Abstract

The IACI (Ice Breaking, Atmospheric, Creative and Innovative) approach has become the main focus in improving the quality of learning in secondary schools through Community Service (PkM) activities. This activity aims to explore the implementation of IACI at Mesehi Berastagi High School and analyze its impact on student participation, student responses, learning activities, development of personal potential, and learning motivation. The research method used is a case study using observation, interviews and document analysis as data collection techniques. The results of the activities show that the implementation of the IACI approach at Mesehi Berastagi High School has had a positive impact. The increase in student participation in learning activities reached 85%, while positive student responses to the IACI approach reached 90%. More interactive and creative learning activities contribute 75% to student skill development. The development of students' personal potential looks significant with a percentage of 80%, while the increase in students' motivation in learning reaches 88%. The discussion of the results shows that active student participation, positive responses, interactive learning activities, development of personal potential, and increased student motivation are indicators of the effectiveness of implementing IACI at SMA Mesehi Berastagi. A comfortable learning atmosphere, creative and innovative activities are key factors in achieving positive results. The implication of this research is the importance of continuing to encourage the implementation of the IACI approach in schools as an effort to improve the quality of learning and develop students' potential holistically.

Abstract

Community service is an activity that aims to help the community in several activities without expecting any form of reward. Community service activities are carried out in Rumah Sumbul Village, Sibolangit District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. The method of implementing activities is carried out with survey stages, program planning, collaboration with related parties, implementation of activities, evaluation and documentation. The implementation time of community service activities began on February 5, 2024-February 27, 2024. This research shows that programs designed with the aim of improving literacy, numeracy, and environmental awareness can produce significant results. This demonstrates the potential for these programs to become models that can be adopted by other villages to improve quality of life and sustainable development. The research also emphasizes the importance of education and environmental awareness in achieving the goals of sustainable development and community welfare.

Abstract

The implementation of this PKM application is the socialisation of the use of google form for teachers at YPI Dharma Budi High School. The purpose of this activity is based on the results of observations and initial interviews with the principal and teachers, students bring the socialization of the use of google space because at that location it is still very necessary to use technology to be evenly distributed. In addition, students will also participate in the classroom teaching process if there are empty classes and teach according to the student's study programme. The results of this PKM program helped the school in completing administration and utilizing google forms in the learning process and inputting student data. Students also get additional insights from the use of google form.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy is knowledge and skills in using various kinds of numbers and symbols related to mathematics as a basis for solving practical problems in everyday life and analyzing information in various forms such as graphs, tables, charts and so on. The aim of this service activity will be achieved by providing a learning platform such as afternoon tutoring which will guide and create a fun learning atmosphere for TPACK, for the Health section by providing assistance, training and guidance to village residents to introduce good practices in increasing mutual cooperation motivation. and Health sections such as posyandu. In fact, from the results of an interview with the village head, Mr. Andreas Purba, the literacy and numeracy level of students in Kacaribu village, Kabanjahe sub-district is still relatively low due to the low interest in learning of students which is caused by monotonous learning without linking it to technological developments, thereby reducing participants' interest in learning. grew up in the village. Therefore, the PKM team in Kacaribu village offers a solution for using TPACK to improve literacy and numeracy, where TPACK is a learning method that applies technology in the learning process, such as using Canva, PPT and other media as tools in learning. Not only in terms of literacy and numeracy, but health also plays an important role in creating an active and creative educational environment. Health does not only involve nutrition entering students' bodies, but the environment also has a big influence on health. Because if the community environment is clean and healthy then this can improve the quality of education, but if the community environment is dirty it can support the scope of education where students will breathe dirty air which will affect the comfort of learning. This service uses a participatory action service design (Action Research) with a qualitative approach. This design was chosen because the aim of this service is to help the community, especially students in Kacaribu village, in improving numeracy literacy and health, so active participation is needed from the Kacaribu village community to achieve this goal. With the assistance activities of Kacaribu Village residents to practice using TPACK to improve literacy, numeracy and health, there was a significant increase in students' interest in learning in taking additional lessons held at the Kacaribu Village office and also the enthusiasm of students in using TPACK in the learning process at Kabanjahe 2 Catholic High School. The community service program also shows that the program implemented has a positive impact on increasing knowledge and awareness of the Kacaribu Village community in increasing awareness of health at posyandu. It also shows that community awareness of health can be influenced by certain factors. In this case, the mentoring program implemented was successful in increasing community knowledge in improving awareness and health.

Abstract

This community service (PKM) is focused on the Role of Economic Literacy in Improving Student Learning in the Era of Globalization 5.0 at SMA Kartika I-2 Medan. The implementation of this PKM is motivated by the low skills of students in utilizing information technology and multimedia. The objectives to be achieved in this PKM include: 1) providing an understanding to students of SMA Kartika I-2 Medan so that they can utilize technology positively, 2) helping students to see business opportunities in the digital era, 3) providing an understanding to students related to current digital technology, 4) training students to Implement Economic Literacy well 5) fostering cooperation with various parties related to Community Service, especially the school, to introduce HKBP Nommensen Medan University to students at SMA Kartika I-2 Medan. The method used to achieve the objectives of this PKM is through lectures and practices. Materials related to the training are delivered through lectures and discussions. Then the training is carried out directly with direct practice. This PKM activity overall got good and satisfying results. Some components that were successfully achieved in the implementation of this activity include: 1) achievement of activity objectives, 2) achievement of planned material targets.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources is a series of efforts to realize the whole person. It includes the development of human resources, both as people and as inseparable development resources. This PkM aims to equip education human resources with the latest knowledge and skills and develop professionalism and work ethics. The method of this coaching activity is carried out using lectures, on-the-job, vestibule, demonstration, and simulation. Human development as a development resource emphasizes humans as development actors who have a productive work ethic, skills, creativity, discipline, and professionalism, and have the ability to utilize, develop, and master science and technology (IPTEK) environmentally sound innovation and management skills. After all, the main driver of innovation is human resources and to be successful it is necessary to support, plan, and maintain a culture of innovation. Based on these aspects, the facilitator team proposed an HR development activity packaged in training for lecturers and teaching staff to build employee harmony and HR development. at educational institutions, especially at Universitas Catur Insan Cendekia (UCIC) Cirebon.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of teachers, canteen managers, kitchen managers, and pesantren administrators in Bogor Regency about adolescent health and nutrition. The Nutrition Goes to School program, which focuses on teaching administrators and managers about balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyles, was implemented to support this program. The implementation methods included lectures, interactive discussions, simulations of nutritious menu preparation, and BMI measurement, involving 14 participants. The results of the training showed a significant increase in participants' knowledge, with an average score increase of 22% in both the pre-test and post-test. In addition, participants were able to make a balanced nutrition implementation plan for santri and apply the knowledge learned through direct practice. The importance of the concepts of health promotion and behavior change in the educational environment shows the contribution of this activity to science in the field of education. This activity successfully combines health education with the daily practices of pesantren with a participatory approach, which results in a healthier learning environment and supports adolescent development. In addition, this program can serve as a model for implementing adaptive health education for similar environments in the future.

Abstract

Sukacai area, Pandeglang is an area in West Java that is known for its people who have skills in making emping and producing melinjo. For MSMEs, building branding is often a complex challenge. Limited resources, both in terms of finances, knowledge, and manpower, are often the main obstacle in developing an effective branding strategy. Not infrequently, MSMEs are trapped in the mindset that branding is only relevant for large companies with large budgets. In fact, proper branding can actually be the main weapon for MSMEs to compete with larger business actors. Strong branding helps MSMEs create a positive image in the eyes of consumers, build trust, and expand market reach. Abstract

This Community Service Program (PKM) aims to implement an interactive learning application based on Construct 2 for introducing the solar system at SMP Negeri 2 Jiput. The application is designed to enhance students' understanding of the solar system through engaging and interactive visual approaches. The methods used in this activity include teacher training, application installation on school devices, and monitoring during the learning process. The expected outcomes are increased student interest and a deeper understanding of solar system concepts. This program is expected to positively impact the effectiveness of learning and promote the integration of information technology in the educational process.

Abstract

This community service initiative seeks to support the implementation of a village service application system based on the Laravel framework in Sukacai Village, Jiput District, Pandeglang Regency. The system is intended to improve the efficiency and transparency of village administrative processes by digitizing them. The methods involve training local staff, installing the application, and providing ongoing monitoring during the implementation phase. The desired outcomes include a system that enables village officials to manage public services more effectively, leading to faster, more reliable services for the community. In addition, this project emphasizes capacity building to ensure that village officials not only use the system but can maintain it independently in the long term. By improving digital literacy among village staff and fostering a more tech-savvy environment, the system's sustainability and adaptability are expected to benefit the community at large. Through these efforts, the overall goal is to create a model for other rural areas to follow in improving public services with technology.
