Abstract

This research focuses on the importance of analyzing the needs of school administration personnel in managing human resources to support the success of the educational process. Through literature studies, this study analyzes various aspects related to the management of school administration personnel ranging from needs analysis, planning, recruitment, competency development, to performance evaluation. Currently, there is still a shortage of school administration personnel and even their performance competence. Therefore, it requires effective and efficient management of school administration personnel, including needs analysis, careful planning, and continuous competency development. The optimal performance of school administration personnel can contribute significantly to improving the quality of education in schools. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach. Data is obtained from various sources, such as scientific journals and articles. This article provides guidance for schools in improving the competence and management of school administration personnel through a planned and systematic approach.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program and student participation in organizations on academic achievement at the State University of Malang (UM). Using a descriptive quantitative approach and proportionate random sampling technique, 94 respondents from 1,641 students. The results showed: (1) the implementation of the MBKM program at the State University of Malang can be said to be very high with FMIPA as a faculty that has a very high frequency; (2) student participation in organizations at the State University of Malang is in a very high classification with FMIPA as a faculty that shows a very high frequency; (3) the academic achievement of Malang State University students is in a very high classification with FMIPA and FS as faculties that have a very high frequency; (4) MBKM implementation has a positive effect on academic achievement; (5) organizational participation has a negative effect on academic achievement; (6) together, both have a positive effect. Abstract

This study explores the differences in academic burnout levels between male and female eighthgrade students at SMPN 3 Batu. Utilizing a comparative design, the research involved 137 students, including 39 males and 98 females, with data collected through the Indonesian version of the School Burnout Inventory (SBI). Independent sample t-tests were employed for data analysis. The results indicated no significant gender differences in academic burnout levels, as both male and female students exhibited similar experiences of burnout as indicated by Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.432. The majority of students reported moderate levels of burnout, with 70.1% of the sample falling into this category. Furthermore, 16.1% of the students experienced low burnout, while 13.9% reported high burnout levels. The findings underscore the prevalence of academic burnout among junior high school students, emphasizing the need for interventions that cater to the needs of all students regardless of gender. This research contributes to the body of knowledge on academic burnout by focusing on younger adolescents, a demographic often overlooked in burnout studies. The study highlights the importance of early identification and intervention to prevent and manage academic burnout, ultimately supporting students' mental health and academic success.

Abstract

Skill stimulasi mahasiswa dalam perkembangan kognitif sains anak usia dini memiliki kekurangan yang perlu dibenahi, sebanyak 85% mahasiswa menyatakan bahwa materi yang diajarkan dalam mata kuliah cenderung terlalu bersifat teoritis dan sebanyak 73% mahasiswa kesulitan menerapkan teori. Selain itu, bahan ajar yang digunakan juga terbatas. Sehingga mahasiswa mengaplikasikan konsep teoritis ke dalam praktik. Maka dari itu, dibutuhkan sebuah sebuah metode pembelajaran yang lebih konsektual dan interaktif bagi mahasiswa calon guru PAUD dalam mengembangkan skill stimulasi perkembangan kognitif sains anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk; 1) Mengembangkan materi perkembangan kognitif sains AUD yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. 2) Mengembangkan Video Based Assisted-Simulation (VBAS) untuk mengemas materi perkembangan kognitif sains anak usia dini yang memenuhi kriteria kelayakan. Metode penelitian RnD Dick dan Carey digunakan untuk mengembangkan program baru yang bertujuan meningkatkan skill stimulasi mahasiswa pada perkembangan kognitif sains anak usia dini. Langkah-langkahnya meliputi identifikasi kebutuhan, pengembangan desain awal, validasi oleh ahli, uji coba awal, revisi, implementasi, evaluasi, dan revisi lanjutan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif presentase. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas ahli menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan Video Based Assisted-Simulation (VBAS) dikatakan valid. Hal ini dibuktikan Hal ini dibuktikan dengan rata-rata validasi ahli media sebesar 91,6%, rata-rata validasi ahli materi sebesar 85%, dan rata-rata ahli desain pembelajaran sebesar 90,83%. Selanjutnya penerapan VBAS dilakukan uji praktikalitas yang menghasilkan tingkat kepraktisan sebesar 89,12%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa VBAS valid digunakan sebagai platform pembelajaran interaktif yang efektif dan inovatif. VBAS memungkinkan mahasiswa terlibat dalam skenario dunia nyata secara virtual, memberi mereka kesempatan untuk memahami teori perkembangan kognitif sains pada anak usia dini dan merancang strategi stimulasi yang tepat.

Abstract

In learning mathematics, it always contains numeracy skills as well as analytical skills related to solving problems in everyday life. Application of learning models Problem Based Learning with approach Problem Posing aims to improve students' analytical skills so that they gain new knowledge to solve problems. This research uses quantitative methods quasi experiment with type pretest posttest control group design. To find out the effect of implementing this model, namely through a test instrument in the form of a written test or essay which is used to measure analytical abilities according to analytical ability indicators. The research results state that the implementation Problem Based Learning with approach Problem Posing has a significant influence on students' analytical abilities in mathematical numeracy. It is hoped that future researchers will be able to apply research regarding the model Problem Based Learning with approach Problem Posing over a longer research period. Abstract

Abstract The ability of critical thinking among students is a crucial component in their lives. Through critical thinking skills, students can comprehend and understand information comprehensively or in-depth. This research aims to explore, identify, and explain general publication trends, methodological approaches used, and strategies to cultivate and develop students' critical thinking skills. This study employs Systematic Literature Review (SLR) following PRISMA guidelines to obtain articles relevant to the researched topic. First, the publication trend of articles began in 2004, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2017, 2018, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022, with the highest frequency of research conducted in the United States, Indonesia, and Brazil. Second, the methodology approaches from highest to lowest frequency of use are quantitative, qualitative, mixed methods, literature review, and research & development (R&D). Third, strategies to foster and enhance critical thinking skills are implemented using 10 types of strategies such as curriculum-integrated approaches with various components, Integrated training methods (simulations and critical thinking strategies), practical inquiry model, academic motivation, clinical simulation, flipped classroom, didactic approaches, DL & MKS, classroom debates, and reciprocal teaching strategy. Abstrak Kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik merupakan suatu komponen yang berperan penting di kehidupannya. Melalui kemampuan berpikir kritis, peserta didik dapat mengerti dan memahami informasi secara komprehensif atau mendalam. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengeksplorasi, mengetahui, dan menjelaskan trend publikasi secara umum, pendekatan metodologi yang digunakan, dan strategi untuk menumbuhkan dan mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Sistematis Literature Review (SLR) dengan panduan PRISMA untuk mendapatkan artikel yang mempunyai relevansi dengan topik yang diiteliti. Pertama, trend publikasi artikel dimulai pada tahun 2004, 2007, 2010, 2012, 2017, 2018, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021, dan 2022 serta negara dengan frekuensi tertinggi dalam melaksanakan penelitian adalah Amerika, Indonesia, an Brazil. Kedua, pendekatan metodologi yang mempunyai frekuensi tertinggi menuju terendah untuk digunakan adalah kuantitatif, kualitatif, mixed methods, literature review, dan research & development (R&D). Abstract

Basic education is a place where individuals build knowledge, attitudes, and positive behaviors that are used for future life. However, in reality, there have been many practices that are not for basic education, such as bullying in the school environment. This research aims to reveal the impact of bullying on the mental health of victims who are students of SMK PGRI 2 Malang. This study uses a qualitative case study method involving three students who are victims of bullying as the main informants. Informants were taken through purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through structured interviews, observations, and document analysis. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which consisted of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The process of data validity in this study uses the source triangulation technique. The results of the study showed that bullying had a significant impact on the mental health of the victim, such as anxiety, decreased self-confidence, social exclusion, and prolonged feelings of insecurity. In addition, victims tend to normalize the bullying they experience and are reluctant to report it to the school, especially BK teachers because of a lack of trust in the teacher's abilities and responses. This research highlights the importance of the role of BK teachers in handling bullying cases at school as well as fostering positive relationships and supporting students. Character education is a process of personality formation, ways of thinking and human behavior which will later become a moral foundation in social life. This is why the goals of education at all levels are closely related to the formation of students' character. The application of character education, especially at the elementary school level, is to form and develop potential in students so that they can have values and character both in terms of culture and nation. Abstract

Abstract In the era of Independent Learning, the challenges and strategies in achieving ef ective educational leadership are the primary focus in optimizing the quality of education in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the dynamics of educational leadership amidst changes in the learning paradigm. Through a qualitative approach, this study conducted a literature review and in-depth interviews with educational stakeholders. The findings reveal that educational leaders need to pay attention to adapting to significant changes in education, such as the use of technology and innovation in teaching, as well as empowering teachers as change agents. Identified strategies include developing leadership competencies aligned with the new context, fostering collaboration among stakeholders, and implementing educational policies that support the principles of Independent Learning. This research highlights the importance of transformation in the mindset and practices of educational leadership to support the realization of the Independent Learning vision within the Indonesian education system.
