schools. The method used is a qualitative approach with interview and observation techniques. The results of this study are that schools implement POAC management in managing school canteens.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the differences in learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Batu based on gender. Using a comparative research design, data was collected from 314 students through the VAK Learning Style Inventory and analyzed using chi-square tests. The findings reveal that there is no significant relationship between gender and learning styles, as indicated by an Asymp. Sig. value of 0.940. The predominant learning style among students is visual, followed by kinesthetic and auditory. These results indicate that gender does not significantly influence the learning style preferences of students. Consequently, factors such as physical, emotional, psychological, environmental, strategic, and interest-related elements play a more substantial role in shaping learning styles. The implications for educators and counselors are profound, suggesting that a broader range of influencing factors should be considered when designing interventions and support strategies to enhance student learning experiences and outcomes. Future research should investigate these variables further with larger sample sizes and consider additional factors that may impact learning styles. Abstract

Quality education is considered an essential component for the progress of a nation. However, both countries face various obstacles, including the quality of teaching staff, infrastructure disparities, and differences in access to education between urban and rural areas. On the other hand, opportunities that exist through innovative policies, the application of technology in the learning process, and international collaboration can be utilized to improve the quality of education. This research applies a qualitative approach with literature analysis to assess educational policies and their impact on student learning outcomes. The findings show that although the challenges faced are significant, strategic steps can be taken to address these issues and improve the quality of education in both countries. By taking advantage of existing opportunities, it is hoped that Indonesia and Malaysia can build an education system that is more inclusive and relevant to global needs.

Abstract

Indeks pendidikan Kabupaten Bangkalan berada diurutan kedua terbawah di Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan angkan 0,52%, pendidikan yang tidak merata terjadi di wilayah pesisir kamal Madura Kabupaten Bangkalan yang disebabkan oleh adanya permasalahan pendapatan orang tua serta hierarki dan doktrinisasi orang tua kepada anak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengkaji model pendidikan learning trough play yang menekankan kepada aspek kontruksi sosial masyarakat madura bhuppa’-bhabbhu-ghuru-rato. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menekankan kepada aspek kontruksi sosial yang memiliki kesamaan dengan teori expectation state theory, dengan penarikan kesimpulan berupa program dengan tujuan meretas paradigma nirfungsi anak pesisir madura. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa Sekolah Majhang’ menyediakan 3 program unggulan yang terdiri dari (1) MCT (Majhang’ Critical Thinking) melalui proses pembelajaran ini anak- anak nantinya akan bermain sebuah games UNO bangunan, permainan ini dimainkan oleh 8 orang anak. (2) M-EMOTION (Majhang’ Emotion) memberikan kesempatan kepada anak- anak nelayan dalam mengekpresikan emosi mereka, nantinya mereka akan mendapatkan sebuah buku yang dijadikan diary book dalam mengindetifikasi emosi yang mereka rasakan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Abstract

This research aims to explore vocational activities in the form of handicrafts carried out by students with disabilities. Students with disabilities often face various challenges in the educational environment. Therefore, non-academic skills are needed to support their achievements in education. One type of non-academic ability in question is to train the skills possessed by students. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach to understand the dynamics involved. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The results showed that the improvement of motoric and cognitive skills of students with disabilities significantly correlated with the improvement of their academic achievement. In addition, ongoing support from the family and school environment was also found to be an important factor in strengthening these skills. Based onthese findings, the researcher suggests that special education providers are consistent in developing the individual skills of students with disabilities to optimize their academic potential. The findings are expected to provide insights for educators and policy makers in designing more inclusive and effective education strategies for students with special needs. Abstract

Abstract Peserta didik merupakan elemen utama dan terpenting dalam pendidikan, tanpa peserta didik tidak akan mungkin terjadi proses pembelajaran di kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Raudlatul Ulum Kabupaten Malang. Total quality manajemen (TQM) adalah salah satu model atau metode yang digunakan untuk meningkatkan mutu di lembaga pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kualitas mutu peserta didik yang dapat berkompeten setelah menyelesaikan studi di sekolah dan salah satu madrasah yang menerapkan manajemen perkembangan siswa berbasis total quality manajemen (TQM) adalah SMP Raudlatul Ulum Kabupaten Malang dimana sekolah tersebut dapat mencetak output pendidikan yang cerdas intelektualitas maupun moralitasnya. Peneliti dalam meneliti SMP Raudlatul Ulum Kabupaten Malang menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan hasil penelitian mengembangkan mutu peserta didik membutuhkan manajemen yang baik dalam mengembangkan kemampuan peserta didik seperti paham akan suatu peroses juga puasnya pelangan sehingga sekolah mampu mengetahui tanggung jawabnya dengan mengutamakan kualitas. Manejemen perkembangan peserta didik yang digunakan peneliti yaitu Perencanaan, mekanisme penerimaan peserta didik, proses seleksi dan kegiatan orientasi peserta didik baru, pembagian ruang kelas, pembinaan dan pengembangan, monitoring dan evaluasi manajemen peserta didik di SMP Raudlatul Ulum Kabupaten Malang. Abstrak Students are the main and most important element in education, without students it is impossible for the learning process to occur in the classroom. This research was conducted at Raudlatul Ulum Middle School, Malang Regency. Total quality management (TQM) is a model or method used to improve quality in educational institutions. This research aims to improve the quality of students who can be competent after completing their studies at school and one of the madrasas that implements student development management based on total quality management (TQM) is Raudlatul Ulum Middle School, Malang Regency, where the school can produce educational output that is intellectually and morally intelligent. . Researchers in the research at Raudlatul Ulum Middle School, Malang Regency, used a qualitative descriptive approach with the results of the research, developing student mutuality requires good management in developing students' abilities, such as understanding a process and customer satisfaction so that the school is able to know its responsibilities by prioritizing quality. The student development management used by researchers is planning, student acceptance mechanisms, selection process and orientation activities for new students, division of classrooms, training and development, monitoring and evaluation of student management at Raudlatul Ulum Middle School, Malang Regency.

Abstract

Social media is an online platform that facilitates indirect interaction among its users, providing a space for anyone to comment, participate openly, and rapidly share information widely. It is widely recognized that this phenomenon exerts significant influence on individuals' lives, particularly among adolescents today. Consequently, they may become overly comfortable and forget their inherent social nature, which necessitates direct interaction within their social environment. This study examines the behaviors of students at SMKS PGRI 6 Malang when using social media. The aim is to investigate the impact of social media usage on the social behaviors of these students. Employing a qualitative method with a phenomenological research strategy, data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews. Three students from SMKS PGRI 6 Malang participated in the study. Findings indicate that social media tends to have predominantly negative impacts. While social media influences the social behaviors of students, it does not necessarily foster empathy among the students of SMKS PGRI 6 Malang towards their environment.

Abstract

In developing countries, the treatment of children with special needs involves a holisticand interrelated approach, engaging parents, local health services, and educational institutions. However, preliminary studies reveal two major issues: (1) the absenceof specific supervision guidelines for inclusive education programs, and (2) supervisors' lack of knowledge on how to assist inclusive education, despite socialization efforts. Inclusive schools, both public and private, implement these programs based on school autonomy. This research aims to identify supervisory strategies that are appropriate or adaptabletothe current conditions of inclusive education in Indonesia. It employs the SystematicLiterature Review (SLR), focusing on a comprehensive review and analysis of relevant literature. The study examines 26 sources from databases such as Open Knowledge, Google Scholar, and DOAJ, covering publications from 2014 to 2024. The findingsindicate that the most common supervisory strategy is the adaptation of regular school supervision practices, with focus group discussions involving supervisors and teachersbeing the primary data collection technique. Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of technological innovation on school management, especially in terms of efficiency, effectiveness and service quality. Through a literature review, this research analyzes various studies that discuss the application of information technology in educational management. The results of the analysis show that technological innovation has great potential to increase operational efficiency, facilitate collaboration, and improve the quality of educational services. However, this research also identified a number of challenges such as the digital divide, data security and lack of human resource competence. This research concludes that despite challenges, technological innovation is the key to improving the quality of education in the digital era. To achieve this, careful planning, cross-sector collaboration and human resource capacity development are needed.
